Man United 'forced to negotiate lower fee with Juventus for sale of Jadon Sancho' as Red Devils come to terms that they will not receive £25m fee

Manchester United are reportedly set to negotiate a lower fee with Juventus for the sale of Jadon Sancho, with the Bianconeri refusing to pay the £25million already cut-price fee.
Sancho, who joined United in 2021 for a hefty £73m fee, has just one year left on his contract after enduring a miserable time on the red half of Manchester.
The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Chelsea, who had the chance to sign the winger on a permanent deal, but it is said that his wage demands were too high. Instead, the Blues opted to pay the Red Devils £5m to cancel the deal.
Earlier this month, it had been reported that Juventus had expressed an interest in the United outcast; however, they are believed to have informed Ineos that they do not intend to fork out £25m to sign him.
According to Football Italia, the Old Trafford club have now come to terms with the fact they will not get the fee they previously demanded, and have 'no choice' but to negotiate a lower price.
Sancho is said to be keen on a move to Turin and is 'ready to wait' for the 36-time Serie A champions.
Reports suggest he is willing to accept an €8m-a-year (£7m) contract at Juventus, which is significantly lower than the reported staggering £300,000-a-week he is on at United.
Juventus have now stepped up talks with United as they aim to strike a deal for Sancho, who scored five goals and bagged 10 assists in all competitions for Chelsea last season.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has previously suggested that Juve are considering a swap deal for Sancho, sending three stars, Douglas Luiz, Dusan Vlahovic, and Timothy Weah, the other way.
United were said to have been made aware that all three players are for sale, though it is unclear if all three would have been involved in a deal for Sancho. The idea was reportedly raised during negotiations about the Englishman.
Sancho is part of a quintet of unsettled stars who have been told to stay away from Carrington as the rest of the squad reported back at the training ground for pre-season last week.
United sources say the decision to delay the return of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Sancho, and Tyrell Malacia is because they want to leave the club after going out on loan last season and now have more time to explore a move.
The five players will still be allowed to access the medical and rehab facilities at Carrington if needed.
However, by the time they are required to report for training later this month, if they remain at the club, Amorim and the rest of the squad will have gone on pre-season tour to the US.
