Barbie is letting "You Create" your own doll for the first-time ever.
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Barbie Basics, a line of collector's edition Barbie dolls, the dollmaker is releasing a brand-new line of mix-and-match Barbie dolls complete with swappable doll bodies, heads, wigs and universal fit fashions.
The more customers collect, the more unique looks they can create to play and display their unique Barbie collection, Mattel Creations said in a Friday news release. The first of three "You Create" kits was made available for purchase online starting Feb. 28 for $100.
Additional details about the Barbie's newest line will be released through a virtual event hosted by Mattel Creations on Thursday.
"For years, Barbie collectors have been putting their own spin on the iconic doll form – through customizing their Barbie dolls' rooted hair, sewing their own looks and even painting doll faces with custom glam," a statement from Mattel Creations reads. "In fact, more than a third of Barbie adult fans buy Barbie dolls with the intent of customizing them, as they crave styles that reflect their own personal look."
Here's what to know about Barbie's "You Create" kits, including what accessories are included.

The Barbie Basics dolls will be available for purchase sometime this spring, but the "You Create" kits are already available for purchase.

Barbie honors singer Alicia Keys, recording engineer with dolls
Barbie announced Thursday it would be honoring women in music with two new dolls representing important roles in the music industry: musical artist and tour manager.
The dolls, inspired by Grammy-award winning singer Alicia Keys and her relationship with her recording and mix engineer, Ann Mincieli, who founded "She Is The Music," an industry-wide movement to empower female creators.
The 2025 Barbie Women in Music Career of the Year set also aims to inspire the next generation of women who will be the music industry's future creators. The dolls, also released Thursday, can be purchased online for $29.99 from Mattel Shop, Amazon, Target and Mattel Creations.
"This year's Barbie Career of the Year set recognizes the accomplishments of women in music, while shining a spotlight on careers in the industry that might not be as well-known as a musical artist," Krista Berger, senior vice president of Barbie and the global head of dolls at Mattel, said in a news release. "Recognizing that only 22% of artists across music charts are female, the Barbie Musical Artist doll celebrates the women leaving their hearts on the stage by performing and singing their own music across genres."

Taylor Swift files restraining order against man who claims she had his baby

Taylor Swift has been granted a temporary restraining order against a Colorado man who insisted she's the mother of his child. The pop star filed the order alleging that Brian Jason Wagner "made various statements about living at my property"; "being in a relationship with me"; believing I am the mother of his son"; and "needing to see me in person", according to documents obtained by Page Six. "All of which are untrue and disconnected from reality." Swift claimed Wagner first turned up at her Los Angeles home in 2024 and returned several times that July. "On at least one of the occasions in July 2024, Mr Wagner was carrying a glass bottle that could have been used as a weapon," the documents read. The Lover singer claimed Wagner again visited her home in May 2025, stating he "was there checking on a friend (again, this is entirely untrue)". Swift's security team uncovered that Wagner had been in jail and had allegedly written lengthy letters to the Grammy winner about his infatuation with her, a romantic relationship with her (which does not exist), and other fabricated stories about his involvement in Swift's personal life. The filing states that Wagner allegedly found a way to put the Cruel Summer singer's address on his driver's license and attempted to send her mail to his home. The temporary restraining order was granted on Monday and will expire on 30 June.

The photo of the seat assignment, shared by wedding planner Ellie Nottoli on Instagram Monday, June 9, also revealed that the couple was placed at table 13 — famously Swift's lucky number, which she used to paint on her hand for live performances during her early touring years. Other photos offered a behind-the-scenes look at the sky blue and butter yellow spring wedding color palette, as well as the setup of the whimsical outdoor wedding, including the blue hydrangea centerpieces. PEOPLE reached out to Nottoli for comment, but did not immediately hear back. The couple stepped out for the wedding in Tennessee on Friday, June 6. Photos and videos quickly circulated online after one attendee posted a snap of Swift talking to fellow wedding attendees with the caption, 'not taylor swift being at my friends friends cousins wedding." In additional photos and videos shared by guests at the ceremony, Swift, 35, wore a blue floral midi dress paired with brown platform sandals and her natural blonde waves. Kelce, 35, wore a striped button-down shirt, brown slacks, and black shoes. The "Fortnight" singer was seen spending time outdoors with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and their fellow wedding guests. Fans took to social media after Nottoli shared wedding details on social media — including the seat assignments for Swift and Kelce. One reposted an image of the invitation to X, and wrote: "TABLE 13????? TAYLOR AND TRAVIS KELCE????😭😭😭 THIS IS SO SERIOUS😭😭." Another added, "TAYLOR AND TRAVIS KELCE?!????? EXUSE ME." While a third wondered, "should i say congratulations? 🤫💍" Swift and Kelce's appearance at the wedding came shortly after the news of Swift acquiring her first six masters from Shamrock Capital after they were previously purchased by Scooter Braun. The 14-time Grammy winner announced in an Instagram post that she regained control of her first six albums, directing fans to a handwritten letter posted to her website. "Hi. I'm trying to gather my thoughts into something coherent, but right now my mind is just a slideshow," Swift wrote in the opening of the letter. "A flashback sequence of all the times I daydreamed about, wished for, and pined away for a chance to get to tell you this news. All the times I was thiiiiiiiiiiiiis close, reaching out for it, only for it to fall through. I almost stopped thinking it could ever happen, after 20 years of having the carrot dangled then yanked away. But that's all in the past now," she continued. Read the original article on People
