HOKA Taps Supervsn to Create Its Rarest Shoe to Date
Gavin Mathieu'sexploration of astro-futurist aesthetics has taken place over the years via his label,Supervsn. The Los Angeles-based brand is embracing the summer by presenting its first footwear collaboration, teaming up withHOKA. The duo has assembled three eye-catching colorways of theClifton One9sneaker, building a bridge between the two parties' distinct styles.
The everyday runner takes on colorways of 'Mantis Green,' 'Ice Grey,' and 'Neon Gold.' All three see their signature colors accompanied by silver geometry and matching heel branding, nodding to both partners. Looking closer at the 'Mantis Green' pair, it sees a green gradient present at the base of the upper, which is mirrored by its 'Neon Gold' counterpart's yellow to orange finish. This 'Neon Gold' version of the sneaker is limited to a mere 99 pairs, which makes it the rarest HOKA style ever released.
The Supervsn x HOKA Clifton One9 collection is scheduled to release on July 31 via both Supervsn and HOKA at a starting price of $165 USD per pair.

Celebs Keep Wearing These Surprisingly Affordable Sneakers—Including Hoka, Brooks, Adidas, and More From $60
I used to exclusively cover celebrity fashion, so I'm well-versed in Hollywood's most popular brands. Oftentimes, celebrity street style is unattainably high-end, but sneakers are one place where affordability shines. In fact, many celebrities wear the same sneakers I frequently spot at the airport. If you're shopping for comfortable sneakers that are stylish enough for your vacation wardrobe, celebrity-worn shoes are ideal options. We've searched high and low for the best star-studded styles, and now, we're sharing eight top picks from Hoka, Brooks, Adidas, and more. Prices start at just $60. In the past, I've been hesitant to rock all-black sneakers, but Natalie Portman has me forgetting why. These Hoka Clifton 9 GTX Sneakers are beloved for their arch support and comfortable cushioning, and thanks to the black design, they will look brand-new after countless adventures. They're available in more colorful designs, too, although I'm partial to Portman's pair that will fit seamlessly into my travel capsule wardrobe. Bellocqimages/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images / Amazon Jennifer Garner is constantly spotted in comfy Brooks sneakers, and she owns multiple pairs of the Brooks Glycerin 21 shoes. You can buy the newest version of this sneaker in 22 different colors at Amazon. One reviewer wore them for over 10 hours per day on vacation and described them as 'walking on pillows.' I love this pink colorway that reminds me of Garner's pair, but if you're shopping for sneakers that go with literally everything, the all-white version is just as stylish. Roy Rochlin / Getty Images for Prada / Amazon Pretty much every celebrity has worn Adidas Sambas by now, but I'm particularly inspired by how Katie Holmes styled them. The retro sneakers add a personal feel to an otherwise simple outfit, along with her bold pink crossbody. This look is so easy to recreate with your favorite jeans and white tee, and it's stylish enough for even the chicest summer destination. Samir Hussein/WireImage / Amazon If you're seeking style inspiration for a European vacation, Kate Middleton is a worthy muse. Her outfits are sophisticated and easy to recreate, and she is often spotted in brands T+L editors love. Case in point: these versatile Veja sneakers. The elevated cream colorway adds a sophisticated touch to any casual outfit, so these sneakers would pair well with summer dresses and denim cut-offs alike. One shopper wore them every day on a five-week European vacation and loved how comfortable they were. Plus, they are super easy to wipe clean thanks to the leather exterior. Rachpoot/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images / Amazon When I think style icon, I think of Sofia Richie, and this elevated outfit is a prime example of why. She paired the colorful Reebok Classic AZ Sneakers with pleated trousers and a patent bag, transforming these $68 sneakers into an ensemble that looks much more high-end. This retro pair wasn't on my radar before Richie sported them, but I've officially added them to my cart. One reviewer even raved that these comfortable shoes 'required no breaking in,' and they loved them so much that they purchased a second pair. I predict that these sneakers are the next big thing, so snag yours before word gets out. Instagram @reesewitherspoon / Amazon Reese Witherspoon's brand Draper James collaborated with Tretorn to design these chunky green sneakers she sported on Instagram. While her exact pair is no longer available, you can get the look at Amazon with these nostalgic canvas Tretorn sneakers. The reviews are filled with customers who loved Tretorns in the '80s, and according to one shopper, they're just as comfortable as they remember. They're unique, versatile, and perfect for summer travel. Plus, they're the most affordable celeb-worn sneaker we've found. Marc Piasecki / WireImage / Nordstrom The Puma Speedcat Og Sneakers are the latest 'it' shoe, and who better to wear them than it-girl Dua Lipa? The shoe has also been spotted on Rihanna, if that gives you any indication of its top-tier status. These sneakers are versatile enough to pair with just about anything in your wardrobe, while still looking unique enough to set you apart from your fellow travelers. They're available in 12 colors, including easy-to-style neutrals and statement hues. Michael Buckner / Variety via Getty Images / Cariuma Cariuma shoes' sleek and timeless design makes them easy to style for just about any occasion, as evidenced by Gabrielle Union sporting the Oca Low Sneakers on the red carpet. The brand has an impressive celebrity fanbase, including Helen Mirren, Naomi Watts, and Brooke Shields. These classic sneakers are comfortable enough for long travel days, with a cork footbed and slip-resistant rubber outsole. They have earned over 9,000 five-star ratings, and some reviewers even report purchasing them multiple times. Snag yours for just $89, and you'll be glad to have this timeless white sneaker in your collection. Love a great deal?
