He donned a specially made sports kilt as he trekked through six countries for mental health charity Brothers In Arms.
Craig, from Paisley, is now setting out on yet another walking challenge - this time attempting to walk the length of Scotland, one year after his march to Munich.
The football-daft lad wants to embark on the Scotland stride to celebrate next World Cup in North America.
Craig said: 'Exactly one year on from my walk to Germany, I think it's time for a new challenge.
'With the World Cup fastly approaching next year and everyone hoping that Scotland qualifies, in the meantime, Im away for a little wander to keep myself busy.'
He added: 'On June 14, I will start at the Mull of Galloway lighthouse, the most southerly point and make the near 400-mile journey to the most northerly point in mainland Scotland.
'I'll be walking the length of Scotland.
'As with last summer this will be raising vital funds and awareness for men's mental health and the charity of choice will again be Brothers In Arms.'
Craig's first trek to Germany raised over £77,000 and he was made an official ambassador for the charity.
He was even nominated for a FIFA Award for his monumental trek across Europe.
Hero's welcome for inspirational Scotland fan who walked 1000 miles to Munich
His trek to Germany was inspired by The Proclaimers hit song 500 miles.
The young football fan gained so much attention that the musical duo even gave him a shout out.
He received a hero's welcome after arriving in the German city, with Tartan Army fans gathering round to get him a well-deserved pint.
Craig added: 'The journey will take me along iconic routes like the West Highland Way and the Great Glen Way.
I'll be passing some of Scotland's most famous landmarks, all leading to Dunnet Head — the northernmost point on the mainland.'

Aberdeen's plan for Kusini Yengi after misfiring striker's poor Celtic show as teammates rally

Devlin says Dons have to do more in playing to Australian striker's strengths Sign up to our Football newsletter Sign up Thank you for signing up! Nicky Devlin has stressed everyone at Aberdeen needs to take responsibility in helping misfiring striker Kusini Yengi settle in Scottish football. Yengi, a summer arrival on a free transfer from Portsmouth, had another difficult game as the Dons lost 2-0 to Celtic on Sunday. After missing several good chances in Aberdeen's opening 2-0 defeat by Hearts, Yengi got little change from Celtic's centre-backs. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad His day was summed up when he made a mess of his control on a rare foray into the Celtic box late in the first half after good work from Topi Keskinen, and saw the ball run out for a goal kick. He was substituted early in the second period. Kusini Yengi was replaced after just 55 minutes against Celtic. | SNS Group Yengi, 26, did nto score for Portsmouth last season - although he did net twice for Australia in a World Cup qualifier against Bahrain. And Devlin feels it is up to all the Aberdeen players to help the target man get back on track. Devlin said: 'It's probably important for the rest of us to give him more opportunity. There were times he was having to feed off balls that weren't great quality into him. 'He was fighting against two big centre-halves, which was obviously making it difficult for him. I think we have to probably get the ball in better areas, play more to his strengths. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad 'We have to play more to his strengths' 'It's his first taste of being up here, it's only his second game in the league. It's probably more about other people doing a wee bit more to support him and getting the ball into areas that we know he can be dangerous. 'We've seen it in training already, we've seen it in some of the pre-season games. We have to play more to his strengths at times, get the ball into areas that we know he's going to hurt teams. 'We wanted to start the first home game with picking up points, but ultimately I don't think we've done enough in the game to trouble Celtic. Nicky Devlin shows his angst after Aberdeen's 2-0 defeat by Celtic. | SNS Group 'We had a couple of opportunities on the counter-attack and to be fair to Celtic, I thought they defended them really well and probably limited us to really creating almost next to nothing, to be honest with you. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad But it's something we have to obviously improve on, we know that. We have to be much more of a threat, regardless of who we're playing. It doesn't matter if you're playing Celtic or whoever, we have to be much more of a threat when we've got the ball in attacking areas.' Aberdeen sit bottom of the fledgling William Hill Premiership table but they can park the league for three weeks now because of their European duties. The Scottish Cup holders first take on Morton at Cappielow in the Premier Sports Cup second round. 'We're very well aware how difficult it will be,' Devlin said. 'But we've had a good record in cups in recent years. Since I've been here, we've got to the semi-final of every competition. It's something we want to continue. We want to get to the later stages, we want to win trophies again.

Jeremy Clarkson's partner supported by fans as she shares update after 'dreadful' news

Lisa Hogan has shared a sweet update on the puppies that were born to Jeremy Clarkson's dog Arya earlier this month, amid a devastating time for the Clarkson's Farm team Jeremy Clarkson 's partner, Lisa Hogan, has received an outpouring of love after posting a heartwarming update during a tough period for the Clarkson's Farm crew. ‌ The former Top Gear presenter, 65, recently disclosed that his Oxfordshire farm, Diddly Squat, had been afflicted with bovine tuberculosis. ‌ Compounding their troubles, Clarkson shared the sad news that one of the puppies from his dog Arya's litter had died. ‌ However, Lisa brought some cheer with her latest Instagram post, featuring a video of the playful pups being weighed, as they squirmed and frolicked. As she gently lifted each puppy, she affectionately remarked, "You're so sweet and gentle," reports Gloucestershire Live. ‌ Her caption read: "Day 13 and it's puppy weigh in day. I weigh them every 3 days, and happy to report, they are all gaining weight and wobbling around on their legs. "Comparison between Mr White (biggest) and Lady Lemon (tiny) is at the end, sorry, it's a long vid as I couldn't cut any pups out!" Fans were quick to react, with one commenting: "Ah so so sweet look at them." ‌ Another exclaimed: "Gosh they are so cute!!!" A concerned fan added: "They are all so adorable. Please look after little Lady Lemon, she is so cute." ‌ And another follower shared: "Puppies are a wild ride! Incredible to watch how fast they grow and their little personalities develop. Puppy breath is the best medicine!" Fans have been swooning over the new additions at Diddly Squat Farm, with one person commenting: "They look so lovely and lucky to have Diddly Squat to roam around," while another complimented: "They look so cute your doing an amazing job, Lisa xx." Clarkson had announced that Arya had given birth earlier this month, revealing that while the rest of the nation were celebrating England's Lionesses winning the Euros, the stars of Clarkson's Farm were more preoccupied at home. ‌ In a clip shared to Instagram, he said: "Now I know you've all been enjoying the football, but I've been rather busy if I'm honest. Because look what Arya's done." He then panned the camera to reveal the adorable puppies laying beside Arya suckling and squealing. ‌ "Yay! I mean well done Lionesses but really, really, really well done Arya." Lisa had earlier shared a similar video of the newborns, as she whispered "Well done" to their beloved dog. "Well done Arya, our lioness of 11 and to all the other champion Lionesses!! Quite the Sunday victory," she wrote in the caption. ‌ Clarkson then revealed in the comments that he played midwife, clarifying one follower who wrote: "Well done Arya and Lisa (who I'm sure was midwife!)" He replied: "Actually, I was!" "Is there anything Mr C can't do?" one fan said, while another added: "You're now a vet as well as a farmer. The list gets bigger." ‌ However, the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? presenter later revealed that one of the pups had died amid an "awful" few days, while Lisa shared a video in which she stroked Arya, writing: "Sad news this morning. Mr Grey has gone to fur and feather land." "Poor Mr Grey, I'm sorry darling," she whispered. As well as that tragedy, the farm is now closed for some time because of bovine TB, with Clarkson announcing in a sombre update: "Bad news from Diddly Squat. We've gone down with TB. Everyone here is absolutely devastated." "We're now locked down and it's just dreadful, absolutely dreadful," he later added, confirming Diddly Squat will be shut for at least two months before they can do another test, though the farm shop would remain "unaffected" by the lockdown.

First Match of the Day panel since Gary Lineker's BBC exit revealed

The first Match of the Day panel since Gary Lineker left the BBC has been revealed. Ex-England striker Lineker, 64, spent 26 years in the Match of the Day hotseat before leaving the BBC in May. The presenter announced last November that he would stop hosting the iconic football highlights show at the end of the Premier League season. Lineker was due to continue working with the BBC on their coverage of the FA Cup and next summer's World Cup but agreed to leave completely after apologising for sharing an antisemitic post on social media. The BBC have hired Mark Chapman, Gabby Logan and Kelly Cates as three new hosts of Match of the Day following Lineker's exit. In The Mixer: Exclusive analysis, FPL tips and transfer talk sent straight to your inbox every week – sign up, it's an open goal. According to the Daily Telegraph, Chapman will be given responsibility to host the first Match of the Day programme without Lineker. They say that 'barring any last-minute hitches', Chapman will be joined by new star pundit Wayne Rooney and Alan Shearer on the flagship show. The first Match of the Day of the season will be shown on Saturday night and include highlights of champions Liverpool's opening game against Bournemouth and Burnley's first game back in the top-flight. Chapman, Logan and Cates will share presenting duties across Match of the Day, which is shown on Saturday night, and Sunday night's Match of the Day 2. The BBC has signed Manchester United and England legend Rooney as a pundit on a two-year deal worth around £800,000. Despite Lineker's exit, Chapman does not expect a huge amount of change from Match of the Day going forwards. 'I know people keep saying, 'Oh, this will change, or that will change'. I genuinely don't think anything will change,' he said recently. 'It will still be showing all the highlights and having a little bit of a chat. So, if you're wanting a lot of change I suppose you're going to be a bit disappointed by it. 'I think we still do the same thing, and talk about football, and have a laugh and that'll be that.' More Trending Lineker held back tears as he signed off from his final edition of Match of the Day on the final day of last season's Premier League. 'It's been an absolute privilege to have hosted Match of the Day for a quarter of a century,' he said. 'It's been utterly joyous. Speaking directly into the camera to viewers at home, he added: 'And my final thank you goes to all of you. 'Thank you for watching, thank you for all your love and support over the years. It's been so special, and I'm sorry that your team was always on last.' For more stories like this, check our sport page. Follow Metro Sport for the latest news on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
