The Miami Dolphins and Jalen Ramsey have been searching for a trade partner for a while now. The two sides mutually agreed early in the offseason, and the Dolphins waited until after June 1 to help with the dead cap space hit.

With less than a month until training camp, Ramsey may have just hinted at where he'll be playing in 2025.

Although this is nothing concrete, it could be a signal from Ramsey that the Steelers will be his home in 2025. After all, Pittsburgh has shown this offseason that they are willing to go all-in right now.
The Steelers and Dolphins have been in communication throughout the offseason regarding tight end Jonnu Smith. Now, the two teams could be in touch about Ramsey.

The Steelers' secondary is already loaded with star power, with Minkah Fitzpatrick leading the group. Pittsburgh signed Darius Slay to a one-year, $10 million deal this offseason, and Joey Porter Jr. will be entering his third year in the league.

With the addition of Aaron Rodgers earlier this month, it's obvious that the Steelers are trying to put everything together to make a run in 2025.
The addition of Ramsey could build the Steelers' secondary into one of the best in the NFL. If you pair that with a healthy T.J. Watt and the Steelers' defensive front, Pittsburgh's defense could be looking at its greatest potential yet.
The Steelers' cap space isn't in the greatest position, sitting at just below $19 million. But if Pittsburgh believes the addition of Ramsey with Rodgers on the other side of the ball could put them in contention for a Super Bowl, I'm sure they'd find a way to make it happen.
Adam Schefter said on the Pat McAfee show this morning that he expects Ramsey to be traded before training camp begins, which leaves less than a month before the Dolphins' cornerback could be on the move.

So I feel like Belichick has been eyeballing the Bucs. Yes, this is just a projection, but there is nothing stopping Irving from hitting the numbers Clay put up, and if he does, it would mark quite the start to an NFL career for a running back who just 12 months ago wasn't even the starter.
