Netanyahu: There is no starvation in Gaza
ALBAWABA - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared a video denying the starvation in Gaza, despite the reports and videos circulating the internet stating otherwise.
Netanyahu wrote in the video's caption, "There is no starvation in Gaza, no policy of starvation in Gaza, and I assure you that we have a commitment to achieve our war goals."
He added, "We will continue to fight till we achieve the release of our hostages and the destruction of Hamas' military and governing capabilities. They shall be there no more." Netanyahu: There is no starvation in Gaza

The video in question was met with outrage from human rights activists who accused the prime minister of spreading propaganda and continuing the aggression on Gaza, despite rising famine.
A social media user wrote on X under the video, "Our eyes tell us the opposite."
Another Israeli social media user added, showcasing discontent with the current government, "You are a war criminal. STOP the war. Bring back all the hostages. Resign."
The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip has resulted in the killing of at least 59,000 Palestinians and the injuring of more than 144,000. Additionally, the starvation in Gaza has left 147 people dead, of whom 88 are children.

Hamas must surrender Gaza control, disarm: Palestinian PM
Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa called on Hamas to cede control of the Gaza Strip and hand over its weapons to the Palestinian Authority during remarks at the United Nations High-Level International Conference on "The peaceful settlement of the question of Palestine and the implementation of the two-state solution." Speaking on Monday, Mustafa affirmed that the State of Palestine is "the sole legitimate authority" entitled to govern Gaza. He urged an immediate end to the war, what he described as 'genocide and forced displacement,' and called for the release of captives as well as intensified mediation efforts, especially by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, to reach a ceasefire. The Prime Minister reiterated the Palestinian Authority's readiness to assume 'full responsibility for governance and security in Gaza,' warning against ongoing 'Israeli attempts to annex the West Bank.' He called on the international community to 'exert pressure on the occupying power' to halt such actions. Mustafa also emphasized the Palestinian leadership's commitment to establishing a free, sovereign, and independent Palestinian state, in line with international legitimacy. He urged countries that have yet to recognize Palestine to do so, stating that such a move is essential to supporting the two-state solution. The Palestinian leader announced his government's willingness to invite a temporary international and Arab stabilization force, under a UN Security Council mandate, to help protect Palestinian civilians and support stability in Gaza. 'We want one Palestinian state with one government and one legitimate weapon,' he said, rejecting all forms of violence and terrorism, including the targeting of civilians. Mustafa concluded by urging donor countries to convene an urgent conference to rebuild the devastated Gaza Strip, and said coordination is ongoing with Arab states to prevent the displacement of Palestinians from their homeland.

Netanyahu to propose Gaza annexation plan to appease Smotrich
"Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to propose a plan to annex parts of Gaza in a bid to prevent Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich from pulling his Religious party out of the government, Haaretz reported Monday. According to the report, the plan would see "Israel" issue a short ultimatum to Hamas, offering a few days to agree to a ceasefire. If Hamas refuses, "Israel" would then begin implementing the annexation of specific areas within Gaza. The proposal is reportedly intended to appease far-right coalition members following Netanyahu's controversial decision to increase humanitarian aid to Gaza, a move opposed by Smotrich's party.

Israeli settlers attack West Bank Christian village
OCCUPIED JERUSALEM — Israeli settlers attacked the Palestinian Christian village of Taybeh in the occupied West Bank overnight, torching cars and spray-painting threatening graffiti, a witness and the Palestinian Authority said Monday. Jeries Azar, a Taybeh resident and journalist for Palestine TV, told AFP his house and car were targeted in the pre-dawn assault. "I looked outside and saw my car on fire, and they were throwing something at the vehicle and in the direction of the house," Azar said. The Palestinian Authority issued a statement blaming "Israeli colonial settlers" for the attack on Taybeh. Azar said he was terrified and put himself in the shoes of the Dawabsheh family, a couple who burned to death with their baby after settlers attacked their West Bank village of Duma in 2015. "My greatest fear was for my two-year-old son. After we escaped, he cried nonstop for an hour", Azar said, adding that the Israeli army had surveyed the area after the attack. Israeli occupation authorities said in a joint statement that a unit was dispatched to Taybeh and reported "two burned Palestinian vehicles and graffiti". The statement said that no suspects were apprehended but that Israeli police have launched an investigation. A photo shared by a Palestinian government agency on social media showed graffiti on a Taybeh wall that read: "Al Mughayyir, you will regret", referring to a nearby village that was also attacked by settlers earlier this year. The Palestinian Authority's foreign ministry condemned the attack, calling it "settler terrorism". Germany's ambassador to Israel, Steffen Seibert, also condemned the action, writing on X: "These extremist settlers may claim that God gave them the land. But they are nothing but criminals abhorrent to any faith". Taybeh and its surroundings have experienced several bouts of settler violence in recent months, including an arson attack at an ancient Byzantine church. The village -- home to about 1,300 mostly Christian Palestinians, many holding US dual citizenship -- is known for its brewery, the oldest in the Palestinian territories. Settlers have attacked neighbouring communities in recent months, resulting in three deaths, damage to Palestinian water wells and the displacement of at least one rural herding community. Israel has occupied the West Bank since 1967. The territory is home to about three million Palestinians and around 700,000 Israeli settlers, including about 200,000 in east Jerusalem. Last week, 71 members of Israel's 120-seat parliament, or Knesset, passed a motion calling on the government to annex the West Bank.
