Louise said: "Travel's always been a big part of my life.
"I was always chasing trains, living out of a suitcase, constantly in motion.
"My parents will tell you I was never still.
"I'm probably one of the Caledonian Sleeper's most loyal customers, to be honest.
"It's not anything like other train journeys you've taken - you can actually enjoy the ride and have that little bit of time to unwind, to reflect, and really experience the landscapes and culture of both Scotland and England.
"I don't think I realised how much I needed that when my life was so busy."
Louise came across the opportunity to join the campaign by chance, responding to an advert.
Within days, she was plucked from for her daily commuter life and speaking with the production team.
She said: "Within just two or three days, I found myself in a conversation with the production team.
"They were really enthusiastic, and one of the first things they mentioned was how much they loved my smile.
"That was a nice surprise, and it instantly made me feel welcomed and excited about the project.
"I think what really stood out for me was the speed at which everything moved from the initial contact to being fully involved in the campaign.
"There was a real energy to the process that made it feel like the right opportunity at the right time, and I couldn't be more excited to be the face of something that connects so closely with my own values around comfort and sustainability."
The campaign marks a particularly emotional milestone for Louise and her family.
She said: "My grandparents would be so proud of this moment.
"They moved from Sunderland to Scotland to create a new future for our family, with my grandfather working in Tesco and my grandmother at the Bassetts factory.
"Seeing myself front this campaign as a Scottish local and someone who used to take the Sleeper just to get home has been surreal and incredibly moving."
The reaction from family and friends has been overwhelmingly positive, but it's Louise's train-loving nephews who have been most impressed.
(Image: Supplied) She said: "They are mad about trains and just wide-eyed seeing their auntie front the campaign.
"They have been full of questions.
"They cannot quite believe it.
"That has been the most joyful part of all.
The Caledonian Sleeper has long played an important part in the lives of commuters like Louise, who hopes her full-circle moment will add a personal touch to its legacy.
She said: "The Caledonian Sleeper stands as a proud symbol of both Scottish heritage and international connections".
"To be the face of a national campaign like this, representing something so iconic and rooted in my own heritage, was, simply put, overwhelming in the best possible way."

Scottish city is home to one of the most popular place for a walk this summer, according to TikTok

Scotland ranks three times in the UK's top ten walks as TikTok's 'hot girl walk' trend booms Scotland has claimed three spots in a new top ten list of the UK's most popular walks, as the viral TikTok trend known as the 'hot girl walk' continues to sweep the nation just in time for summer. Searches for 'hot girl walk' have skyrocketed by 529 percent in the past month alone, as more and more people look to embrace the feel-good trend now the sun is out and the days are longer. ‌ Despite the name, the trend isn't just for girls, it encourages anyone to head out for a four-mile stroll, while listening to motivational podcasts or repeating positive affirmations. ‌ Car leasing experts at Nationwide Vehicle Contracts have analysed trending TikTok searches to reveal the most in-demand walks for summer 2025, and three Scottish trails have made the cut, proving that the country's scenic walking spots are just as popular online as they are in real life. Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh was the highest ranked Scottish entry, coming in at number four overall. With its sweeping 360-degree views over the city, it's no surprise the extinct volcano is a magnet for both tourists and locals. TikTok searches for Arthur's Seat have hit 106,000 in the UK, with users sharing everything from sunrise selfies to peaceful sunset strolls. Its central location and ample parking near Holyrood Palace and Meadowbank make it an easy option for a spontaneous day trip into the capital. Best known for its appearance in the Harry Potter films, the iconic viaduct draws visitors hoping to catch a glimpse of the Jacobite steam train as it crosses the bridge. The trail also extends beyond the photo spot, offering a rewarding countryside hike through a picturesque Highland valley. ‌ Rounding out Scotland's top entries was Ben A'an in the Trossachs, which remains a favourite for those after a shorter hike with spectacular views. Its compact climb offers a powerful sense of achievement with stunning panoramic scenery at the summit, ideal for reflection and that all-important affirmation time. Urban walks near major cities also ranked highly, with Richmond Park in London topping the overall list thanks to its 192,000 TikTok searches. ‌ The leafy seven-mile loop is popular with Londoners looking to escape the bustle without leaving the city limits, and there are plenty of shorter three to four-mile routes on offer too. The park is well-equipped with cafes, toilet facilities and parking across several locations. Liam Gallagher slams council for suggesting Oasis fans are 'drunk and fat'

Liam Gallagher slams council for suggesting Oasis fans are 'drunk and fat' The frontman said 'I'd leave town that day if I was any of you lot' Liam Gallagher and his brother Noel will reunite for Oasis gigs (Image: Haydn West/PA ) Liam Gallagher has slammed a Scottish council after officials were accused of suggesting Oasis fans are 'drunk, middle-aged and fat'. The remarks were revealed in safety briefings drawn up ahead of the band's three sellout shows at Murrayfield in August. In the documents, concerns were raised that the sold-out Oasis Live '25 Tour would clash with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. One note from the documents, which were released following a freedom of information request by the Scottish Sun, shows council officials warning that 'middle aged men take up more room, consider this when working out occupancy'. ‌ Another details 'concern about crowds of Oasis on weekends as they are already rowdy and the tone of the band'. ‌ It adds: 'Concerned about the safety of the Fringe and its performers. Many performers are considering not attending for that weekend.' One document, which notes 'DF Concerts' in the heading, suggests there will be 'medium to high intoxication' at the concert, and to expect a 'substantial amount of older fans', but adds there have been 'minimal arrests' at recent Gallagher events. Responding on social media, Gallagher said: 'To the Edinburgh council I've heard what you said about Oasis fans and quite frankly your attitude f****** stinks I'd leave town that day if I was any of you lot.' Article continues below In a second post, he added: 'I'd love to see a picture of all the people on the Edinburgh council bet there's some real stuning individuals.' The meetings appear to involve a variety of groups including promoters DF Concerts, Police Scotland, ScotRail, the Scottish Ambulance Service and security firm G4S. David Walker, of the Oasis Collectors Group, criticised the comments made in the safety briefings. He told the Scottish Sun: 'To call fans drunk, middle-aged, and fat is a nasty, sneering stereotype, it's a jaundiced view.' ‌ Around 210,000 people are expected to attend the three Edinburgh shows amid the group's highly anticipated reunion tour. Fans have waited 15 years to see Oasis reunite (Image: Simon Emmett/Fear PR/PA ) Culture and communities convener, councillor Margaret Graham, said: 'We're very proud to host the biggest and best events in Edinburgh throughout the year, which bring in hundreds of millions of pounds to the local economy and provide unparalleled entertainment for our residents and visitors. ‌ 'As with any major event which takes place in the city, we prepare extensively alongside our partners to ensure the safety and best possible experience of everyone involved – and Oasis are no different. 'No two events are the same in terms of requirements or planning and our multi-agency approach reflects this appropriately. We're also working closely with residents in the local area to make sure these concerts pass off as smoothly as possible. 'Over the past few years, we've hosted many similar events and managed to strike the right balance between communicating well with residents and fulfilling the needs of major events and I have no doubt we can do so once again. Article continues below 'We always look to learn lessons from previous years to update and improve on our plans. We're all looking forward to seeing Oasis take to the stage this August and I'm sure that they'll 'live forever' as some of the most memorable concerts ever performed at Murrayfield.'
