Man Utd given 'no choice' in Jadon Sancho transfer compromise with Juventus
Manchester United hope to sell Jadon Sancho and have a willing suitor in Serie A side Juventus but may have to alter their demands to get a deal over the line this summer Manchester United have accepted that they will have 'no choice' but to accept a fee of less than £25million from Juventus to facilitate a move this summer. The Italian giants have refused to meet the Red Devils' asking price and the Premier League side are now set to negotiate a new fee. Sancho is not part of United's plans under Ruben Amorim and is in search of pastures new during the transfer window. United had hoped to sell the winger for £25m after signing him for £73m in 2021. But the former Borussia Dortmund winger is in the final year of his contract and spent last season on loan at Chelsea. The Blues opted to pay a £5m penalty to avoid signing the England international permanently this summer. As a result, Sancho has returned to Old Trafford but is training away from United's first team. The 25-year-old joins Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia in being told to report for training but only from 5pm — after Amorim's side have completed their work of the day. And with little more than six weeks of the transfer window remaining, the club appear to have accepted they will need to alter their demands to move Sancho on. Football Italia report that Old Trafford chiefs have ultimately recognised they will not receive the fee they have been holding out for and must negotiate a lower figure. Sancho is said to be keen on a move to Juve and prepared to wait for Igor Tudor's side to do a deal. The Turin team have stepped up negotiations as a result as they look to agree a deal with United. The wantaway star has seen his salary pose problems this summer with Chelsea unable to come to terms. But Sancho is said to be willing to take a pay-cut to to accept an €8m-a-year (£7m) deal — less than half his reported current wages of £300,000-a-week. Juve meanwhile are said to be willing offer players to United in order to come to an agreement with United. Dusan Vlahovic is among those available, with the Serbian striker also in the final year of his deal. United have previously been interested in the forward who was heavily linked with Arsenal before moving to Turin. Now, the 25-year-old looks set to leave. Douglas Luiz is also said to be on offer. The former Aston Villa midfielder, 27, spent five years at Aston Villa before making the switch to Serie A but has failed to cement his place. Timothy Weah is reported to be another option available. The winger recently turned down a move to Nottingham Forest, it is said.

Exclusive: Juventus new £15m offer for Sancho to Manchester United
Football Italia can exclusively reveal that Juventus have increased their offer for Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho to £15m (circa €17.3m). This is considerably closer to the €25m asking price, which is considered frankly unrealistic considering he is already into the final year of his contract and has a massive salary. (Photo by) As we had already confirmed over the last 24 hours, there was more intense contact between Juve and Sancho's entourage, which resulted in a new proposal. It is worth £15m, circa €17.3m, and an improvement on the €15m including add-ons that had been rejected. It was already known that the player had agreed personal terms and that he was holding off on other alternatives to wait for the Bianconeri to get a deal over the line. Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea, who paid a fee to avoid buying him outright for even more. Still only 25 years of age, the winger was purchased from Borussia Dortmund for €85m in the summer of 2021.

Man United 'forced to negotiate lower fee with Juventus for sale of Jadon Sancho' as Red Devils come to terms that they will not receive £25m fee
Manchester United are reportedly set to negotiate a lower fee with Juventus for the sale of Jadon Sancho, with the Bianconeri refusing to pay the £25million already cut-price fee. Sancho, who joined United in 2021 for a hefty £73m fee, has just one year left on his contract after enduring a miserable time on the red half of Manchester. The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Chelsea, who had the chance to sign the winger on a permanent deal, but it is said that his wage demands were too high. Instead, the Blues opted to pay the Red Devils £5m to cancel the deal. Earlier this month, it had been reported that Juventus had expressed an interest in the United outcast; however, they are believed to have informed Ineos that they do not intend to fork out £25m to sign him. According to Football Italia, the Old Trafford club have now come to terms with the fact they will not get the fee they previously demanded, and have 'no choice' but to negotiate a lower price. Sancho is said to be keen on a move to Turin and is 'ready to wait' for the 36-time Serie A champions. Reports suggest he is willing to accept an €8m-a-year (£7m) contract at Juventus, which is significantly lower than the reported staggering £300,000-a-week he is on at United. Juventus have now stepped up talks with United as they aim to strike a deal for Sancho, who scored five goals and bagged 10 assists in all competitions for Chelsea last season. Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has previously suggested that Juve are considering a swap deal for Sancho, sending three stars, Douglas Luiz, Dusan Vlahovic, and Timothy Weah, the other way. United were said to have been made aware that all three players are for sale, though it is unclear if all three would have been involved in a deal for Sancho. The idea was reportedly raised during negotiations about the Englishman. Sancho is part of a quintet of unsettled stars who have been told to stay away from Carrington as the rest of the squad reported back at the training ground for pre-season last week. United sources say the decision to delay the return of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Sancho, and Tyrell Malacia is because they want to leave the club after going out on loan last season and now have more time to explore a move. The five players will still be allowed to access the medical and rehab facilities at Carrington if needed. However, by the time they are required to report for training later this month, if they remain at the club, Amorim and the rest of the squad will have gone on pre-season tour to the US.

Rashford and co summoned back to United... to train when Amorim has gone home
Manchester United's five outcasts have been summoned back to the club's Carrington training base this week – but at times that ensure no contact with Ruben Amorim and the rest of the first-team squad. Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia were given additional time away from United when the squad returned for pre-season last week amid uncertainty over their futures. But the unwanted players have now been instructed to start reporting back this week but only after 5pm once head coach Amorim and the rest of their team-mates have left Carrington and the main group sessions have ended. Amorim is eager to offload the quintet this summer to raise funds to reinvest in his squad and has adopted a ruthless approach with those out-of-favour players. The facilities at Carrington remained open for the five players to use last week if they wished so long as they were not there at the same time as Amorim and the main squad. Rashford took up that option to work with the club's fitness staff on several occasions last week in what was described as a co-ordinated return. Last Thursday, when only some of the youngest junior sides were at Carrington, he was joined at Carrington by Garnacho. Rashford, Sancho, Garnacho, Antony and Malacia have also been asked to come to Carrington this weekend when the rest of the first-team squad have travelled to Stockholm to face Leeds United in their opening pre-season friendly on Saturday. United sources indicated that the five players had informed the club they wished to leave, hence being given extra time off, but some of the players' camps have disputed that and made it clear they have been happy to return to training with the rest of the squad on July 7. Amorim and his squad are due to fly to Chicago on Tuesday for the start of their pre-season tour of the United States, where they are taking part in the Premier League Summer Series with Everton, Bournemouth and West Ham United. United – who have signed Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £62.5 million – are working to complete a deal for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo but will need to offload players to recruit other targets wanted by Amorim. The Portuguese would like a striker, central midfielder and centre-back while a hamstring injury to André Onana that may rule the Cameroonian out for around six weeks could force United into the market for a new goalkeeper. Meanwhile, Darren Fletcher has been appointed as lead coach of United's Under-18s team. The former United and Scotland manager, who has previously served as technical director and a first-team coach, eventually wants to move into management. Fletcher had considered senior academy roles in the past but was reluctant to take them up while his twin sons Jack and Tyler were eligible to represent those age groups. He will also take a key leadership role in the academy but will not now travel to the US with Amorim and the rest of his staff.

Ruben Amorim bans Man Utd bomb squad – including Marcus Rashford – from training ground until team-mates have gone home
MANCHESTER UNITED'S five outcasts have all been called back to work – but they will only train once the rest of the squad have gone home. Ruben Amorim decided ten days ago that Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia should stay away from first team training. 6 6 6 They were given extra time off to find new clubs – but as yet nothing has been finalised. So the quintet have now been told to return to Carrington although they will all report around 5pm once the manager and his chosen players have departed. And as yet there are no plans to re-integrate any of them into the main group. Amorim has put his players through their paces in the morning and early afternoon – so the first team squad will be long gone by the time the five report. United made it clear at the time their facilities would remain available to the players even though they are excluded from training. Rashford and Garnacho have both taken advantage of that offer and are believed to have trained together last Thursday. The England forward arrived just eight minutes after his manager had gone home – and the only other players left at the complex were the Under 10s. Rashford is eager to work around whatever obstacles he must to stay on top form and maintain the possibility of a move materialising later in the window. JOIN SUN VEGAS: GET £50 BONUS On Monday he was seen leaving a gym in Salford after a four-hour session training alone while waiting for the 5pm curfew to pass. 6 6 Now the 27-year-old and his four fellow exiles have also been told they will be expected to clock in this weekend. Juventus want Rashford! However Amorim and his players are heading for Sweden on Friday night ready for a pre-season game against Leeds in Stockholm the following day. And the following Tuesday, those selected will fly to the USA for a three-match tour spread over two weeks. Rashford is hoping Barcelona will firm up their interest and offer him an escape route to the Nou Camp in the coming weeks. Sancho is expected to join Juventus – while Garnacho has been linked with Chelsea and has also turned down a move to Saudi Arabia. Real Betis are hopeful they can lure Antony back to them after he impressed during a loan spell earlier this year. 6 And Celtic are leading the chase to land defender Malacia who has endured a miserable couple of years with injury. United are hoping to raise money from the five exiles to boost Amorim's spending power this summer. A £65million move for Brentford's Bryan Mbuemo has been lined up but the Cameroon returned to training with the Bees on Monday with nothing resolved. Amorim would love to have the 25-year-old in the squad that flies to the US next week for games against Bournemouth, West Ham and Everton.
