In a statement, the family said: "Dear Friends, Family, Survivors, and Supporters.
"First and foremost, thank you for the outpouring of love and support for our beloved Virginia.
"We know Virginia was not just a bright light to us but to many. The lives she touched, the strength, and the fight she has given us will live with us always.
"Though our family and many are experiencing an immeasurable sense of grief, we know that this will make us stronger— that is what Virginia would have wanted.
"With that, we think it is imperative that we find a way to leave her mark of legacy.
"Virginia, through her fight and testimony, was able to amass settlements, but unfortunately, through this tragedy, as many of you may know, funds and estates can take years to settle.
"While her estate is being settled in Australia, her family in America is dedicated to memorializing and celebrating her spirit.
"It is our intention with this fund that we create a public memorial not just for family but for survivors and supporters from all over to visit and share space with Virginia.
"She deserves to have a permanent mark in this world that demonstrates her lasting impact.
"Virginia was adamant about seeing real change in active legislation. One of the laws she was driven to change was the Statute of Limitations for sexual abuse.
'Statute of Limitations is a convenient law for perpetrators.'
Virginia Roberts.
"It takes years for survivors to summon the courage to come forward and express their trauma.
"The Statute often expires before, stripping them of their voice and right to pursue justice. So many survivors don't come forward because of this.
"We aim to drive that pursuit of justice and propose new legislation for change.
"It was Virginia's life's purpose to continue the fight and break the chains of silence! We will continue that mission with all our heart and soul. Together."
The tragic tributes come after Giuffre's sudden death in April, which opened a Pandora's Box of unanswered questions.
She was the most prominent victim of the notorious Epstein was found dead by police before her family revealed she had died by suicide.

Police Scotland said McVey stabbed his victim for "absolutely no reason other than his own wickedness". Sean's family have taken part in a new Channel 5 documentary on the case called Murdered At First Sight. His girlfriend Chloe McCormick told the programme she found out after his death that he was planning to ask her to marry him. The couple had a son together, Oscar, who was one year old at the time of labourer Sean's death. Chloe, 25, said: "I just miss his laugh, hearing his voice. He made everyone laugh all the time. The killer, who denied his guilt, shouted and swore and made an offensive hand gesture to the family as he was leaving the courtroom to begin his sentence. Dozens of kids missing in Virginia over just a few days - but police say not to worry

Dozens of kids have gone missing in Virginia over just a few days but police say the number is below average. Virginia State Police have been compelled to address several social media posts raising alarm about missing children across the state. 'Virginia State Police is not investigating any reports of mass abductions in Virginia, nor is there evidence of mass abductions occurring in Virginia,' VSP said in a recent news release. According to VSP data, last week there were 88 children reported missing to the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse, a center for missing child cases. This is below the 2025 weekly average of missing children in Virginia, which stands at 98 kids. State police said most missing children are runaways, and most of them 'return shortly after being reported missing.' Since January, 3,274 children have been reported missing to the clearinghouse, and as of Wednesday, 141 are still missing. State police explained Virginia reports more missing children than other states on the National Center for Missing and Exploited Kids website because it forwards every missing child case, instead of many other clearinghouses that post their cases to their own website. Virginia authorities also used two alert programs known as the CODI and Amber alerts. To activate a CODI Alert, the child's disappearance must be 'under suspicious circumstances or poses a credible threat as determined by law enforcement to the safety and health of the child,' state police explained. An Amber Alert is issued when authorities believe the child has been abducted and is 'in imminent danger of serious bodily harm or death,' according to state police. This year, 25 CODI Alerts and two Amber Alerts were issued, and all of the children were found, the news release said. State police shared some tips for parents to keep their children safe. 'Make sure your child knows not to accept rides from strangers and not to trust a stranger who suggests they go off alone together for any reason,' authorities said. Parents should also never leave their child alone in the car, 'even for a minute,' and they should tell their children 'to let you know immediately if another adult suggests keeping secrets from you,' according to the news release.

And we can reveal he was working for cash before coming across the Channel to get bed and board for free. German asylum seekers are able to apply for work permits after three months to earn money in lieu of support. After 15 months, if their claim has not been processed, they can work any role without restrictions. Hanifyar, in his 20s, is believed to have been sacked in mid-December. In a letter seen by The Sun, a manager said: 'We hereby terminate your employment with Munchies during the probationary period.' A source said: 'He was dismissed due to a lack of language skills and repeated unpunctuality. 'He didn't act professionally and was terminated before probation.' We can also reveal he had been living in charity-funded 'refugee accommodation' on the outskirts of Berlin's Märkisch-Oderland. It means he had both a home and access to work in Germany — but still chose to ditch it for the UK.
