Campbell 'working hard' to open gym that can 'inspire'
The 30-year-old first spoke of her desire to open a gym after she claimed an Olympic bronze medal in the women's +81kg category at the 2024 Paris Games.
Since claiming that second Olympic medal - having won silver at the Tokyo Games - Campbell has made history as the first British weightlifter to win five consecutive European titles.
She collected her latest gold medal in the +87kg category in Chisinau, Moldova, on Monday and by Wednesday said she was looking for a venue to set up her sporting venture in her home city of Nottingham.
"My big aim is to get a strength gym opening in Nottingham sometime soon," Campbell told BBC East Midlands Today.
"I'm working really hard in the background to get the wheels in motion.
"I definitely need some support from Nottingham in finding a premises. So if there is anybody out there in the council that could help me out that would be fantastic."

When Campbell made history as the first British woman to win an Olympic weightlifting medal at the Tokyo Games in 2021, she did so helped by the support of the community she grew up in.
The efforts of friends and family who spent years helping her raise money to train and compete when funding was scarce, before her breakthrough success in Japan catapulted her to sporting stardom, is something that continues to drive her.
"It feels like I have given a present back to everyone in my community that helped me out and believed in me when maybe the wider world didn't," said Campbell.
"It still means the world to me."
While establishing herself as one of Britain's finest ever weightlifters has been Campbell's way of repaying the faith put in her, she is now looking to use the profile her collection of Olympic, Commonwealth Games and European medals has given her to give back.
Campbell has long used the sport she has conquered, and the attention it has brought, as a way to promote body positivity.
Running a gym in the city she was raised in is how she now wants to make a direct impact on people's lives.
Making it a "humble facility" that is "accessible to everyone" - from beginners to those looking to advance in the sport - is her ambition.
"I hope people watch our sport and see that you can be 45kg and 4ft 11in, or be like me, nearly 6ft and 130kg, and you can still perform to a high level," said Campbell.
"There is a weight category for everybody in our sport and I think that definitely inspires more people to realise they fit in a lot more than they think they do."

Serie A 2025/26 Predictions: Title Race, Top-Four Contenders, Relegation and Golden Boot
The 2025/26 Serie A season begins on Saturday, and a three-way race for the title is likely to take shape. Antonio Conte did the unthinkable in his first season at Napoli as the Partenopei wrestled back the Scudetto from Inter Milan in one of the most dramatic title races in recent memory. Despite an unimpressive last season, El Toro is arguably the most complete centre-forward in Italy's top flight, with the entire Inter squad focused on supplying him with opportunities. Lukaku could challenge his former partner in crime now that he has De Bruyne behind him. The 32-year-old striker was central to Napoli's title win last season, though he managed just 14 goals. With Conte building the team around his favourite goal-scorer, an improvement on last year's tally looks like a virtual certainty for the Belgian star. Roma's Artem Dovbyk is a potential dark horse, while no one would dare to rule David out of the race after everything he did in Ligue 1 over the past five years. Oliver Bearman found his F1 confidence after Haas Silverstone upgrades
Formula 1 rookie Oliver Bearman believes it is 'crazy' how much his confidence has changed since Haas brought an upgrade package to the British Grand Prix in July. The American outfit fitted a revised floor and new sidepod inlets, which made an immediate impact as Bearman recorded his highest qualifying position of the year with eighth. Although he eventually finished 11th in Sunday's race, largely due to a 10-place grid drop for ignoring red flags in practice, next time out in Belgium he ended an eight-round point-less streak. Bearman ended his drought by finishing seventh in the sprint race, also his starting position, and could have claimed further points in the grand prix had an engine issue and poor strategy not limited him to 11th. The 20-year-old nevertheless continued his fine form into Hungary, where he outqualified veteran team-mate Esteban Ocon - but a mechanical failure then ended Bearman's race. Yet the improvement of the rookie across the last three race weekends is evident after a tough start to the year, which left Bearman bottom out of the drivers that have raced since the Australia opener. Oliver Bearman, Haas F1 Team 'I haven't found my confidence until we brought the Silverstone upgrade to the car,' said Bearman, who has eight points in 2025. 'Since then, I've had a really good feeling, and I've been able to replicate that feeling - and that's crazy. 'You can't describe it, but you chase it, you chase it, you chase it and when you can have it, it's very special.' So, when asked if he thinks the upgrade is a 'proper start' to his campaign, Bearman agreed that it was and is optimistic about what he can achieve across the final 10 race weekends. 'It's a car that I feel fully comfortable in,' he added. 'Of course, I tried to feel as comfortable as possible in the previous car, but it's difficult when the balance is tough. Now we've managed to replicate that and from now, I think we can do a lot with this car.' The aim for the rest of 2025 is therefore simple, with Bearman keen to continue his recent momentum and help ninth-placed Haas in a very tight midfield battle.
