Fitness trainor and actor Rahul Bhatt, implicated in investigations related to the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks due to his friendship with mastermind David Headley, got emotional on the Hindi Rush podcast while speaking about the case.
Calling the incident and experience 'devastating', Rahul Bhatt got emotional talking about how he is treated by people despite being a witness in the case and not an accused.
'That case created the most devastating trauma, which I didn't show, which I kept within. I said: 'I am this big, larger than life, physical male', but I suffered the most damage… because my identity and I were butchered,' he said.
'My character was assassinated... for what? for nothing. I didn't do anything, if I had, I would have confessed and gone to the gallows, I'm a man, I'd take it on my chin… and what I was made to got through. I remember to this date,' he said.
On whether the social impact still persists, Rahul Bhatt said that he gets at last 20 direct messages everyday on social media.
'Everyday there are at least 20 DMs … you get used to it, but then it hurts. At the end of the day it hurts when youre called a traitor, when you have done nothing. (I am a) human being, how much will you take?' he said wiping tears.
He added that this has made him distrustful and paranoid. '… you start distrusting human beings … I do feel secure, believe in myself, but I am paranoid. I can't just relax,' he said emotionally.
Rahul Bhatt said that investigating agencies have been fair and he has the truth on his side. 'I have not faced any problems from the agencies. They have been fair. They go by facts. Dudh ka dhudh, paani ka paani… the only thing that has saved me is the truth and the truth and the truth,' he claimed.
On the media coverage he admitted that some were sensationalised. 'It was selected media … but everything is out — I was never a accused, I was a witness... If I was involed, would I be sitting here with you? It's a big case... do you think they would have spared me?'
He also added that the case has had long lasting impact on his life. 'I am stuck with the stamp 'that's Headley's friend'. What can I say, he was my friend. I didn't know his real intentions.'
Rahul Bhatt added that he has no regrets. '… no hard feelings and I don't have any regrets, if I have to go through everything again I will. I learnt life lessons. Adversity has taught me, and I have no fear now.'

Divya Dutta reveals why she doesn't want to get married despite ‘a lot' of male attention: ‘I think I'm overqualified'

Among Bollywood stars like Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen, who have chosen to remain unmarried, is actor Divya Dutta. In a recent interview with Hindi Rush, Divya opened up about her decision not to marry and shared her wish to have a meaningful companionship instead. (Also Read: Divya Dutta says 'don't forget her hits' as she defends 'incredible actor' Rashmika Mandanna amid criticism for Chhaava) Talking about her views on marriage, Divya said, 'If you find a good partner, it's great to be married. If not, life moves on beautifully. It's better to nurture yourself than stay in a dysfunctional marriage. Rather than lowering yourself in a relationship, it's better to love yourself. There's a lot of male attention coming my way and I enjoy that, but a relationship should happen when you connect. You feel that the person can hold your hand. If that isn't there, I have many lovely friends around me, and I am there for myself.' She further expressed that she doesn't want to get married and said, 'I don't want to get married, but I would love to have a companion with whom I can travel. And if not, then I'm still happy. You know, my best friend sent me a quote — a person asks, 'Why are you single? You are beautiful, attractive, caring,' and I say, 'I think I'm overqualified.' There comes a time when you look for completeness outside, which is not necessary. It's not necessary that you'll only be complete when a good partner enters your life. I used to have that misconception. I used to wear my heart on my sleeve — but not anymore.' Divya was last seen in the film Chhaava. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film featured Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, along with Akshaye Khanna as Emperor Aurangzeb and Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale. The film was a massive success, earning ₹807.88 crore worldwide, and is now available to stream on Netflix. She will next be seen in Nastik, co-starring Arjun Rampal. Directed by Shailesh Verma, the film also features Ihana Dhillon and Harshaali Malhotra. The release date is yet to be announced.

Govinda's wife Sunita compares herself to Darr's Shah Rukh Khan, says she loves the same way: ‘I'm possessive, can't share my husband'

Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have been married for over 38 years and in a recent interview, Sunita was asked about what is still keeping their relationship intact. Sunita listed three things that are extremely essential in maintaining a loving relationship, and then compared her love for Govinda to that of Shah Rukh Khan's character in Darr. In the film Darr, SRK played a stalker who seems to be dealing with severe mental health issues as he kills people to be with the woman he loves, played by Juhi Chawla. Sunita, in a chat with Instant Bollywood, was asked how they were still maintaining their relationship after 38 years, and she said, 'It's faith, love and kids.' She added, 'It's very necessary to have faith in each other. And love… I have faith in our love.' Sunita then compared herself to Shah Rukh's character and said, 'I love like… you remember how Shah Rukh Khan loved in Darr, like that madness for love. I am also very possessive. I don't like that my husband and my kids… I can't share them. I am very possessive.' She added, 'There should be some possessiveness or you can't it love, then it's just a compromise.' In the same chat, Sunita Ahuja shared that she met Govinda when she was still a teenager and fell in love with him. She said that her mother wanted her to be a housewife, and discouraged her from pursuing a career in films even though she received some offers to be a lead actor as a teenager. 'My mom always wanted me to be a good housewife because she was the same way. She loved Govinda a lot. She wanted me to get married, have kids. She said 'What will you gain by becoming an actress?' So I listened to my mom. Now, it's been 38 years,' she said. This came after Govinda's lawyer, Lalit Bindal, said that Sunita had actually filed for a divorce previously but the couple made up a few months later. Prior to this, in a chat with Hindi Rush, Sunita Ahuja had implied that the couple was now living separately. This possibly gave birth to rumours that they were heading towards divorce.

He said, "I have spoken to many stars, but I didn't think much about them. But I felt Amitabh Bachchan's aura when I was shooting Kaun Banega Crorepati's promo. The first time I met him… he was like… I felt like I was Abhishek Bachchan. I felt like I was his son. Pehle toh aise kar rahe the jaise humara janam janam ka rishta hai (He was behaving as if we have a bond of many lifetimes). We spoke for three hours." However, the actor revealed that the superstar behaved coldly during their second meeting for an ad shoot and said, "The second time I met him to shoot an advertisement, he was very rude. After completing the shoot, I went and told him, 'I consider myself very fortunate to be able to work with you twice.' But he didn't even look at me, he kept staring at a painting and said, 'Bhagwan kare aapko tisbara mile' (May God give you a third chance also).' Saanand went on to say that no one is really friends in the industry and further agreed with Paresh Rawal's statement that people are only colleagues in the business. Saanand started his acting journey with the television show Lapataganj and made his Bollywood debut with Rani Mukerji's film Mardaani. He followed it up with appearances in several successful shows like CID, F.I.R., and Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! and films like Raid, Chhichhore, and Mission Raniganj, among others. He was most recently seen in the film Vijay 69, which also featured Anupam Kher, Chunky Panday, and Mihir Ahuja in key roles. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in the movie Vettaiyan. He will next be seen in Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD sequel. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan and is scheduled to go on floors in December this year.
