The retailer has unveiled its first seated mannequin designed to represent a manual wheelchair user.
Named 'Sophie', the mannequin was inspired by and co-created with British TV presenter, disability advocate and wheelchair user, Sophie Morgan.
It will initially launch in 22 flagship stores across nine countries, including UK stores like Oxford Street East, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, and Leeds.

'Sophie' will take centre stage in displays showcasing Primark's Adaptive range, which is a fashion collection designed specifically for those with disabilities, alongside its main fashion ranges.
Ann-Marie Cregan, trading director at Primark, said: 'This is another important milestone in our ambition to make Primark a more accessible place to shop and work.
"From introducing a wider range of mannequins to launching our Adaptive clothing range earlier this year, we've worked hard to better represent the diverse communities who shop with us.
"Seeing the 'Sophie' mannequin in our stores is a proud moment and a reflection of the brilliant collaboration between our teams and Sophie.'
Sophie Morgan, co-creator of the mannequin, said: 'This project is incredibly close to my heart - it's been over 15 years in the making.

"To now walk into a major high street retailer like Primark and see a mannequin that looks like me is deeply emotional.
"'Sophie' represents more than just a mannequin, she's a symbol of progress and visibility."
Primark is actually an Irish brand that was founded in the country in 1969 under the Penneys brand, the retailer's website explains.

'Ladies of Llangollen' cutlery to go to Cambridge auction

The set will be sold at Cheffins' Jewellery, Silver, Watches and Wine Sale on August 21, with an estimated value of £800 to £1,200. The Ladies of Llangollen, Lady Eleanor Butler and Sarah Ponsonby, were an aristocratic Irish couple who captured the imagination of Regency-era Britain through their lifelong partnership, defying social conventions and sparking intrigue across the country Lady Eleanor Butler and Sarah Ponsonby, the Ladies of Llangollen (Image: Julia Skupny and Cheffins Fine Art) Steven Collins, head of jewellery, silver and watches at Cheffins, said: "The Ladies of Llangollen's unconventional relationship captured Georgian imagination. "This is a tale of true romance, where against all odds, two women broke through societal norms to live together in what is now one of the most fascinating museums in the UK. "These items come with a cast-iron provenance, having been bought directly from the estate and then handed down through the generations. "Also, the fact that each of the pieces is marked with the Ladies' iconic joint initials helps to make this lot incredibly desirable. "Having never appeared on the open market before, I am confident that they will be of great interest to fans of Regency history and also cultural institutions throughout the UK. "It is a privilege to be able to offer these important pieces to the market, and this sale represents a chance to acquire not just fine Georgian silverware, but a powerful symbol of love, legacy, and defiance that continues to resonate nearly 250 years later." The 23-piece harlequin silver cutlery set, accompanied by ten additional pieces, is engraved with the initials of both women. The set was used at Plas Newydd, their gothic-style home in Llangollen, Wales, and is being offered for sale by a descendant of Richard Jebb. Mr Jebb, who lived in Chirk and served as land agent to the Trevor family at Brynkinalt Estate, purchased the silver at the 1832 Plas Newydd estate auction following the death of the Ladies. Lady Butler and Ms Ponsonby met in 1768 and soon formed a close romantic bond. In 1778, they fled their homes in County Kilkenny, Ireland, to escape the pressures of conventional marriage, and eventually settled in Wales. They purchased Plas Newydd in 1780 and lived there together for 50 years, becoming well-known figures in Regency society. Their home attracted visits from literary and political figures including Lord Byron, Percy Bysshe Shelley, the Duke of Wellington, Josiah Wedgwood, and William Wordsworth, who wrote a sonnet in their honour. The pair were known for their distinctive dress, donning black riding habits and men's top hats, which many considered eccentric. Lady Butler died on June 2, 1829, at the age of 90. Miss Ponsonby died two years later on December 9, 1831, aged 76. They are buried together at St Collen's Church in Llangollen. Today, Plas Newydd serves as a museum dedicated to their lives. The cutlery set is engraved with their joint initials, a feature found on many of their personal belongings, some of which are now part of the British Museum's collection.

The filings showed that the parent business reported liabilities of up to $10billion (£7billion) and owed between 25,000 and 50,000 creditors. Claire's operates 2,750 stores worldwide, including 280 in the UK. While British stores remain unaffected for now, the UK arm has lost £25million over the past three years and is at risk of collapsing into administration later this month. Globetrotting Chef Launches American-Style Diner and Sports Bar in Mid Wales

Globetrotting chef Jamie Tully has put down his roots in Llandrindod Wells where he has launched a new American-style dining experience. Jamie has swapped cooking on superyachts to launch Tully's Sports Diner at the Hampton Hotel. Open from Wednesday to Sunday, the restaurant serves a range of burgers, 'big dogs', chicken wings, quesadillas, Cubanos, meatballs, garlic chicken skewers, sticky lamb ribs, nachos and skirt steak, together with a range of sides and desserts. 'The food is flavour obsessed, ingredient led and cooked with passion,' said Jamie. 'We offer an elegant yet casual restaurant emphasising natural, sustainable food and craft exquisite dishes using the best British produce from dedicated farmers and producers.' The 100-seater restaurant is available for exclusive hire, with tailored menus and drinks packages created for group bookings. To raise awareness of Tully's Sports Diner, Jamie has joined MWT Cymru, the independent organisation representing more than 600 tourism and hospitality businesses across Powys, Ceredigion and Southern Eryri (Snowdonia). He has also opted to feature the diner in MWT Cymru's Bedroom Browser next year, which is distributed to over 6,000 accommodation rooms across Mid Wales and has taken up a new social media package for members. MWT Cymru will run a dedicated campaign for Jamie aimed at attracting more visitors to Tully's Sports Diner. 'We are obviously trying to attract as many people as possible to the restaurant, so joining MWT Cymru is an obvious way to extend our outreach,' added Jamie. 'They are very supportive.' Zoe Hawkins, MWT Cymru's chief executive, said she was delighted to welcome Tully's Sports Diner into membership. 'We are constantly developing ways to drive more traffic to support places to eat across Mid Wales,' she explained. 'We are also reintroducing a menu exchange initiative, which will allow accommodation businesses to easily access and share menus from local providers. This encourages greater business-to-business co-operation and helps visitors discover fantastic places to eat nearby, benefiting both the accommodation providers and the restaurants.' Jamie has developed the American-style diner and sports bar concept, having identified a gap in the Mid Wales market. 'The biggest thing I missed from my travels and work in the USA was a proper, food-led, bar and a place where you can watch all the American and global sports events on TV,' he said. Having previously held executive chef roles at Caer Beris Manor, Builth Wells and Chartists 1770 at The Trewythen, Llanidloes since returning form his culinary travels, Jamie was keen to launch his own venture. He employs three full and three part-time staff and would like to expand his businesses in the future by possibly opening another American style diner and sports bar and even a pop-up restaurant. 'With all the current pressure on the hospitality industry, people may think that I couldn't have picked a worse time to open a new restaurant,' added Jamie. 'But we are very busy. 'People will know my fine dining background which raises their expectations. However, a lot of people can't afford to spend £150 on a fine dining meal but can afford to spend £20 per person on a quality main meal and side. 'That's why I launched my reasonably priced American diner concept which suits people whether they want to go out for a special occasion or just a quick meal. 'It has been a big learning curve for me to come from a fine dining kitchen to the much faster pace of a busy diner which is something I hadn't experienced for a while. 'I am delighted that positive Tripadvisor reviews have elevated the restaurant to number two in the area within a month of opening.' Jamie also runs a private dining service for customers across England and Wales and supplies ready-made meals for customers in a 20-mile radius from Tully's Unit 13 in Llandrindod Wells.
