VinFast VF7: Design and colour options
Buyers will be able to choose from six exterior colours: Jet Black, Desat Silver, Infinity Blanc, Crimson Red, Zenith Grey, and Urban Mint. These shades complement the VF7's contemporary design, which features a wide LED daytime running light strip that meets in the centre to form a V-shape, a signature element of VinFast's brand identity. The SUV's bold proportions and coupe-like stance give it a futuristic presence on the road, aimed at drawing attention in an increasingly competitive EV market.

Inside, the VF7 continues its premium approach with a sleek, tech-forward layout. The dashboard is dominated by a floating 15-inch touchscreen infotainment display and a heads-up display, while physical buttons for drive mode selection add a functional touch. The dual-tone interior theme, combining Mocca Brown with black, enhances the sense of luxury and spaciousness.

VinFast VF7: Features and safety
Across its variants, the VF7 will come equipped with a host of advanced features. These include a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, and a 360-degree camera system. Safety is a strong focus too, with 8 airbags, electronic stability control, and a full suite of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and blind spot monitoring.
VinFast VF7: Local assembly and upcoming launch
The VF7, along with the VF6, will be assembled at VinFast's upcoming factory in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. This will help the company price its products more competitively in the Indian market while also meeting the government's push for local manufacturing.
Although powertrain details for the India-spec VF7 have not yet been confirmed, the global version comes with a 75.3 kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed range of up to 450 km on a single charge.
VinFast VF7: Rivals
With its distinctive styling and a strong feature list, the VF7 will target rivals like the Mahindra XUV.e9 and BYD Atto 3 when it officially launches in August.

First Tesla Charging Station in India to be inaugurated on August 4
Having arrived in India just last month, Tesla is all set to introduce its charging network in the country soon. The brand will launch its first Tesla Charging Station in India on August 4, 2025. The new V4 Supercharging stalls (DC Charging) will be located in BKC (Bandra-Kurla Complex) in Mumbai, with more to follow across other parts of the country. First Tesla Charging Station Coming Up In Mumbai The first Tesla Charging Station will have four V4 supercharging stalls, equipped with DC fast chargers, along with four destination chargers, or AC chargers. The Tesla Supercharging Stalls will have a peak charging speed of 250 kW, starting at ₹24 per kW, while Destination Chargers (11 kW) will provide charging at ₹14 per kW. The company says that its maiden offering for India, the Model Y, can add up to 267 km of range in just 15 minutes with Tesla Superchargers. That's enough to complete five trips between the Gateway of India and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai, a distance of nearly 29 km one way. Tesla Supercharging Network Tesla says its supercharging network has an uptime of 99.95 per cent, promising a working charger every time you need to juice up your Tesla's battery. The charging speed, however, will vary depending on several factors, including the battery's current state of charge and temperature. The Tesla Model Y will also guide you to the nearest supercharging station with the built-in navigation system, and automatically precondition the battery before arriving at the station for faster charging. Do note that the Tesla Model Y in India comes with a CCS2 charging port, which makes it compatible with other fast charging stations as well. Deliveries of the Tesla Model Y in India will begin from September across India with Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Gurugram prioritised Tesla Model Y India Deliveries Tesla is gearing up to begin deliveries of the new Model Y in India from September onwards. The automaker opened bookings in July this year with the electric SUV available in Standard and Long Range variants. It lifted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, onboard Isro's GSLV Mk-II rocket. Weighing 2,392 kilos, Nisar was jointly developed by Isro and Nasa. It has two frequencies — Nasa's L-band and Isro's S-band, which will equip the mission to observe changes more accurately than any other satellite.
