Sabrina Carpenter announced a new album. How much are tickets to see her live?
Sabrina Carpenter has taken a page from Taylor Swift's playbook.
Like the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' hitmaker, Carpenter has a.) extended her multi-year tour and b.) announced a surprise mid-trek album.
For Swift, she dropped 'The Tortured Poets Department' during the international leg of the 'Eras Tour.' Carpenter is doing the same with 'Man's Best Friend,' due out Aug. 29.

While we wait for more bread crumbs from the record before its release, fans can obsess over the Jack Antonoff-produced single 'Manchild.' For our money, the bouncy, synth-country bop captures the lightning in a bottle magic on display in her two breakout 2024 smashes 'Espresso' and 'Please Please Please.'
A little over a month after 'Man's Best Friend' hits shelves, the 26-year-old kicks off the second leg of her 'Short n' Sweet Tour' with special guests Olivia Dean, Amber Mark and Ravyn Lenae joining her on select dates.
That run includes a whopping five (!) shows at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Oct. 26, Tuesday, Oct. 28, Wednesday, Oct. 29, Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1.
And, given that Carpenter is back in the news — it looks like she may be the most talked-about artist for the second summer in a row — we're curious how much tickets cost to see the pint-sized pop star.

Carpenter unveiled 'Manchild' on June 5, 2025.
The lively 3.5-minute tune begins with a light laugh and what sounds like an off-the-cuff spoken 'oh, boy' before launching into the simultaneously earthy and artificial sound that backs Carpenter's gorgeous voice.
As you may have guessed, the ditty tells the story of a man that isn't quite mature enough for her as evidenced by cutting lyrics like 'Man-child/Why you always come a-running to me?/F— my life/Won't you let an innocent woman be?'
To hear for yourself, you can groove along to the pointed yet buoyant banger here.

Chiefs in their Taylor Swift era: Owner says majority of fans are women
Who knew that the beginning of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour would kick off another new era in a totally different part of American culture? Since she made her first appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game nearly two years ago, the team has been reaping the benefits of its own Taylor Swift era. Chiefs principal owner Clark Hunt joined the Pat McAfee Show on Friday, Aug. 15, and spoke on the effects that Swift's relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have had on the team. "It's been a whirlwind for the organization over the last two years since Taylor literally stepped into our lives," Hunt said. "She's done an amazing job, unintentionally, of increasing our female fanbase. We used to be about a 50/50 ratio, male to female fanbase, and now 57% of our fans are female, which I think is probably the highest in the National Football League. "So there's absolutely been a Taylor Swift effect." HOW TRAVIS KELCE MET TAYLOR SWIFT: Friendship bracelets and 'Cupid' The Chiefs' Swiftie era can trace its roots back to the pop superstar's concert at Arrowhead Stadium in July 2023, with two concerts making up one of the earliest stops on her 149-show Eras Tour. Weeks after the tour stop in Kansas City, Kelce lamented on his and his brother's "New Heights" podcast that he wasn't able to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. Roughly two months later, Swift was spotted on the broadcast cheering on Kelce from a suite at her first Chiefs game. (Hunt said Friday she insisted on getting a "normal fan" experience at that first game with no additional security – "she literally walked through the front door," he said. With fans largely expecting her to attend the Chiefs' home games, she has received heightened security from the team in the time since.) NANCY ARMOUR: Keep whining, insecure men. Taylor Swift isn't even thinking about you. According to analysis by marketing firm Apex Marketing, from September 2023 – when Swift attended that first game – through this past February – the date of the most recent Super Bowl – Swift brought in nearly $1 billion worth of publicity to the NFL. Swift's connection to the Chiefs means that Kansas City has undoubtedly gotten one of the largest pieces of that metaphorical pie – and the demographic shift that Hunt pointed out Friday certainly suggests that. To that end, Kelce's jersey sales spiked 400% overnight after Swift's first appearance at a Chiefs game, according to Fanatics, and Kelce, Swift and the Chiefs have not looked back in the time since that first outing. The singer has attended 23 Chiefs games – including five playoff games and two Super Bowls – since the two began their relationship. On Wednesday, Swift made her first-ever podcast appearance on "New Heights" and spoke about her relationship with Kelce and her experience as a new Chiefs fan. The episode had a record-setting 1.3 million concurrent viewers during its YouTube premiere and now has 15 million views (and counting) on the video streaming site as of Friday afternoon.

The role reversal in caring for parents is 'wild.' Taylor Swift knows it all too well.
When Taylor Swift's father, Scott Swift, underwent a quintuple bypass surgery this summer, he said what many dads in his situation might say to their kids: "You guys are busy... don't come." But the pop star knew better. She was there with her mom and brother when her dad woke up from his procedure, and stayed with him as he recovered. "We just all moved in with him for the whole summer, pretty much," Swift said, adding that he needed help walking around. "He was, like, the loveliest patient ever. He just kept saying, 'thank you' over and over again." Swift opened up about her father's surgery, and her role as one of his caregivers, during her appearance on her boyfriend Travis Kelce's podcast, "New Heights," which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce. During the interview, which has garnered more than 15 million views on YouTube since it streamed on Aug. 13, Swift also talked about her life during the Eras Tour, falling for Travis Kelce, her approach to social media, her new sourdough making obsession and she announced her next album, "The Life of a Showgirl." Swift said she, her brother Austin Swift and her mother Andrea Swift took shifts caring for her dad as he recovered from surgery, and said he's now "doing incredibly well." Sharing details about her dad's health was a rare moment for Swift, who tends to not discuss her family's personal lives. Swift's caregiving story is also significant in the care world, where advocates are always trying to spread awareness about the struggles of caregivers, who now make up nearly 25% of the American adult population, according to a recent report from the AARP and the National Alliance for Caregiving. Other celebrities have recently come forward to tell their own caregiving stories, including Academy Award-nominated actor Bradley Cooper and Emmy Award-winning actress Uzo Aduba. "It is a reminder that everyone has a care concern," said Jocelyn Frye, president of the National Partnership for Women & Families. "Everyone wants their mom or their dad, their spouse, their child, their family member to be cared for. Having high profile people who presumably have access to resources talk about their struggles also is a reminder that these issues are hard for everyone." Dr. Myechia Minter-Jordan, AARP's CEO, said the organization hears every day from family caregivers who are managing medications, coordinating appointments, bathing loved ones, navigating insurance claims and "doing it all while working, raising children, and trying to stay afloat financially and emotionally." "Taylor Swift's openness about caring for her father shines a light on what 63 million Americans are experiencing right now," Minter-Jordan said. "Perhaps most heartbreaking, nearly a quarter of caregivers say they feel completely alone. When public figures like Taylor share their caregiving journey, it helps break that isolation, validates caregivers' experiences, and underscores why we must build systems that see them, value them, and support them.' 'Parent-child reversal' Swift said her father's five heart blockages were detected in a resting stress test, not in his yearly EKG. "He's been telling all his friends, 'You need to get the stress test,'" Swift said. "Because that's what's actually preventative." Once the blockages were found, Swift said, "it all happened really quick." "It was kind of wild, because it was, like... it was very parent-child reversal," Swift said. She recalled fighting with her parents as a teenager when she would sneak her cell phone into her room at night to talk to friends. When her dad was recovering, she said, Swift and her brother had to monitor their dad's cell phone use. "I'm having these moments where I'm like, this dude built play sets and swing sets and cribs for me. I'm building his shower chair and his walker and his bed," she said. "It's just surreal, man." Swift mentioned her mother recently got a new knee, too, and "is doing great." "This was just, like, the summer of my parental upgrades," Swift joked. "We're just upgrading the parents, making sure that they live to be at least 186 years old. Because they're two of my best friends." Caring for her parents, Swift said, was "actually one of the most special things that's ever happened to me." "Spending all that time with them this summer," Swift said. "You have those long talks that you don't have when it's, like, a small, concentrated period of time." Sabrina Carpenter Kidnaps 26 Fans for Secret 'Man's Best Friend' Listening Party and They Loved It
Pop princess Sabrina Carpenter has officially entered her dog mom era musically speaking and she's doing it with all the flair of a girl who knows her new record is going to devour the charts. Earlier this week, the chart-topping 'Manchild' singer invited 26 of her most loyal LA fans for an ultra-exclusive first listen of her upcoming album, Man's Best Friend, and if you're feeling jealous right now… good. You should be. A Bus, a Secret Location, and No Phones Allowed In a move that screams 'main pop girl with main character energy' Carpenter lured her chosen ones to a private location before whisking them away on a bus to the studio for the listening party. Once there, she collected every single phone like the baddest teacher in pop school, not for control but to ensure every fan was fully present for the experience. On X (formerly Twitter), she spilled the tea herself: 'Last night was the first playdate for Man's Best Friend! I asked 26 of my beautiful LA fans to meet at a private location and then get on a bus to come meet me at the studio where i got to play the whole album for them they were gracious enough to let me take their phones so they were totally present and respectful and amazing and it was genuinely one of my favorite nights in such a long time! The excitement i get to play this album top to bottom is really like no other record I've made x just 15 days away now!!!!' The Album That's About to Eat August Alive Man's Best Friend drops August 29, featuring a tracklist that sounds like the perfect mix of heartbreak, pettiness, and chaotic joy: Manchild Tears My Man On Willpower Sugar Talking We Broke Up Again Last Night Nobody's Son Never Getting Laid When Did You Get Hot? Go Go Juice Don't Worry I'll Make You Worry House Tour Goodbye The lead single Manchild already debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in June and is still clinging to the Top 40 like your ex's last shred of dignity. Meanwhile, 'Busy Woman' from the deluxe edition of Short 'n Sweet is holding its own at #35. Pop's New Power Duo Moment And because Sabrina isn't just feeding her own fans, she's serving the entire pop community, she's also starring on Taylor Swift's upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl, out October 3. The collab? The title track, naturally. Swift announced the project and its tracklist on her boyfriend Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast, sending the internet into meltdown mode over the 'Taybrina' alliance. Fifteen days until Man's Best Friend drops, and frankly? It feels like waiting for Christmas morning if Santa was hot, petty, and could belt a middle eight that makes you cry in your car.
