Appleton Police Department asks for public's help in combating reckless motocycle riding
APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – With rising temperatures and more riders taking to the roadways, the Appleton Police Department is asking for the public's help in combating reckless driving from motorcycles and other motorized bikes.
According to a release, the department tends to see a rise in dangerous behaviors like speeding, running red lights, weaving through traffic, not wearing helmets, trick riding, and fleeing from officers as the weather continues to get warmer.

While officers say most riders operate responsibly, they are asking for the public to help address the rising concern of dangerous behavior on the road, as it is not just a law enforcement issue, but also a community safety issue.
