Will Caitlin Clark play Tuesday? Indiana Fever provide injury update

WNBA and Indiana Fever fans are anxiously awaiting the return of superstar Caitlin Clark. Clark has been sidelined with a left quadriceps injury since the Fever's May 24 contest against the New York Liberty.
Clark has missed each of Indiana's past four contests as she works her way back from the injury.

On Monday, Fever head coach Stephanie White provided an update on the injury status of Clark, ruling out the Fever star for Indiana's contest at Atlanta on Tuesday night.
"Not for tomorrow," White said of Clark's availability against the Dream. "No. I think for us, we've got to work both her and Sophie back into are they in basketball condition? What does it mean to go live? It's one thing to do some shooting drills. It's another thing to get out there on the floor, get back into movement patterns, rhythm, timing.
"And so that's what part of picking and choosing the things that they can be in in practice, so that we can see their progression. Both of them, being out for long periods of time, you've got to work your way back into being game ready."
Coach White was asked if Clark had been cleared to return to basketball activities.

"I don't know if cleared is the right word. We're ready to start ramping back up. It's completely different when you're just doing 1-on-1 workouts and when you're out there in 5-on-5, getting up and down the floor, moving laterally. So, she's been allowed to do some practicing. Not everything. And we're going to be smart and we're going to be cautious and we're going to play the long game and work her back in very intentionally," White said.
Clark is is currently averaging 19.0 points, 9.3 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game on 40.3% field goal shooting, 31.4% from 3-point range and 75.0% from the free-throw line. The second-year pro opened the season with the third triple-double of her career and has two more double-doubles, including Clark's 18 points and 10 assists against the reigning WNBA champion Liberty in her final game before injury.
The Fever are 2-2 minus Clark and have won both of their past two contests. Indiana is 4-4 on the season. After its date at Atlanta, Indiana hosts the Liberty again on Saturday, June 14.

Notre Dame's secondary is among best in nation, according to Pro Football Focus College

Notre Dame's defense has earned yet another accolade, and we still haven't played a down of the 2025 college football season yet. Pro Football Focus College has the Fighting Irish secondary listed at third in their roundup of the top 10 secondaries. They're in the top five behind Texas and Alabama and ahead of Clemson and Ohio State. Advertisement This even with Xavier Watts and Benjamin Morrison headed to the NFL. The growth of players like Leonard Moore and Christian Gray, plus the return of veteran Adon Shuler and the addition of Devonta Smith from Alabama have PFF feeling good about the back end of Notre Dame's defense. Here's a bit of what PFF said: "The Fighting Irish made the national championship game last year off a dominant ground game and an elite secondary. Considering Notre Dame has PFF's No. 2 running back unit and our third-ranked secondary, that blueprint should remain the same in 2025." Let's hope that blueprint isn't just the same, but better. Have the Pacers ever won the NBA championship? Indiana's ABA title history

The Indiana Pacers beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 of the NBA Finals and lead the best-of-seven series, 2-1. With the Pacers two wins away from a championship, what is Indiana's title history? This is what you should know: The Pacers have made the NBA Finals twice, but they have yet to win an NBA championship. Indiana made the finals in 2000 but lost to Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers, 4-2. It marked the Lakers' first of three straight titles with Phil Jackson as coach. This year marks the Pacers' second trip to the finals. While Indiana hasn't appeared in the NBA Finals frequently, they have made it to the Eastern Conference Finals on 10 occasions (1994, 1995, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2004, 2013, 2014, 2024, 2025). Re-live the Pacers unbelievable run to the NBA Finals in IndyStar's commemorative book Before moving to the NBA in 1976, the Pacers played in the American Basketball Association (ABA) for nine seasons (1967-76).

Per the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings, Brooks is considered as the nation's No. 112 overall player in the 2026 class, as well as the No. 14 edge rusher nationally out of North Oconee High School in Georgia. The four-star prospect is also considered as the No. 13 overall player in the state of Georgia. Alabama's 2026 recruiting class currently ranks No. 49 nationally according to the 247Sports Team Rankings with only six commitments. Of those six, three come from the state of Georgia, while two are edge rushers in four-star's Jamarion Matthews and Kamhariyan Johnson, the latter of which recently shut down his recruitment.
