Body camera video shows the moment stampede broke out after Beyoncé concert
MARTA police say nine people were injured after the final Atlanta show of Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter' tour on Monday night. One man broke his ankle.

Channel 2 Action News has obtained video from several angles that show the moments hundreds of people started running inside the Vine City MARTA station.
Police say the stampede started after someone saw a bug, screamed and began running, causing others to start running as well.
Video shows a group of people waiting for the train when people come down the escalator.
It was initially reported that the escalator suddenly stopped, causing several people to fall. MARTA has since confirmed that the escalator did not malfunction and was working properly.
The body camera video then shows dozens of people on the ground, many of whom are receiving first aid from those around them.
No serious injuries were reported.

Joy was something she desperately needed. IVF is not only physically and emotionally grueling — it's financially draining. Each round of treatment cost thousands, and for a single teacher in her late 30s, that meant real sacrifice. By the fall of 2024, after multiple rounds, Victoria faced the reality that her IVF journey had reached its end. 'It was heartbreaking,' she says, 'but I also knew I had to preserve my mental health.' Rather than give up on the idea of becoming a parent, she pivoted again — this time toward adoption. But that path isn't cheap either. 'When you factor in agency fees, legal costs, and travel, adoption can run upwards of $60,000,' she says. So, once again, the headbands — and the joy they bring to others — have become her unexpected lifeline. Ethics officials say Georgia PAC tied to Ponzi scheme illegally sought to influence elections
ATLANTA — Georgia's Ethics Commission says a political action committee linked to what federal investigators have called a Ponzi scheme illegally sought to influence elections. The complaint, filed Wednesday, says the spending came from the now-dissolved Georgia Republican Assembly PAC between 2021 and 2024. The committee was headed by Edwin Brant Frost V, the son of a man named in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission lawsuit as heading a scheme that took at least $140 million from hundreds of investors. A company named First Liberty Building & Loan promised investors big returns from making high-interest loans to businesses with short-term cash needs, but the SEC complaint says Edwin Brant Frost IV skimmed $17 million for himself, his relatives and their affiliated companies.
