The awkward moments you missed from the Love Island finale - from 'jealous exes' Harrison and Emma's 'bitter' reactions to Harry's seething response to swipe from Shakira's mum
The loved-up pair beat Shakira Khan, 22, and Harry Cooksley, 30, to the top spot, while Yasmin Pettet, 24, and Jamie Rhodes, 26, placed third, and Ty Isherwood, 23, and Angel Swift, 26, came fourth.
But some viewers may have missed some very awkward moments that happened during the finale that was filmed live from Mallorca.
One specific moment is when Toni's ex Harrison Solomon, 22, rolls his eyes when she made a comment about his behaviour during the show.
Maya pointed out: 'You did say that you learnt a lot being in here...'
'That's for damn sure,' Toni replied.
An intrigued Maya continued: 'What has been the biggest lesson for you do you reckon?'
Toni replied: 'Don't put up with sh**ty men.'
The camera then went to Harrison sitting with partner Lauren Wood, 26, at a table in the audience.
The footballer rolled his eyes a number of times shortly after she made the dig at him.
The crowd cheered in support of her and then he mocked the cheers by joining in.
He then rolled his eyes again when she revealed to the audience that Cach had dropped the L-Bomb.
Those watching at home rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their shock.
'Look at Harrison pretending to clap.'
'Harrison and Lauren can keep rolling their eyes.'
Another former flame of one of the finalists made some very good television.
Maya popped over to Boris Vidovic, 28, and Emma Munro, 30, to chat about Emma's ex Harry.
'Harry was a big part of your story in the villa, now he's in the final, with Shakira. Do you see a change in him finally?' Maya asked.
Emma didn't give an answer straight away and just said: 'Um' to which Maya said: 'Oh.'
She continued: 'No I do. I think his relationship with Shakira is very different to the one with Helena and myself.
'I think it's normal though. Shakira is her own woman. We're different. We're different people, it would be weird if it was the same.'
'Is this a new leaf for him now?' Maya asked.
Emma said: 'Hopefully. But I won't hold my breath...'
Those watching at home were shocked at her words, with one saying on social media: 'Emma just needs to learn to give her opinion without sounding like a bitter jealous ex.'
'Emma is obsessed with Harry lmao she is his biggest hater - Its giving JEALOUS and BITTER.'
'One thing about Emma though, I don't think she likes the fact that Harry doesn't care for her opinion… she comes off a little bitter.'
Not only that, Harry made a swipe about his new girl's mum.
Just seconds before the winners were announced, Maya said: 'All your families came in, do you [Shakira] think your mum would give Harry a hug?'
Shakira said: 'I mean... that would be a miracle. I don't know. I need to speak to her.'
Harry added: 'I think she will. I think she would.'
He continued: 'I heard she's done a nice TikTok of me...'
Shakira looked over at the footballer VERY awkwardly.
Maya told him: 'Maybe, I haven't seen yet.'
'I've heard, I've heard,' Harry told the host.
Many rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their confusion on how he knew about the posts.
'Harry knows what Shakira's mum has been doing on TikTok. Guess it's the last night and that.'
'How does Harry know whats happening on TikTok? '
'Where did Harry hear about Sukina's tiktok abt him?'
Many rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their confusion on how he knew about the posts
Toni has made history as the first American contestant to enter the UK Love Island villa and her and Cach seem set on making their relationship work despite the transatlantic distance.
And fans seemed delighted with the decision as they took to Twitter to wish the couple congratulations.
They penned: 'Justice served well done Toni & Cach... what a gentleman man he is';
'Congratulations Toni and Cach. First American and she won. Iconic moves';
'A bombshell + a casa boy winning love island - iconic!'; 'Love island didn't disappoint with Cach & Toni winning';
'Toni was her true authentic self'; 'Amazing winners - hats off to the producers for an elite season of #loveisland'.
Others teased how funny it was that Harrison was there to watch Toni win the 50k after previously leaving her for Lauren.
They penned: 'Harrison had to watch Toni win 50k' 'Forget there were there, the win makes it even better'.
Fans seemed delighted with the decision as they took to Twitter to wish the couple congratulations
Shakira and Harry have had a rollercoaster journey in the villa with Harry's roaming eye causing plenty of upset.
While the pair were originally coupled up, it wasn't long before his head was turned and he snuck off to the Hideaway with Helena.
After changing his mind once again, he returned to Helena after the pair claimed to have a 'undeniable connection'.
However after Harry discovered Shakira's feelings for her hadn't gone away, Harry recoupled with the 22-year-old, claiming his relationship with Helena was more friendship.
Angel was the final bombshell in this year's series, only entering the villa two weeks ago where she immediately hit it off with Casa Amor boy Ty.
The pair have gone from strength to strength despite Blu's attempt to turn her head earlier this week.
It comes after Meg and Dejon became the latest couple to be dumped from the Love Island villa after the ex-Islanders had their say.
And during AfterSun on Sunday evening, Dejon admitted he has been 'reflecting on his actions' since leaving the villa.
The hunk came under fire for his behaviour towards Meg, after keeping her around but continuously flirting with every bombshell that entered the villa.
While they are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend, they had a tumultuous time on the series - which this year has even been acknowledged in a Women's Aid statement.
The charity accused some men on the show of 'showcasing toxic male behaviour' as well as 'gaslighting' and 'manipulating'.
Speaking on Love Island Aftersun, Dejon, 26, told Maya Jama: 'It was interesting the way that we got dumped, because I feel like the decisions were definitely… you kind of heard from both people's point of view.
'Some people saw bad things and some people saw good things. So it definitely made me in this time of being like reflect on my actions over the villa.
'Coming in, I just thought, I'm on Love Island. I'm gonna explore connections, I'm gonna be flirty, I'm gonna see what my strongest connection was.
'But in the back of my head, I always knew it was Meg, so I definitely see why that kind of… there's a lot of opinions about that, and I feel like I could have explored connections with being less flirty and stuff.'
The professional footballer added: 'I definitely understand why people have their opinions regarding that, and even there's times that, honestly, she's stuck by me, and she tells me how she feels, and she stuck by me more than more than she should. More than I deserve a lot of times.'

Love Island's Sam Thompson makes brutal dig at Harry Cooksley after final
Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley were named as the runner-up couple on Love Island last night during the live final, with Toni Laites and Cach Mercer instead winning the show Aftersun panelist Sam Thompson has shared his thoughts on Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley having missed out on winning Love Island. It comes after they were named as the runner-up couple on the reality TV show last night. Shakira, 22, and Harry, 30, placed second in the final after coupling up again less than two weeks. They had previously been involved in a love triangle and Harry has expressed regret over some of his behaviour prior to their recent reconcilation. Some fans have suggested that Shakira would have won if she hadn't been coupled-up with Harry. Love Island fan and companion show panelist Sam, 33, has shared his thoughts whilst discussing the outcome of the live final. Former Made in Chelsea star Sam told the Sun that Shakira was "slightly held back". He told the outlet: "Shakira was slightly held back by Harry yeah, but do you know what he had a bit of a personality transplant at the end." He suggested that Harry is "madly in love" with Shakira, adding that he doesn't believe that will change. Sam told the outlet recently: "They'll come out and he'll see how well she's doing and probably even more in love with her." Sam said that he suspects they will "go strong for a while". He went on to say that Shakira could have won but praised winners Toni Laites, 24, and Cach Mercer, 24. He said: "She could've won it, but I think Toni and Cach are amazing." Shakira and Harry spoke about their relationship after the final. They had been part of a love triangle in the villa, with Harry having also pursued a romance with Helena Ford, 29, prior to his most recent coupling up with Shakira. Asked if they thought they would end up back together, Shakira said: "It was in my dolly daydreams but I didn't think it would be on the cards." Harry said: "I didn't think it was ever reciprocated how I felt. I always wanted it but I just had to bury my emotions and feelings for Shakira because I didn't think there was any going back." Shakira said it had been "tough" as she "wanted him so badly" but had a "battle" between her head and her heart. She added: "If this has taught me anything, it's that I lose in that situation when I let my pride and ego win." Discussing regrets, Harry said: "I definitely regret some of the ways I handled a lot of situations. I think I have learned from them. The main thing was not following my heart when I knew I should have. And not having more time together as a couple." Love Island Series 12 is available on ITVX.
