Prince William whispered 'clear instructions' to Kate after poignant ceremony
The Prince and Princess of Wales were seen chatting to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they left the church service but it seems William also had some words for Kate
It's been a rare occurrence for estranged royal brothers Prince Harry and Prince William to attend the same official engagement recently. However, in June 2022, the brothers put aside their differences to participate in Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
This event also marked the first public appearance of Harry and Meghan since they stepped down from their royal duties in 2020. During the ceremony, although both brothers seemed to have come together, they maintained a noticeable distance, barely interacting.
A lip reader has now revealed what he believes the brothers said during a brief exchange, including an instruction from William to Kate.
Afterwards, as William greeted the crowd, Cassidy says the prince turned to Kate and said: "Wait for that to move, then we can go."
In addition, body language expert Judi James, who observed the royal couples at the same event, believes William gave Harry the "opposite of an acknowledgement" along with a "barrier gesture",
James noted that William used a "barrier gesture" when walking past Harry's pew with Kate on their way to their seats. Judi shared her insights, remarking: "Harry looked firmly resigned to the back row here and was not sitting behind his brother as he was for the last service of remembrance."
She observed that "Harry's expression did suggest some relief as he joked with Zara as he searched for his car on the way out and he threw a wide, open-mouthed grin in her direction from the pews, but otherwise he fell into a haunted eye expression with some rapid blinking to suggest inner anxiety, leaning in and down to Meghan when she spoke as though keen to get some support."
Moreover, Judi noted: "There was the opposite to an acknowledgement from William as he walked past Harry's row during the parade out of the service."
Detailing William's body language, she added: "Sucking in his lips and with his chin pulled up in a gesture of resolve he appeared to turn his head in the other direction for a moment, raising his order of service high in a barrier gesture."
After uniting at the Jubilee in 2022 to honour Britain's longest-serving monarch, William and Harry were brought together just months later by the passing of their beloved grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
In a show of unity, the siblings, along with Kate and Meghan, engaged in a joint walkabout in Windsor to view floral homages.
However, despite this short-lived period of apparent reconciliation, the relationship between the brothers seems to have worsened after Prince Harry and Meghan released a Netflix series airing grievances about the Royal Family, coupled with Harry's scathing memoir targeting his relatives.

More info A lip reader has revealed the question Princess Charlotte asked Princess Kate during their Trooping the Colour carriage ride. Kate Middleton and her three children Charlotte, Prince George and Prince Louis were met with cheers from the crowd when they first left Buckingham Palace in a carriage for the King's official birthday parade, reports the Daily Record. The children and their mum waved to the crowds from their carriage as they followed the King and Queen down the Mall to Horse Guards Parade - with Louis grinning through the window. In one sweet moment, Charlotte could be seen chatting to her mum as they made their way to the celebrations. One lip reader has said that the young princess had a pressing question for her mum. According to professional lip reader Jeremy Freeman, Princess Charlotte said: "Who is it?" asking about a person in the crowd, Kate then replied and Charlotte then appeared to say: "Oh brilliant" before the mother and daughter giggled together. The sweet moment was captured before the King and Queen led the Royal Family onto the balcony at Buckingham Palace to watch a flypast of military aviation. The Royal Family waved one last time at the crowd before heading back into the Palace. Meanwhile, Kate returned to a major Trooping the Colour duty alongside the King and Queen today. In her role as Colonel of the Irish Guards she took her seat on the dais alongside the King and Queen to watch the spectacular military parade at Horse Guards Parade. In 2024 she sat upstairs in the Major General's office to watch the display with her children after marking her return to duty following the start of her cancer treatment. Today, Kate arrived at Horse Guards Parade today in an Ascot Landau carriage alongside her three children. She looked stunning in a turquoise Catherine Walker coat dress, a hat by Juliette Botterill, her Irish Guards Regimental brooch and a pair of earrings that belonged to the late Queen before taking her seat on the parade ground. At last year's Trooping the Colour, Kate returned for her first official public appearance since she revealed she had received a cancer diagnosis. She took pride of place on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the RAF flypast standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the King.

Love Island fans furious over ‘double standards' after Helena's raunchy sex confession
LOVE Island viewers have been left outraged over 'double standards' following Helena's raunchy sex confession. It comes after fans called for a "misogynistic" star to be axed after a series of derogatory comments. 5 5 5 In yesterday's episode, Helena admitted she previously had a threesome with two men. Meanwhile, Harry, who she is currently coupled with, discussed this with the other lads. It was during a boys' night away from the villa, where they were met by three bombshells. Those watching at home were not impressed and felt his remarks were unfair - while it came just a day after the pair snuck off to the Hideaway together to spend the night. Harry told the others - unaware Helena was listening from the villa: 'For me, with Helena, it's like, I don't know if she's just a good time girl. Like, as I know, the more I'm getting to know her, like… 'I'm having a good time, but I wanna have a long time. "What I'm learning about her lifestyle, and like, what she does, like, she goes out a lot. We had the conversations - you were all there. She had a threesome. 'I don't think that really worries me. Because like, I can guarantee I've done worse, sort of thing. But I think it did surprise me a little bit. 'What I'm learning about her lifestyle, and like, what she does, like, she goes out a lot. We had the conversations - you were all there. She had a threesome. 'I don't think that really worries me. Because like, I can guarantee I've done worse, sort of thing. But I think it did surprise me a little bit. 'It's not I wanted to take a step back or anything. It was just more like, okay, I need to learn more, just to figure out what she's gonna really be like.' Back in the villa, Helena raged: 'F**k me. Oh, my dirty laundry, is it?' Harry continued: 'But if she's still there, if she's still in that phase of her life where it's like, she wants to have a good time, then it might not be the right time for me and her.' One fan said: "Yayyyy double standards." Another remarked: "He didn't care about her background when they went to the hideaway." A third shared: "What's Harry's surname? Ah yes Double-Standard, my bad I forgot." While a fourth remarked: "Wow, the judgement of that boy when 'hes done worse' the putdown before the brag is wild! Must be from the insecurity of going thin in the front talking!" A fifth chimed in: "Hmm double standards eh one rule for a guy and one for the girl." Elsewhere, Helena chose to recouple with Harry - despite him expressing an interest in Shakira still. Love Island 2025 full lineup Harry Cooksley: A 30-year-old footballer with charm to spare. Duke and Duchess of Sussex hire new agency in PR staff shake-up
Harry and Meghan have turned to US-based Method Communications to promote their business and philanthropic endeavours after several members of their team reportedly departed. Kyle Boulia, their Los Angeles-based deputy press secretary, and Charlie Gipson, who had been serving as the couple's European communications director, are among those who are said to have left the couple, the Mail Online reports. Meredith Maines, the chief communications officer to Harry and Meghan, is overseeing the revamp which she said will swell the ranks of the Sussex PR machine from two members of staff to 'an agency support staff of eight'. She said: 'As the duke and duchess's business and philanthropic interests grow, I have made the strategic decision to move toward a more traditional communications structure of specialist agency support, as previously reported in Forbes and PR Week several weeks ago. 'Transitioning from a team of two to an agency support staff of eight, operating across five different time zones, will give international media and stakeholders better access, and critically, faster response times to inquiries.' The couple's business portfolio include Meghan's lifestyle brand As Ever, launched in April this year; their media production company, Archewell Productions; and a multi-project deal with Netflix. Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, announced they were stepping back as working members of the royal family on January 8 2020. The couple have since been at the centre of tensions with other royals, with the duke becoming estranged from his father, the King, and his brother, the Prince of Wales. In a recent television interview, Harry said he 'would love a reconciliation' with the royal family, claiming Charles will not speak to him and expressing concern that he does not know 'how much longer my father has'. In that same BBC interview, Harry complained his loss of a legal challenge over his UK security was a 'stitch-up', adding that he felt 'let down'. Harry and Meghan were told following their departure from the royal family that they would not be able to retain the full-time police protection granted to the royals. The Sussexes would instead receive a 'bespoke' security service, whereby they would be required to give 30 days' notice of any plans to travel to the UK, with each visit being assessed for threat levels and whether protection is needed. Last month, Harry lost his Court of Appeal challenge over his security arrangements while in the UK and said, in the TV interview following the decision, he 'can't see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK'. Earlier this month, the duchess posted a video of herself twerking in a bid to bring on labour while pregnant with Princess Lilibet. In the clip, a heavily pregnant Meghan is shown dancing in a hospital room to the Starrkeisha song Baby Momma, alongside the Duke of Sussex. Meghan posted on her Instagram to celebrate Lili's fourth birthday on Wednesday, writing: 'Four years ago today, this also happened. 'Both of our children were a week past their due dates … so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work – there was only one thing left to do!' The candid video, which runs for more than a minute, also features Harry, who is seen dancing in and out of the frame. The couple were also noticeably absent from the Trooping the Colour parade on Saturday. It is the third year in a row the Sussexes were not present at the event.
