Jelena Dokic slams trolls who called her a 'fat cow' before 20 kilo weight loss and reveals she is now is being attacked for being too slim - as the tennis champs shares her new clothing size

Jelena Dokic has shared a passionate plea for body shaming trolls to leave her alone. The former tennis star, who has shed 20 kilos, said in an Instagram post on Monday that she was called a slew of horrible names when she was larger. But the 42-year-old said that now that she has slimmed down, she is still being attacked for how she looks now that she is down to a size 10. 'When I was a size 20 someone always complained and now that I am a size 10 someone is always complaining too' she began her lengthy Instagram post. 'It baffles me how there is always some troll, bully or unkind person out there that has to comment or put someone down. When I was a size 20, I was a called names like whale, cow, fat and asking what happened to my size' she continued. 'Now that I am a size 10, I have apparently jumped on the "diet" culture whatever that means, it's now bad that I am healthier and lost some weight, and I have abandoned standing up for plus size people. 'Just goes to show, nothing will ever be good enough for people and that's sad.' Jelena continued: 'So if you are facing any kind of judgement especially related to size or looks, you do you and don't allow anyone to make you feel small, worthless or like you are not enough.' The former athlete said that she was still the same person no matter what her size. 'I haven't abandoned anyone. I just got healthier and lost some weight. My values have and always will be the same' Jelena explained. 'But apparently so will people's judgement no matter what. If you can be anything, be kind. You never know what anyone is going through.' The Australian tennis champion has been sharing her weight-loss journey with her fans over the past few months. In March, the Nine commentator shared a side-by-side image that showed before and after her weight loss. Captioning the photo, Jelena offered an inspirational sentiment about body positivity. 'What is the difference between the two images??? Nothing except what you see on the outside. My BODY SIZE,' she began. 'I am the same hardworking person, respectful, generous, empathetic, compassionate, humble, kind, driven, strong, resilient, capable and loving person, woman and friend. 'What really matters is not different.' Jelena urged her followers to look beyond the superficial and not judge people based on their size. 'Instead, appreciate and focus on what is on the inside,' Jelena wrote. 'Beauty has nothing to do with looks. It's how you are as a person. It's how you make others feel especially about themselves. 'No beauty shines brighter than that of a kind heart. Let your eyes see souls and not bodies. And never body shame anyone.' Jelena recently revealed she had lost 20kg in 10 months after having an eating disorder for two decades. Posting to Instagram last year, the commentator shared a post comparing her current appearance with how she looked back in 2023. In the caption, she stressed that she was happy in both pictures, adding that weight loss was not the goal but simply a 'byproduct' of adopting healthier habits. 'This is about HEALTH and not SIZE,' she continued. 'So many questions about me getting healthier, which has seen me lose weight. Weight loss was not a priority; it's a byproduct of looking after my health.' Some had raised the dangers of crash-dieting, but Jelena responded: 'I didn't lose weight quickly. I lost 20 kilos in just under 10 months. Nothing fast.' Jelena explained she had lost the weight because of 'a family history of diabetes ' and having been recently diagnosed with high blood pressure. She also revealed how she did it: 'I stopped eating late at night, especially things like burgers, pizza, fries and desserts.

MobLand's future on TV revealed after first series got rave reviews from fans

THE future of hit show MobLand has been revealed after becoming a runaway streaming success. Fans have been tuning into the gripping drama in their droves on Paramount+. 4 4 Featuring an eclectic cast including Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, it is no wonder that the show has become such a huge hit. Now, it has been confirmed that it will be back for a second series after becoming Paramount+'s second biggest show ever - just trailing behind Landman. The streamer revealed that the show had been viewed 26 million times globally in the 70 days since its premiere. Confirming the second series, Chris McCarthy, one of Paramount Global's three CEOs and president of MTV Entertainment said: 'With more than 26 million viewers and climbing, MobLand has become a resounding triumph — driven by the creative brilliance of Guy, Jez, Ronan and David Glasser, and brought to life by the powerhouse performances of Tom, Pierce, and Helen. 'We are elated to greenlight a second season of this global phenomenon, which has dominated both domestic and international charts and soared to #1 in the UK.' In MobLand, Pierce takes the role of Irishman Conrad Hannigan, whose wife Maeve is played by Helen. The pair head up a criminal family in London. However, a dramatic end involving Tom Hardy's character Harry appears to have got viewers hooked on the idea of more episodes - something which has now been confirmed as a reality. In a shock move, Harry's loyal wife Jan stabbed him in the chest in a fit of rage while chopping carrots in the kitchen. Pierce Brosnan's wife Keely shows off weight loss transformation as they join the cast of MobLand on the red carpet Fans think this cliffhanger ending proves why the show must return - to find out whether he survives. Sharing various thoughts on how series two will play out, one said: "I saw a post about the ending being bad and Harry getting stabbed being a way for Tom Hardy to leave, but I feel like what followed after the stabbing was kind of a wink that nothing is going to happen to him. "Harry is definitely the cherry on top of the cake and the showrunners are not oblivious to that. "If the show has a season 2, Harry will be in there and he would've survived." Someone else added: "After enjoying the S1 finale, it appears we have our new antagonists to go up against Harry and Kevin: Kat and Eddie in series two. "Eddie is more f****d up than we thought! Choking your own mother to death is pretty heinous." 4

Katy Perry left sprawling on the floor as Robert Irwin drops her after the pop star asked him to dance during visit to Australia Zoo

Katy Perry made fast friends with Robert Irwin. The son of late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin took the American pop star on a tour around his Australia Zoo. During the outing, Katy got up close and personal with a variety of Aussie wildlife including a kangaroo, koala and wombat. The 40-year-old then charmed Robert, 21, by engaging him in a little dance, with the two sharing a waltz in videos shared to social media. 'I heard Robert Irwin was going to be on Dancing With The Stars so I thought maybe we should do a practise run here at the Australia Zoo' Katy said. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'I love it! I'm ready!' Robert said, before taking Katy's hands so they could do a turn around the room. Katy then suggested a dip, but Robert dropped her, with Katy sprawled on the floor as she joked, 'Maybe stick to the animals'. It comes after news that Orlando Bloom has joined Katy and their daughter Daisy Dove, five, in Australia amid rumours of trouble in their relationship. The actor, 48, was spotted spending time with his little girl Daisy in Perth on Sunday. Father and daughter were joined by members of his entourage, including a man who appeared to be a security guard. Katy, who performed at the Perth RAC Arena that night, did not join the group. Ever the doting dad, Orlando carried Daisy on his shoulders as they took at a stroll around the city's CBD. Orlando's trip Down Under comes after reports that Katy and Orlando are set to have serious conversations about the state of their relationship. From her controversial Blue Origin space flight to her absence from their Montecito, California, home due to her world tour – things have been a bit rough for the longtime couple lately. And while rumours may be circulating about the demise of their nearly decade-long relationship, an insider told The Sun 'no one has decided it's definitely the end of the road for Katy and Orlando.' 'They both love each other, but they have been living different lives for at least a year and in different mindsets,' a source told the publication. 'But Katy especially doesn't want to just give up,' the source continued. Katy has been in Australia for the entire month of June, with the last performance of her Lifetimes Tour Down Under on June 30 in Adelaide. Her tour has caused the 'biggest disruption' in her home life with the Lord of the Rings star. The source said: 'Katy and Orlando have been disconnected for a while now, and with their work commitments have been living separate lives. 'She has mentioned jetting back from Australia to spend time with Orlando, Daisy, her sister Angela and her kids. 'I heard Robert Irwin was going to be on Dancing With The Stars so I thought maybe we should do a practise run here at the Australia Zoo' Katy said 'They have barely been together for a decent amount of time, without distractions, for many, many months. 'It has been "go, go, go" and they thrived when they enjoyed a more settled life, being together in the same place for a length of time. But that has just not happened.' Additionally, Orlando wasn't in favour of Katy's Blue Origin space flight. However, in spite of their disagreements and obstacles, the source insisted it isn't all over for the couple. 'It is quite a lot more complicated than that. They have been apart for their longest amount of time since they have been together. 'But there is still a huge amount of love between them, and there is still hope that they can ride out this rough patch. 'Anyone in long-term relationships goes through challenges, and many times when things appear to be done, couples reconnect and make things work.' Despite recent tensions, the source remains optimistic: 'The type of people they are, there still remains a lot of hope. Katy has never been happier in her life than with Orlando.' 'If this reunion can revive those times, then they could come through this.' It is unknown if Katy is also set to fly to Venice, Italy for the wedding of Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos. The guest list is thought to have fewer than 200 people, with suspected guests including A-listers like Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy and Orlando and members of the Trump family. The Amazon boss has booked the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, one of the largest and grandest buildings in the historical center of Venice, as part of the multi-day-long extravaganza of celebrations.
