Saurabh Shukla, Ranvir Shorey lead dark gangster comedy series, deets inside
On Friday, the trailer of the series was unveiled. It gave a sneak peek into the deadly dynamics within the Davan family. When Bada Davan, head of the family and Bindya's rising political force, is arrested just as he's about to launch his political career, it sparks a hilarious yet dangerous chain of events within the household.
Seema Biswas, Sushant Singh, Sheeba Chaddha, Sai Tamhankar, Tanishtha Chatterjee, Vineet Kumar, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Aakash Dahiya will also be seen in key roles.
Sharing insights about his character Bada Davan, Saurabh Shukla shared, "This series brilliantly captures the bizarre ways families function when power is at stake. Bada Davan is a man of contradictions. He's feared, respected, and often hilariously misunderstood by his own kin. What I love about Bindiya Ke Bahubali is that it never takes itself too seriously, yet has moments of real insight into human nature. It's mad, it's layered, and it was an absolute joy to bring this character to life on screen."
Ranvir Shorey, who essays the role of Chhote Davan in the series, highlighted, "What makes Bindiya Ke Bahubali so exciting is the tightrope it walks between danger and absurdity. The writing is smart, the world is twisted, and every character has their own agenda. My character, Chhote, is stuck in a storm he thinks he can control, but the real battle is inside his own family. Stepping into his shoes allowed me to explore comedy in crisis, and I think audiences are in for a wild ride."

In fact, yesterday, Manoj, Inspector Zende and I were all together. We showed some scenes of the film to Inspector Zende and he was in complete awe. He said, 'Manoj is looking just like me'. So, I don't think there can be a bigger compliment than this. There can't be a bigger certificate than this. We made a film on made a film on his bravery and his story." The film is directed and written by Chinmay D. Mandlekar. It is jointly produced by Jay Shewakramani and Om Raut. Audience will be able to watch Om Raut's film on Netflix from September 5 onwards. Rajinikanth's 50 Years in Cinema: Madurai fan decorates temple with 5,500 posters ahead of 'Coolie' release

As per an ANI post, Karthik built the Arulmigu Sri Rajini Temple and positioned it adjacent to Karthik's home in 2023. The temple is a space completely devoted to the legacy of Rajinikanth, Rajini. To honour the 'Coolie' star, Karthik conducted a true special Abhishekam, which was bathing Rajinikanth's idol in milk and water, and other sacred things, and chanting of mantras that is traditionally a common ritual for deities. Inside the Arulmigu Sri Rajini Temple The temple houses a 250-kg statue of Rajinikanth. Speaking in an earlier interview with the agency, Karthik explained his motivation, "For us, 'Rajinikanth' is God. I have built a temple for him as a mark of respect." This recent decoration with thousands of posters is just another chapter in his ongoing adoration for the cinema icon. Rajinikanth's Movie Career Rajinikanth's acting career started in the mid-1970s, and he has been a cultural phenomenon loved by audiences of all ages. Currently, the actor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action drama, 'Coolie', directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. About the film 'Coolie' stars Rajinikanth as Deva, an old daily wage worker with a dark and mysterious past, who stands up against a corrupt syndicate exploiting the workers in a coastal port town. The film stars some of the biggest stars, including Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Aamir Khan in key roles. The film also features a cameo appearance by Pooja Hegde in a song named 'Monica'. It will be released in multiple languages on August 14. The film will clash with YRF's 'War 2', which stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani.
