Nigerians in Ipswich Community has a WhatsApp group with over 890 members where they can seek help and support from others in Ipswich."It's been a blessing," Mr Akingbesote said."We always want to come together, see people, talk to people, speak your language with them."We are here to help everyone settle, we here to contribute positively to the Suffolk county as a host community for Nigerians."We keep raising the bar and we keep representing."
Mr Akingbesote said the beach carnival was a family-friendly event and open to everyone."We're going to do a lot of games - tug of war, egg race, sack race, dance competitions, food eating competitions, drink competitions - a lot of stuff that day."For people who like to play chess or play scrabble, we will have table games."We will have couples dance competitions to make it fun, and as well we've got music and our DJ live there."There will also be an after party held from 22:00 BST to 03:00 at Murrayside Community Centre in Nacton Road, Ipswich.

In today's episode, Avani was up bright and early to meet Barney ahead of her appointment. Dad Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) is still very much in the dark about what was troubling his daughter, or indeed where she planned to go. The singer, 27, sent temperatures soaring as she posed up a storm in the racy number by a fence on the beach. The Escapism hitmaker showcased plenty of cleavage in the low-cut swimsuit which plunged to the navel and showed off her sensational figure. Raye then put on an eye-popping display as she slipped into a nude bra paired with a gold satin structured corset and embellished midi skirt adorned with feathers. She accessorised with a stack of pearl necklaces and statement silver earrings. The star also shared some recent moments from the past month which included her performances on stage and some sweet snaps with family. Alongside the snaps, she penned: 'I know it's July but I've been writing this song called The Winter Woman. Bristol neurodivergent group Neon Daisy publish new magazine
A new magazine has been created to help young people who are neurodivergent feel connected and Neon Daisy magazine, filled with poetry, artwork, selfcare tips and comic strips, has been put together by a team of girls who are autistic from Bristol and South of the money made from magazine sales will go back into community events, the organisation has facilitator Serafina Kiszko said they hope the project will help young people who are currently experiencing "disconnection and isolation because of their differences". "We wanted to create something that we could send to people, that people could buy, that might make them feel less alone and remind them that they do have a community," they said."The young people that we work with, and I'm sure a lot of other young people across the UK, are really experiencing feelings of disconnection and isolation because of their differences."Even though it is aimed at people who are neurodivergent, the team said the magazine is still for everyone to enjoy. Rosa from the Neon Daisy magazine team said she hoped it will help people realise they are "special"."I just really hope that the magazine and Neon Daisy as a whole will help people find out that they might just not be weird, and that they might just not be the odd one out, and that they're actually somebody really special," she said."That's what I found out even before Neon Daisy started. They want people to have the same realisation dawn on them that they are someone special."All paper copies can be bought from Whapping Wharf in Bristol or can be purchased online. The Neon Daisy team said they are hoping to get funding for their next issue.
