Paramount+ hasn't yet renewed MobLand for a second season. But as Tom Hardy's Harry proved time and again in the show's inaugural run, it helps to stay a few steps ahead of the game.

So with that in mind, we've pulled together a little power ranking ahead of a potential Season 2.
Season 1 wrapped Sunday with an episode that revealed the identity of the family's mole (R.I.P., lawyer O'Hara!), put a permanent end to the family's biggest competitor (R.I.P., Richie Stevenson!) and outed Conrad as Eddie's biological father (R.I.P., Kevin's sense of loyalty!). By the end, both Maeve and Conrad were behind bars — though eyeing a speedy release — and Kevin had declared himself the new head of the family. Below, scroll through the Harrigan (and Harrigan-adjacent) characters who were not offed during the show's first season; our choice for Season 2 boss is at the very bottom. Scroll through, then hit the comments with the character you'd pick and why!
We feel for Jan and Harry's teen daughter, whose schooling and social life was uprooted thanks to her father's choice of profession. But snogging Eddie Harrigan shows an exceptional lack of common sense. And after all, she's just a kid! Her inclusion on this list is merely academic: She's not in the running to take anything over (except maybe her GCSE Psychology exam).
Much like his daughter, Harry's wife never signed up for a life steeped in danger and crime, and likely has zero designs on getting in deeper than she currently is. She's not exactly cut out for the secrecy and isolation (see also: Alice), though — as the final moments of the season finale and Harry's bloody pec showed us — she's not above a little violence, unintentional though it was.
Tattersall is a highly intelligent, if incredibly dirty, cop who rode the Stevenson gravy train to its final stop. Now that Richie's dead, who's to say that Tattersall won't ingratiate himself into the Harrigan organization in Season 2? And once inside, whose to say he couldn't mastermind a takeover of his own?
A lot of characters, his wife included, spent Season 1 talking about how Conrad Harrigan is no longer the man he once was. And maybe that's true: His behavior was erratic at best all season, and his temper tantrums tended to end in body counts. Plus, does the guy have a blind spot for Maeve or what? Still, we wouldn't count Pierce Brosnan's character out in Season 2: The man that had his entire cell block cheering for him at the end of the finale has still got a lot of juice left in his lemon.
He's so rich that very little has meaning, and he's so violent that committing murder at his grandmother's behest didn't faze him a bit. Now that he knows he's been lied to about his parentage for his entire life? We easily could see Conrad's grandson — er, son — funneling all of his aggression into a play to head the family… backed, of course, by his twisted, doting Nan.
Let's call a spade a spade: Maeve pretty much ran the Harrigan family for the entirety of Season 1. Who had Eddie kill Tommy? Who encouraged Conrad to kill Archie? Who was behind Vron's explosive death? Who wasn't afraid to put her own son in danger in order to exterminate Seraphina? The answer to all of these questions is the brassy broad who belted 'Twenty Men From Dublin' even as police were taking her into custody. Maeve has the smarts and the cunning to assume control of the family business — but more importantly, she's got the do-anything swagger/borderline psychotic nature necessary for the job.
Before the Season 1 finale, we probably would've cast a vote for Kevin to take the top spot: He seemed the most even-keeled of the Harrigan children, and his conscience also seemed the most intact. We… wouldn't cast that vote now. Kevin is clearly having a delayed (though highly warranted) reaction to the rape and trauma he experienced as a much younger man, and that stew of emotion seems to be guiding every choice he's making — including out-and-out threatening his father's seat of power in the family. Did we love seeing Kev stand up to his lecherous old man? We did. Do we think it bodes well for him once Conrad is no longer behind bars? No, no we do not.
Harry's hired henchwoman is street-smart, efficient and effective. She knows her role and does it well. While it would be a huge jump to Harrigan CEO, we could easily see her slipping into Harry's position if/when he ever ascends within the organization.
As Pierce Brosnan told us earlier in the season, Harry 'is my son, in some regards,' and the Harrigan family fixer would be Conrad's pick if the old man was pressed to choose a successor. Can you blame him? Harry is smart, discreet, tough, strategic and incredibly loyal — even when it puts the lives of his family in danger, as it did during that season-ending conversation with Kat. Perhaps Harry's best attribute? He's not a shoot-first-think-later hothead, as so many of the Harrigans are, which instantly puts him well ahead of the competition.
Conrad's love child got herself into a spot of bother with that whole Antwerp debacle, which was borne of the probably-not-wise choice to go into business with her feckless brother, Brendan. But aside from that, we love that she seems to have her father's killer instinct but very little of the family loyalty that so often proves a weakness. Take that conversation with Kat in the season finale, for instance: Boss move! While we agree with Brosnan that Harry likely will wind up running the Harrigan empire, we wouldn't mind watching Seraphina take it for a spin in Season 2.

'I own the UK's most haunted hotel and this is why people leave in the middle of the night'
A hotel in Chester is said to be so haunted that some people cannot stay for an entire night. Ye Olde King's Head in Chester is said to be one of the UK's most haunted buildings, home to over a dozen ghosts, dating back to 1622. The ghosts are believed to be the tormented souls of civil war soldiers, Roman soldiers and young children and women who worked there when it was a brothel. After seeing an opportunity arise, Harry Achilleos bought the site back in 2013. Now, it is a "My Haunted Hotel" and has 24-hour surveillance cameras to catch any potential paranormal activity. Even some of Harry's own family refuses to visit. Speaking exclusively to Reach Plc's Screen Time team, Harry himself admitted he has faced paranormal activity in the hotel. He said: "There is a belief that when you do renovation work, the whole place becomes active. We had a refurbishment in 2014 and all of the rooms were renovated, and the place kicked off." He added: "One night there was no-one in the building and something had started. I watched the (bed) covers wrap around me tighter and tighter and I just said 'please stop' and then I saw the covers relax. "You can hear knocking on doors every night and the sound of children running down corridors. "Out of the three of us, I'm the bravest but the King's Head doesn't feel like there's anything evil there, it's really just a haunted place and so active, whereas our other sites it can feel like there's an evil presence." Harry bought the site "purely on a whim", having always been into paranormal activity and supernatural sightings, often travelling around the country. Now, he hosts My Haunted Project with Dan Callaghan and Danny Moss, with other haunted sites located in Pendle Hill and the USA. Harry added: "It nearly made me bankrupt, I had to get the pub and hotel right before I could do this and it wasn't until lockdown I decided to install the cameras." With the three locations, My Haunted Project is focused on "changing the paranormal and evolving it to a new level based on real evidence, eye witness accounts and 24/7 surveillance". Speaking about his idea for 24-hour paranormal surveillance, he said: "It solidified my idea when I had normal hotel guests, before this project, leaving in the middle of the night and leaving letters and pictures with what they saw and experienced. "You can only tell someone what you've seen so much before they think you're a liar but now we've got the footage to back it up." Capturing shadow figures, poltergeist activity and disembodied voices, the hotel is also home to some of Britain's most haunted collections. The "Grace Doll" has her own room and is in a special glass case, but is said to be the UK's most haunted artefact. Harry added: "People have to sign a disclaimer in order to go in, she's had a lot of psychological effects. The room smells different, almost pungent and we've had people faint in there." Prince William and Prince Harry's Relationship Has Reportedly Reached a Point of 'No Turning Back'
Prince William and Prince Harry's brotherly rift has raged on for years, and the brothers currently have no relationship and reportedly haven't spoken in two years. For William, a new report claims, 'There is no turning back' in his relationship with Harry, and 'The door is firmly shut.' 'William cannot forgive Harry for having betrayed the royal family in destructive interviews and a memoir [2023's Spare],' Fitzsimmons said, with another source speaking to Us Weekly emphasizing that the Prince of Wales feels 'hurt and betrayed' by Harry's public comments. But before the collective public blames Meghan Markle for the feud between brothers, royal commentator Amanda Matta encourages a bit of restraint. 'The tensions within the family run much deeper than any one woman's influence,' she said. 'The cracks were already there. If anything, Meghan's presence helped Harry process and articulate the ways in which the institution had already failed him.' Koenig said Charles is taking a 'tough love' approach with Harry: 'Charles never stopped loving Harry, but he doesn't want to [cause] any more tension within the family,' she said. 'He can't bring his two sons together—that's something they need to do. It must be awfully painful for the King that he doesn't see his grandchildren and that he can't talk to his son [Harry] for fear of what will happen,' adding that the King is 'keeping his distance until they can find a way to talk.' Charles has been battling cancer since early 2024, and while he seems to be stable and doing well, he is 76 years old—and not even monarchs live forever. When that awful day does inevitably come—may it be in the far distant future—not even that will guarantee a reconciliation, Matta told Us Weekly. Koenig expects that Harry will learn of the King's 'illness at the last minute' and that Harry will then fly to the U.K. 'But I think access will be regulated, and it will all depend on what the King's wishes are,' she added. June 4 marks Princess Lilibet's fourth birthday, and, because of the conflict between William and Harry, the royal cousins are separated—not just emotionally, but, of course, geographically too. 'Kate [Middleton] would have loved for her kids to have a relationship with Harry's, but the dream that [they] could all play together couldn't be further away,' a source told Us Weekly. Matta told the outlet that the ball is in William's court, but it will be an uphill climb to get to reconciliation: 'This complex rift is about two very different worldviews—one is rooted in preserving tradition, the other in breaking from them when they start to cause harm,' she said. At least one Reagan family member's story will continue to be told when Boston Blue debuts on CBS. Ordered to series on Feb. 18 — two months after Blue Bloods ended its well-watched, 14-season run — Boston Blue finds franchise vet Donnie Wahlberg reprising his role as veteran police detective Danny Reagan. Boston Blue since Day 1 has been described as a 'universe expansion of the long-running top drama Blue Bloods,' in part because its premise was born of an entirely unrelated project. As Deadline reported, the only Donnie Wahlberg-led Blue Bloods offshoot that had been pitched (but got passed on) would have transplanted Danny Reagan to Texas. Boston Blue showrunners Brandon Sonnier and Brandon Margolis, meanwhile, had independently developed a series that would follow a family of cops in Boston whose eldest daughter is partnered with a new transfer from LAPD. NYPD vet Danny is now that transfer. In Boston Blue, Donnie Wahlberg's Danny Reagan takes a position with the Boston PD. Once in Boston, he is paired with detective Lena Silvers, the eldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family. Thus far, Donnie Wahlberg is the only Blue Bloods vet confirmed to appear on the spinoff universe expansion — though there surely will be mentions of the Reagan fam and friends back in New York, if not some flesh-and-blood cameos… eventually. 'Danny's story will continue the Reagan family's. You can't have Danny without Reagans,' Wahlberg said at a May press event. 'No Blue Bloods fans will be disappointed,' Wahlberg avowed, reiterating: 'We are really working on this universe in a way that I think the Blue Bloods viewers are going to be very happy.' First and foremost, Sonequa Martin-Green (Star Trek: Discovery, The Walking Dead) will star alongside Donnie Wahlberg as Detective Lena Silver, the eldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family. Additionally, Ernie Hudson (NBC's Quantum Leap reboot) has been cast as Lena's grandfather, Reverend Peters, a renowned pastor of a historic Baptist church in Boston, while Psych vet Maggie Lawson will play Boston PD Superintendent Sarah Silver, Lena's 'strong-willed' and 'decisive' stepsister. At least two other series regulars have yet to be cast. Fact is, precious few scripted TV series have ever made camp in Boston, with Robert Urich's mid-1980s crime drama, Spenser: For Hire, being one of the exceptions. ABC' A Million Little Things (see photo above) was famously set in Boston (however devoid as it was of any accents) but filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia. Even Blue Bloods patriarch Tom Selleck's Massachusetts-based Jesse Stone TV movies were filmed in Nova Scotia. Boston Blue will film some exteriors in Boston, but production will be based out of Toronto, Ontario (that's in Canada). When CBS unveiled its fall schedule, there Boston Blue was, confirmed for a fall debut and calling Blue Bloods' old Fridays-at-10/9c time slot home. There, Boston Blue will lead out of Sheriff Country and that freshman spinoff's sire, Fire Country. CBS typically sets fall premieres dates by mid-July, and TVLine will of course keep you posted on when, exactly, Boston Blue will debut.
