The Project's Steve Price is left in tears as he makes final appearance on the axed show
Steve Price confessed he felt 'sad' to say goodbye to The Project during his last ever appearance on the once popular panel show.
The tough talking 70-year-old shock jock became tearful as he paid tribute to The Project's cast and crew.
Price, who has been a panelist on The Project since the show's debut in 2009, also recalled his fondness for the show's past hosts including Charlie Pickering and Carrie Bickmore.
'I have been very privileged to sit here,' during his tribute.
'I have always been amazed that an old white guy like me sitting on the bench would ever be allowed to stay for more than a week. And it's turned into 15 years!'

During his chat Price revealed that he brought his adult daughter to see his last ever show.
'My daughter Kate's here tonight. She was 11 when I started doing this. She was still in primary school' he said.
Price, who was a regular panelist on for the start of the working week edition of the show, joked that he would not know what to do with his Mondays now the show has been cancelled.
'I love the crew behind this show,' he added.
'They are the best in the world... And the on-air hosts have been fantastic. You've all been very generous and kind to me.'
Waleed Aly also offered his thanks to his co-star, 'Pricey, before we go, I just want to say - it has been a joy to work with you, mate.'
It comes after The Project's Rachel Corbett could not make it past her introduction before getting emotional as the recently axed show aired its final Sunday edition this weekend.
Corbett, 44, who has been on the panel show since 2015, also seemed to set off host Sarah Harris who was also seen to fight back tears.
'You know it doesn't take me much,' Corbett said as she tried to keep a brave face.
'But you're such a pretty crier,' Harris joked.
Corbett replied that that 'wasn't true' before sharing a heartfelt tribute to her outgoing colleagues.
'Anyway, we've got plenty of show to get to but I just want to say it's been a bloody privilege doing this show with you guys. I love you so dearly.'
The broadcaster, who regularly appears as a panellist on The Project's Sunday edition also thanked the show's regular studio audience who she said turned up 'week after week for this wonderful show.'
The show's producer's later shared the moment to X with the caption, 'It only took us 30 seconds to start crying during our final week on air.'
The Project hosts Waleed Aly, Sarah Harris and Hamish Macdonald are set to exit the network, while comedian Sam Taunton will continue his guest appearances on other Ten shows.
The Project is leaving the TV schedule after 16 years and more than 4,500 episodes.
The Project's original stars Carrie Bickmore, Charlie Pickering and Dave 'Hughesy' Hughes will be joining the panel one last time when the final episode airs on Friday June 27.

'Now that I am a size 10, I have apparently jumped on the "diet" culture whatever that means, it's now bad that I am healthier and lost some weight, and I have abandoned standing up for plus size people. 'Just goes to show, nothing will ever be good enough for people and that's sad.' Jelena continued: 'So if you are facing any kind of judgement especially related to size or looks, you do you and don't allow anyone to make you feel small, worthless or like you are not enough.' The former athlete said that she was still the same person no matter what her size. 'I haven't abandoned anyone. I just got healthier and lost some weight. My values have and always will be the same' Jelena explained. 'But apparently so will people's judgement no matter what. If you can be anything, be kind. You never know what anyone is going through.' The Australian tennis champion has been sharing her weight-loss journey with her fans over the past few months. In March, the Nine commentator shared a side-by-side image that showed before and after her weight loss. Captioning the photo, Jelena offered an inspirational sentiment about body positivity. 'What is the difference between the two images??? Nothing except what you see on the outside. My BODY SIZE,' she began. 'I am the same hardworking person, respectful, generous, empathetic, compassionate, humble, kind, driven, strong, resilient, capable and loving person, woman and friend. THE future of hit show MobLand has been revealed after becoming a runaway streaming success. Fans have been tuning into the gripping drama in their droves on Paramount+. 4 4 Featuring an eclectic cast including Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, it is no wonder that the show has become such a huge hit. Now, it has been confirmed that it will be back for a second series after becoming Paramount+'s second biggest show ever - just trailing behind Landman.
