Katy Perry Suffers Mid-Air Prop Malfunction During San Francisco Concert
The 12x Grammy nominee was riding around the venue on a huge mechanical butterfly during Friday's show when the rig it was hanging from malfunctioned and jerked to one direction, likely giving the 143 artist some whiplash.

Videos on social media show Perry pausing the her 2013 single 'Roar' as she gets her balance, before resuming the lyrics.
Perry later poked fun at the aerial mishap, sharing a screenshot of her terrified mid-air face to her Instagram Story. 'Good night San Fran,' she wrote.
The Lifetimes Tour kicked off in Mexico City in April, in support of Perry's seventh studio album 143, marking her first concert run in seven years.

Perry's death-defying performance comes after Beyoncé suffered a similar scare at her Houston show last month, when her flying car prop tilted to one side, mid-air.
