Haley Joel Osment heard on video hurling racist slur during arrest at ski resort
Former child star Haley Joel Osment hurled a racist slur during his arrest for public intoxication at a California ski resort last week, according to bodycam video released Thursday.
An arresting officer reported Haley was acting belligerent and throwing Jewish epithets at police when he was taken into custody on April 8 at Mammoth Mountain, law enforcement sources told TMZ.
Bodycam footage later obtained by the outlet appears to back up those claims, showing Osment calling a cop the 'K' word, while also referring to him as a 'f—ing Nazi.'
Additional video shows the moment officers with the Mammoth Lakes Police Department discovered what they say was cocaine in Osment's possession.
The 37-year-old actor was formally charged on Thursday with disorderly conduct under the influence of alcohol and possession of cocaine, nine days after cops received a call reporting an 'intoxicated person' creating a disturbance on the slopes of Mammoth.
Separate video taken at the resort, also obtained by TMZ, shows the Oscar-nominated 'Sixth Sense' star causing a scene at a chair lift, where he can be seen with his helmet on backwards.
'I mean, the backwards helmet is a dead giveaway,' one onlooker says offscreen, while another suggests Osment 'had a little too much.'
Multiple people can be heard shouting for the actor to get out of the line, yelling that someone should call security.
Eventually, a crewmember who'd been standing beside Osment waves at him to follow her out of the area. The actor was then held by ski patrol staff until police arrived at the scene.
'He couldn't take care of himself,' one staff member told police, as heard in the bodycam clips. 'He went to the bar, ordered one drink, and was so intoxicated that he spilled it. And then he got cut off.'
The footage shows Osment later being escorted into the police station, where he reportedly spent the night before being released the next day, according to Us Weekly.
He's scheduled to be arraigned on July 7 in Mono County Superior Court.
Osment's arrest was not his first brush with the law. In 2018, authorities were called to a Las Vegas airport after Osment allegedly lashed out at American Airlines staff when he missed a flight.
In 2006, Osment was charged with DUI and possession of marijuana after driving his car into a mailbox. The then-18-year-old was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to 60 hours in an alcohol rehabilitation and education program, CBS News reported at the time.
Sources told TMZ on Thursday that Osment has been struggling in recent months after losing his home in the Southern California wildfires in January.

Ryan Lochte Could Be Forced Out Of His Florida Home Amid His Divorce From Estranged Wife
The divorce proceedings for Ryan Lochte and his estranged wife, Kayla Reid, have taken a dark turn since the initial news of their separation became public. Now, in a new filing, Reid is demanding sole use of one of their Florida homes, which the Olympic swimmer has pushed back on. In the legal documents, Reid also requested alimony, child support, and primary custody of their three children: Caiden, Liv, and Georgia. According to a report from Us Weekly, Reid, who filed for divorce from the Olympic Gold Medalist in March 2025, recently asked the court to grant her exclusive use of their home in Terrace, Florida. The report explains that Reid needs "the exclusive use of this home and the contents thereof, both now and in the future, for herself and the minor children." As of now, Lochte is reportedly residing at another home worth nearly $450,000, and has been doing so since March of this year. Reid's requests in the filing didn't stop there, though. Us Weekly also reports that the former Playboy Playmate claims Lochte took specific joint assets and income during their marriage and purchased other assets, some of which he put in his name. '[Those] assets are presently being held by [Ryan] in trust for and for all the benefit of [Kayla], and the court should award to [Kayla] her full interest in said assets,' her filing read. Additionally, Reid asked the court for a portion of the money from Lochte's businesses, including Lochte Enterprises LLC and Legendaryswimming LLC, claiming she had contributed significant time and effort to help improve these companies. '[Kayla] makes a claim for equitable distribution of the corporate defendant because she has been of great assistance of [Ryan], only in the marital business but also in terms of providing a home environment which supported [Ryan's] needs in every respect," the filing read. Per Us Weekly, Reid stated that the "marriage of the parties is irretrievably broken" in her divorce filing. The Florida-based real estate agent also stated that she was the primary caretaker of their three children before requesting the court grant her "sole parental responsibility." The 33-year-old also said that she's unable to support their children without Lochte's help and requested that the court award her child support and alimony, adding that she needs 'rehabilitative alimony to assist her financially while acquiring sufficient education, retraining, developing skill and/or improving her employment and income.' Reid's petition also requests that Lochte pay her attorney's fees. In his response, Lochte acknowledged that they own a Florida home together; however, he did not support her request to be granted exclusive use of the estate. He also denied the mother of three's claims about her participation in one of his businesses. The Olympian filed a counter-petition to Reid's divorce filing, too, stating in his documents that their official date of separation was April 2025. Lochte, 40, also requested that the court establish a parenting plan, determine child support, and divide their shared assets. According to a previous report from The Blast, Reid opened up about filing for divorce from Lochte in an Instagram post, where she described the decision to end her marriage as one of the most challenging she's ever had to make. "Earlier this year, I made the hard decision to end my marriage after deep prayer and reflection," Reid wrote online. "I hold marriage in the highest regard, so this has been one of the most painful, revealing, and challenging seasons of my life. I've been hesitant to share until I could do so from a place of healing — not from fresh, open wounds." She continued, "Sometimes we face trials we didn't choose or see coming. And in those moments, we're forced to make the hardest decisions to protect our peace, our children, and our future. I've come to the understanding that staying isn't always the most loving decision someone can make. For me, leaving was an act of love — for those around me and for myself." Lochte also addressed the news in a separate post, where he said divorcing was the "right step toward peace and well-being for us both." "I remain committed to healing, growth, and co-parenting with care and respect as we move forward separately," he finished.

Feds search Kentucky estate owned by SoHo crypto torture suspects
A Kentucky estate owned by two men accused of torturing an Italian man in SoHo over a Bitcoin password was raided by a team of investigators Tuesday. New York City cops joined federal officials and Kentucky State Police to go through a property belonging to cryptocurrency investor John Woeltz and his associate William Duplessie, according to TMZ. Investigators reportedly have two warrants for an 'active and ongoing investigation' involving the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Woeltz, 37, and Duplessie, 33, are accused of luring 28-year-old Michael Valentino Teofrasto Carturan from Italy to Manhattan, then violently keeping him under their control for 17 days before he seemingly escaped their downtown townhouse bloodied and wearing no shoes. Some photos obtained by TMZ call into question how much resistance Caturan offered at certain points in the ordeal. TMZ said one image showed him unrestrained and seemingly using crack cocaine in what appeared to be a party atmosphere. But prosecutors claim Carturan's wrists were bound and he was subjected to 'beatings including but not limited to the use of electric wires to shock him' as well as being assaulted with a firearm that was sometimes pointed at his head. The alleged assailants are also accused of using a saw to cut his leg and urinating on him. Carturan said he was relieved of his passport and electronic devices upon arrival on the Prince Street property. He escaped when one of his captors left him alone to get a laptop so he could enter the passport the suspects wanted. Woeltz is known as the 'Crypto King of Kentucky,' according to TMZ.

WASHINGTON — The Department of Justice on Tuesday extradited an ISIS supporter living in Canada who had been caught planning a mass shooting attack on a Jewish center in New York that would have coincided with the first anniversary of the Oct. 7, 2023 attack. Muhammad Shahzeb Khan, 20, tried to travel from Canada to New York City on Sept. 4 in preparation to carry out the horrific attack on New York Jews – but was caught just short of the US border, according to the Department of Justice. Khan, also known as 'Shahzeb Jadoon,' was charged with attempting to provide material support and resources to ISIS. 5 Muhammad Shahzeb Khan, 20, tried to travel from Canada to New York City on Sept. 4 in preparation to carry out the horrific attack on New York Jews. If convicted, Khan faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. The case is being handled by the Manhattan federal prosecutor's office.
