Leto, 53, has denied all accusations through his representatives. In response to the Airmail report, his team stated that there had been no misconduct, inappropriate communication, or recruitment. They also emphasised that Leto has been sober for over 35 years and that claims suggesting otherwise are 'demonstrably false.'

Another woman, also 16 at the time, claimed that after a brief meeting at a Los Angeles cafe, Leto began calling her late at night. She told Airmail that he repeatedly contacted her for weeks, and the calls turned sexually suggestive.
A third woman alleged that Leto began asking her sexual questions when she was still underage. After she turned 18, she claims he exposed himself, masturbated in front of her, and forced her to touch him. She also stated that she was not the youngest girl at his parties, some of which allegedly encouraged underage guests to skinny-dip—though a promoter who helped organise those events told Airmail he never witnessed such behaviour.
These testimonies came to light shortly after a DJ reposted a 2012 Facebook status on Instagram last month, where she accused Leto of acting inappropriately when she was 17. She described his actions as predatory. After going public, she shared over 50 responses from other individuals claiming to have had similar experiences, some reportedly as young as 14 to 16 at the time of their encounters with the actor.
