Leonardo DiCaprio's 'bizarre' behaviour has been exposed by British pop star Diana Vickers. Vickers, who rose to fame on The X Factor before finding success in the West End, opened up about the time when she met the Hollywood star. Vickers described the time she was personally invited to the actor's home, only for the encounter to play out very differently to how she had expected. 'I did meet Leo once,' she said on her new podcast Just Between Us. 'He will have no memory of meeting me. One of his mates invited me around to his house. I thought it was going to be a party. Then I ended up just sitting with him watching telly.' 'It was a really, really bizarre moment,' she continued. Vickers went on to suggest that she was just one of many women invited to spend time with DiCaprio. 'He surrounds himself with these good-looking lads, who are all looking for a good time. 'The good-looking lads go and source these hot women for him. 'That stuff happens a lot in Hollywood. These men have got so much fame and power, and they don't want to grow up. 'They just want to be surrounded by beautiful young women all the time. I am not generalising Leo here, I think that's just what happens. It's quite weird actually,' she added. It comes after DiCaprio revealed that he has one big regret about his career. 'I'll say it even though you're here: My biggest regret is not doing Boogie Nights, DiCaprio, 50, told Paul Thomas Anderson, who directed the 1997 epic, during an Esquire interview published Wednesday. 'It was a profound movie of my generation,' DiCaprio said, adding, 'I can't imagine anyone but Mark (Wahlberg) in it.' The Hollywood icon told Anderson, 55, that he thought Boogie Nights was 'a masterpiece' when he saw it for the first time. 'It's ironic that you're the person asking that question,' DiCaprio said to the director, 'but it's true.' DiCaprio turned down the role of Eddie Adams/Dirk Diggler in Boogie Nights to play Jack in James Cameron's disaster film Titanic. Wahlberg, 54, took the lead role in Anderson's film about a young nightclub dishwasher who becomes a porn star. The movie, which was nominated for three Oscars, also stars Julianne Moore, Burt Reynolds, Don Cheadle, John C. Reilly, William H. Macy, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Heather Graham.

IN LONDON Prince William and Prince Harry could be given a rare opportunity to reunite in the coming weeks after years of estrangement. According to The Sunday Times, the Duke of Westminster, Hugh 'Hughie' Grosvenor – one of the brothers' few remaining mutual friends – is considering having them both as godfathers to his first child. His daughter, Cosima Florence Grosvenor, was born in London on July 27. The British outlet reports that Hugh has already asked William to take on the honour, but is yet to make 'a final decision' regarding the Duke of Sussex. Hugh himself is godfather to William's son, Prince George, and Harry's son, Archie, and has maintained a relationship with both his longtime friends amid their well-publicised, years-long rift. A similarly awkward scenario arose last June, when he invited both brothers to his lavish, multimillion-dollar wedding to Olivia Henson at Chester Cathedral. While William served as an usher, Harry politely declined attending – deftly sidestepping any potentially uncomfortable encounters. 'Hugh is one of very few close friends of William and Harry's who has maintained strong bonds and a line of communication with both,' a friend said at the time. 'He wishes they could put their heads together and patch things up, but realises it's unlikely to happen before the wedding. He wanted to avoid anything overshadowing the day, especially for Olivia, and doesn't want any awkwardness.' The wedding was attended by 400 people, but a christening – which would undoubtedly need to include all godparents – would inevitably be a much smaller affair. The Duke and Duchess of Westminster's spokesperson declined to comment to The Sunday Times. While it's clearly not yet known whether Harry will get the call-up for godfather duties, he's made it clear in recent months that he is hoping to reconcile with his family. In May, he told the BBC that there was 'no point in continuing to fight' any more. 'Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book,' Harry admitted. 'Of course, they will never forgive lots of things. But I would love a reconciliation.'

LOTR star Sir Ian McKellan reveals major secret mid-event
Ian McKellen dropped a magical bomb about the next The Lord of the Rings film. During the 'For the Love of Fantasy' event in London on Sunday, the 86-year-old actor suggested that he and Elijah Wood are returning for The Hunt for Gollum, which is currently slated for release in late 2027. 'I hear there's going to be another movie set in Middle-earth, and it's going to start filming in May. It's going to be directed by Gollum and it's all about Gollum, but I'll tell you two secrets about the casting,' McKellen said in a video from the fan event, per the New York Post. 'There's a character in the movie called Frodo and there's another character called Gandalf,' he added, referring to the characters played by Wood, 44, and himself, respectively. After the audience cheered, McKellen told the crowd: 'Apart from that, my lips are sealed.' Wood was also at the fan event alongside McKellen and their co-stars Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, Billy Boyd, and John Rhys-Davies, but he didn't confirm the news himself. The Post has reached out to Warner Bros. for comment. Original Gollum actor Andy Serkis is set to direct and star in The Hunt for Gollum. Warner Bros. first announced the film last summer. Peter Jackson, who directed the original Lord of the Rings trilogy, is producing the upcoming movie with his partners Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens. Boyens, 63, told Empire magazine in October that The Hunt for Gollum will feature 'quite an intense story' that 'falls after the birthday party of Bilbo and before the Mines of Moria.' 'It's a specific chunk of incredible untold story, told through the perspective of this incredible creature,' added Boyens. In a November 2024 interview with Big Issue, McKellen stated that he's interested in playing Gandalf again. 'I've just been told there are going to be more films and Gandalf will be involved and they hope that I'll be playing him,' McKellen shared. 'When? I don't know. What the script is? It's not written yet. So they better be quick!' The Lord of the Rings film series, based on J. R. R. Tolkien's novels, started with 2001's The Followship of the Ring. Two sequels, 2002's The Two Towers and 2003's The Return of the King, followed. The franchise expanded to The Hobbit trilogy films which were also directed by Jackson, 63, and released in 2012, 2013 and 2014. The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum is expected to come out in December 2027.
