Sabrina Carpenter announced a new album. How much are tickets to see her live?
Sabrina Carpenter has taken a page from Taylor Swift's playbook.
Like the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' hitmaker, Carpenter has a.) extended her multi-year tour and b.) announced a surprise mid-trek album.
For Swift, she dropped 'The Tortured Poets Department' during the international leg of the 'Eras Tour.' Carpenter is doing the same with 'Man's Best Friend,' due out Aug. 29.

While we wait for more bread crumbs from the record before its release, fans can obsess over the Jack Antonoff-produced single 'Manchild.' For our money, the bouncy, synth-country bop captures the lightning in a bottle magic on display in her two breakout 2024 smashes 'Espresso' and 'Please Please Please.'
A little over a month after 'Man's Best Friend' hits shelves, the 26-year-old kicks off the second leg of her 'Short n' Sweet Tour' with special guests Olivia Dean, Amber Mark and Ravyn Lenae joining her on select dates.
That run includes a whopping five (!) shows at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Oct. 26, Tuesday, Oct. 28, Wednesday, Oct. 29, Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1.

The lively 3.5-minute tune begins with a light laugh and what sounds like an off-the-cuff spoken 'oh, boy' before launching into the simultaneously earthy and artificial sound that backs Carpenter's gorgeous voice.

Who knew that the beginning of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour would kick off another new era in a totally different part of American culture? Since she made her first appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game nearly two years ago, the team has been reaping the benefits of its own Taylor Swift era. Chiefs principal owner Clark Hunt joined the Pat McAfee Show on Friday, Aug. 15, and spoke on the effects that Swift's relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have had on the team. "It's been a whirlwind for the organization over the last two years since Taylor literally stepped into our lives," Hunt said. "She's done an amazing job, unintentionally, of increasing our female fanbase. We used to be about a 50/50 ratio, male to female fanbase, and now 57% of our fans are female, which I think is probably the highest in the National Football League. "So there's absolutely been a Taylor Swift effect." HOW TRAVIS KELCE MET TAYLOR SWIFT: Friendship bracelets and 'Cupid' The Chiefs' Swiftie era can trace its roots back to the pop superstar's concert at Arrowhead Stadium in July 2023, with two concerts making up one of the earliest stops on her 149-show Eras Tour. Weeks after the tour stop in Kansas City, Kelce lamented on his and his brother's "New Heights" podcast that he wasn't able to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. Roughly two months later, Swift was spotted on the broadcast cheering on Kelce from a suite at her first Chiefs game. (Hunt said Friday she insisted on getting a "normal fan" experience at that first game with no additional security – "she literally walked through the front door," he said. The role reversal in caring for parents is 'wild.' Taylor Swift knows it all too well.
When Taylor Swift's father, Scott Swift, underwent a quintuple bypass surgery this summer, he said what many dads in his situation might say to their kids: "You guys are busy... don't come." But the pop star knew better. She was there with her mom and brother when her dad woke up from his procedure, and stayed with him as he recovered. "We just all moved in with him for the whole summer, pretty much," Swift said, adding that he needed help walking around. "He was, like, the loveliest patient ever. He just kept saying, 'thank you' over and over again." Swift opened up about her father's surgery, and her role as one of his caregivers, during her appearance on her boyfriend Travis Kelce's podcast, "New Heights," which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce. During the interview, which has garnered more than 15 million views on YouTube since it streamed on Aug. 13, Swift also talked about her life during the Eras Tour, falling for Travis Kelce, her approach to social media, her new sourdough making obsession and she announced her next album, "The Life of a Showgirl." Swift said she, her brother Austin Swift and her mother Andrea Swift took shifts caring for her dad as he recovered from surgery, and said he's now "doing incredibly well." Sharing details about her dad's health was a rare moment for Swift, who tends to not discuss her family's personal lives. Swift's caregiving story is also significant in the care world, where advocates are always trying to spread awareness about the struggles of caregivers, who now make up nearly 25% of the American adult population, according to a recent report from the AARP and the National Alliance for Caregiving. 'Parent-child reversal' Swift said her father's five heart blockages were detected in a resting stress test, not in his yearly EKG. "He's been telling all his friends, 'You need to get the stress test,'" Swift said. "Because that's what's actually preventative."
