Sevilla star wanted in Serie A this summer
A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga outfit Sevilla is drawing admiring glances by way of Serie A ahead of the summer.
That's according to Mundo Deportivo, citing Tutto Atalanta, who point towards Djibril Sow as the player in question.

Sow, for his part, is fresh off a solid if unspectacular campaign at the The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, which saw the Swiss international rack up two goals and an assist from his berth in the middle of the park.
And his efforts over the course of 30 total La Liga appearances evidently proved enough to impress one of Italian football's leading clubs.
As per a report from MD, Atalanta are expressing a keen interest in bringing Sow to Bergamo this summer.
It is also noted that Sevilla are seeking a sum in the region of €9 million for the 28-year-old, with Lille and Freiburg also in the hunt.

Real Madrid in last-minute transfer push against PSG
La Liga giants Real Madrid have repositioned themselves in the race for River Plate sensation Franco Mastantuono. That's according to transfer insider Santi Aouna, amongst others, who point towards Real as having reemerged as a leading player in the Mastantuono sweepstakes. Advertisement The name of River Plate's teenage sensation has dominated the headlines across Europe over the course of recent days. This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that Paris Saint-Germain had kicked into gear a concerted push to land Mastantuono in the summer. Some outlets, in fact, went as far as to point towards a deal between the parties as being all but imminent. Just as it appeared as though the newly-crowned Champions League winners had been afforded a free run at one of South American football's standout talents, however, a fresh twist in the tale has been touted. As per the aforementioned Santi Aouna: Advertisement 'For the moment, PSG remain the favourites in the Franco Mastantuono case. But in the last few hours, Real Madrid have made inquiries to find out whether the deal with PSG is already closed or not. The next few days will be important.' Conor Laird – GSFN

Free agent Jonathan David responds to Napoli and Juventus links 🇨🇦
Canadian striker Jonathan David has responded to rumours linking him to Serie A clubs this summer following the expiration of his contract at Lille. After scoring 109 goals in 232 games for the French club, the 25-year-old can now move on a free transfer with Serie A champions Napoli and Juventus reportedly in the mix. Advertisement However, in a new interview with The Athletic, David said "no" when asked if he currently has an agreement with either Italian club. Still, signing for high-profile clubs like Napoli or Juventus would create a challenging environment that the Canadian suggested he would enjoy. 'I want a club with ambition that wants to do something,' he said. 'Obviously, I would love to fight for titles, to win titles. A team that's competitive that has ambition, really, with a good sporting project.' '[Napoli] is a club that just won Serie A. And I'm guessing they don't just want to win Serie A one year and say, 'OK, we won, that's it.' Obviously, it's a club that's ambitious, that's going to play in the Champions League." 'I think anywhere you go, there's always pressure to perform every week, there is the pressure to keep your spot, pressure from the supporters, because obviously you have to win every game. There is always pressure anywhere you go." Advertisement And for the clubs looking to scoop his signature, David also admitted there is no set timeline for deciding on his future. "I obviously want to get something done before pre-season starts so I can get settled and have that pre-season time with my team,' he said. 'But apart from that...' 'Anything can happen, you never know what can happen. You just have to be prepared for anything.' In addition to Napoli and Juventus, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and West Ham have all been linked with signing the Canadian talent. 📸 Michael Owens - 2025 Getty Images
