Maguire revealed there will be several comings and goings at Old Trafford, emphasising the importance of getting recruitment right.
He said to press at a commercial event in Mumbai: "We will make a lot of changes in the summer at the club.
"There will be a lot of players who leave and hopefully a lot of players will come in.

Caoimhin Kelleher's Brentford move will land Cork club a seven-figure payday
Caoimhin Kelleher is set to swap Liverpool for Premier League rivals Brentford, with the two clubs agreeing a deal worth up to €21.4m. The initial fee will see the Anfield side net €15m, with the remainder coming their way in performance-related clauses. It represents good value for the Premier League champions, who paid just over €30,000 to sign Kelleher from Cork side Ringmahon Rangers 10 years ago. But it also means the Mahon-based club will land a huge seven-figure payday, thanks to a 20 percent sell-on clause negotiated at the time of his move in the summer of 2015. Rangers previously earned €50,000 when Kelleher was capped competitively for Ireland at senior level. This move will bring €3m into the club's coffers. Kelleher has a year left on his Liverpool contract, but the signing of Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia has signalled the end of his time at Anfield. 'I've said it before as well, I feel like I'm good enough to be a No.1 and I feel like I'm good enough to play week in, week out and that's what I'm looking to do. 'This season I was lucky enough to play a lot of games but it's definitely something I'm looking at. 'The season I've had, I've played a lot of games and had that taste this season of being a number one. 'Whether that's at Liverpool or elsewhere, that remains to be seen. My main focus at the moment is to be number one. 'Obviously I love playing for Ireland. A big ambition of mine is to be the number one here – obviously that only comes hand in hand when I'm number one at the club as well. 'That plays a major part as well, in terms of helping my case to be Ireland number one.'

WHAT IS THE RUN-IT-STRAIGHT CHALLENGE THIS latest craze sees participants sprinting into each other without protective head gear. It is based loosely on the contact elements of rugby union, rugby league or the NFL and involves two competitors — a runner and tackler — speeding at each other and colliding. Players are not allowed to trick or dodge. Most read in Irish News The game has grown in popularity through the Australian RUNIT Championship League, which offers cash prizes. Organisers promote the event as 'the world's fiercest new collision sport'. OTHER DANGEROUS TRENDS Run-It-Straight is by no means the first social media-fuelled trend to draw safety warnings after a tragedy. Medical experts have been forced to warn the public about the risks of everything from inhaling solvents to abusing over-the-counter medications and even snorting condoms. Another new 'game' is 'chroming'. The dangerous practice is a means of getting high via inhaling hydrocarbons by misusing a variety of legal products,. The term comes from the effect of inhaling metallic paints sprayed on a rag, which leaves a chrome residue on someone's face. In 2014, 19-year-old Jonny Byrne, from Co The drinking game encourages participants to film themselves 'necking' booze while performing a stunt, before nominating a friend to do the same. Jonny had jumped in the river after downing a pint of alcohol. The teen's father, Joe Byrne, told 'It's cost my son his life.
