2 dead, 4 injured in fire at e-charging station in Delhi's Shahdara
The Delhi Fire Department said they received a call from the e-charging station on Sunday morning reporting a fire at the site. Fire tenders were immediately dispatched to douse the blaze.
Two charred bodies were recovered from the spot, and four persons who sustained injuries were rushed to the GTB hospital.
The charging station, under a tin shed area of approx 400 square yards, was completely damaged.

Ahmedabad police have arrested a madrasa maulana on charges of sexually abusing a minor boy over a period of one and a half years. The accused, Noor Hasan Mohammad Ibrahim Hazrat, was taken into custody by Sarkhej police after a complaint was filed regarding repeated sexual exploitation at the Faizan-e-Halima Mosque in Haji victim, a Class 7 student residing in Sarkhej Makarba and studying at a school in Juhapura, had been attending Quran lessons at the mosque along with his to the complaint, the abuse came to light three days ago when the boy returned home from the madrasa and complained of stomach pain. His parents took him to a doctor, where the boy disclosed that he had been sexually abused by Maulana Noor Hasan Mohammad Ibrahim Hazrat. 'When the parents questioned him further, he said that when he went to the madrasa, there were five or six students there. The Maulana asked him to stop after teaching him and took him to the upstairs room where he sexually abused him,' the report said. The boy also revealed that the maulana had threatened to punish him in class and beat him if he spoke about the accused, originally from Uttar Pradesh, had been living in the mosque for the past two and a half years and teaching Quran-e-Sharif to children in the area. During this time, he allegedly abused the boy 20 to 25 the registration of the case, maulana absconded. However, police tracked and arrested him using technical surveillance. Jaipur Police arrested a woman and her lover for killing her husband. The murder plot was inspired by crime shows like CID. In a chilling case reported from Rajasthan's Jaipur, a woman allegedly killed her husband with the help of her lover and dumped the body near a football ground. This is the second such incident reported from Rajasthan in a couple of days. Earlier this month, 35-year-old Manoj Kumar Raigar's body was found, his throat was slit. In the preliminary investigation, police could not find anything substantial. As per a report by India Today, on investigating the CCTV footage, Manoj was seen sitting in an E-rickshaw along with another man. On investigating this angle, police focused on Rishi Srivastava, the victim's friend and his wife's lover. Upon being questioned, Rishi confessed and told the police that he conspired with the two men to kill Manoj. The accused used different SIM cards to orchestrate the murder. Both the wife and her lover are now arrested. In another case reported from Jaipur on Tuesday, a woman and her lover were arrested in connection with the murder of her husband in Kheirathal Tijara district. As per the police, Laxmi Devi, the wife of Hansram, and her lover Jitendra Sharma, the son of the married couple's landlord, were held Monday night after being absconding. After killing the husband, the duo dumped his body in a plastic tank. They absconded and after being caught, they confessed to the crime during questioning. The incident that took place in the Kishangarhbas Police Station area came to light on Sunday. Superintendent of Police Manish Chaudhary said the two were detained from a brick kiln in Alwada village of Alwar district. 'Initial investigations indicate that Laxmi and Jitendra plotted the murder in a bid to conceal their affair. The victim, Hansram, was killed on the night of August 15. The body was later found inside a blue plastic drum on the roof of their rented accommodation," SP was quoted as saying by PTI. Cops relax loudspeaker timings for festivals, but put volume cap
Nagpur: The Nagpur city police announced exemptions for extended loudspeaker use from 6am to midnight on August 27 (Ganesh Chaturthi), August 29 (Gauri Visarjan), September 5 (Eid-e-Milad), and September 6 (Anant Chaturdashi). "These exemptions, however, are strictly conditional on compliance with the high court's noise pollution guidelines," said CP Ravinder Singal. According to the high court's orders, permissible sound levels are capped at 55 decibels in residential areas and 50 decibels in silence zones, such as areas near hospitals, schools, colleges, and courts. The use of loudspeakers and musical instruments require prior permission and are generally allowed only between 6am and 10pm, except on exempted days. During processions, organisers must comply with these limits, particularly in silence zones, and avoid using loudspeakers or raising slogans near religious places during prayer times, cops said. Violators face fines, equipment seizure, and legal action under the Maharashtra Police Act and Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000.
