This Unknown Supercar Just Broke a Top Gear Lap Record
The Praga Bohema is a Czech-made supercar that debuted early last year. You
may or may not have heard of it
. Either way, deliveries began late last year, and now one example has lapped the
Top Gear
Test Track in the United Kingdom faster than any pure combustion car before it.
The supercar uses a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-6 engine sourced from the
Nissan GT-R
and modified by Praga with bespoke turbos, a dry sump, and a titanium exhaust system. It makes 700 horsepower and 535 pound-feet of torque, pairing with a six-speed sequential gearbox.

The car can hit 62 miles per hour in less than three seconds and reach a top speed of 197 miles per hour. All that power allowed the car to lap the track in 1 minute, 9.8 seconds. The Praga almost beat the
Aston Martin Valkyrie's lap time
of 1 minute, 9.7 seconds, and the Aston is a 1,140-horsepower hybrid.
What the Bohema lacks in power, it compensates for in lightness and aerodynamics. The car weighs less than 2,300 pounds and can create up to 1,984 pounds of downforce at 155 miles per hour.

Likely helping Praga get the best time out of the Bohema was the driver,
Ben Collins
, the former Stig from the
Top Gear
show, who's now a Praga test driver. He drove the car to the track on road tires and completed the lap without any modifications to the supercar. According to Praga, he simply donned his race suit, warmed up the tires, and attacked the track.
Praga has already allowed customers to drive the Bohema, and it'll deliver three more cars to customers at this year's
Goodwood Festival of Speed
, including the first US owner. Praga, a company founded in 1907, plans to build just 89 examples of the supercar.

Amazon Slashes Price On Its Kindle Colorsoft Just In Time For Father's Day
Amazon refreshed its range of Kindle ebook readers last October, with an overhaul for the entire range. It included the first ever color Kindle, called the Colorsoft. That Kindle is suddenly on sale for 19% off. Kindle Colorsoft. The thing about the Kindle Colorsoft is that it has been highly praised, but many commenters said that there was just one problem: the price. If that was the barrier for you to upgrading, the current offer may tempt you. Available at the U.K. Amazon site, it's currently the only one of the latest Kindle range to see a price cut. And it's a sizeable one: £50 ($67.30) off means the price tumbles from £269.99 ($363) to £219.99 ($296.12). Here's the link. The Colorsoft has a lot in common with the Kindle Paperwhite: both have the fastest page turns ever on Kindle, and seven-inch screens (the basic Kindle, for comparison, has a six-inch display), have flush-front designs and are waterproof so you can read in the bath without panicking. The Colorsoft is only available in what's called a Signature Edition, which has 32GB storage. The Paperwhite also comes in a Signature Edition and it matches this 32GB storage. Both Signature Editions have auto-adjusting front light sensors, while the regular Paperwhite needs you to adjust the brightness yourself. Oh, and both Signature Editions are wireless-chargeable. Of course, the other big difference is that the Colorsoft has a color display, with subtle, pastel colors bringing cookery books, travel guides and graphic novels to life. The thing is, the price cut has now brought the price of the Colorsoft much closer to the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition's cost of £189.99 ($256). So, if you were thinking of moving up to the Paperwhite Signature Edition, an extra £30 ($40) gains you color as well. What's more, if you have an old Kindle that works, you can trade it in to save more money, up to 20% extra.

French Open: Jannik Sinner drops just 3 games to extend Grand Slam unbeaten run to 17 matches
PARIS (AP) — When Jannik Sinner's opponent in the French Open's third round finally won a single game Saturday, the Court Suzanne-Lenglen crowd responded with a standing ovation. Sinner was simply too good on this day, extending his Grand Slam winning streak to 17 matches and looking very much like the No. 1-ranked man. Sinner dominated Jiri Lehecka 6-0, 6-1, 6-2 in just 1 hour, 34 minutes, the quickest men's match at Roland-Garros this year and, measured by games lost, the most lopsided victory at a major tournament of Sinner's career. 'We try to improve,' Sinner said. 'Today, I don't think there are many things I can improve.' Can say that again. Check out some of the numbers: Sinner delivered 31 winners and made only nine unforced errors. He accumulated 18 break points, converting seven, and faced just one, which he saved. The first 11 games went Sinner's way. When Sinner missed a return wide, making the score 6-0, 5-1 after 55 minutes of action, Lehecka raised his arm and pumped his fist in a bit of sarcastic celebration. The fans went wild, rising out of their seats and clapping and shouting, eliciting a smile from Lehecka. Make no mistake, though. Lehecka is no also-ran. The rapper matches one of the most exciting superstars in his chosen field today as he doubles up on the tally. "Shake That," Eminem's collaboration with Nate Dogg, returns to the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart this week. The cut barely manages to reenter the ranking of the bestselling tunes that can be classified as R&B, rap, or hip-hop in the U.S., landing in last place. "Shake That" joins "Lose Yourself," which lifts one space to No. 7. As "Shake That" returns, Eminem joins Kendrick Lamar as the only two musicians to occupy more than one space on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales list. Lamar claims twice as many current wins as Eminem, with four current smashes. Lamar also manages to rank higher than Eminem this period – though both of the latter musician's current bestsellers are much, much older than Lamar's. His tunes "Luther" with SZA, "Not Like Us," and "Put TV Off" with Lefty Gunplay and 'Squabble Up' appear at Nos. 4, 6, 9, and 11, respectively. A number of other hip-hop powerhouses manage to remain on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart as well, but at the moment, none fill more than a single space. "Anxiety" by Doechii leads for its fourth frame, which represents the entirety of its time on the roster. Drake's former No. 1 "Nokia" dips to third place, landing just ahead of Lamar's highest-rising success. Several other well-known figures like The Weeknd, Playboi Carti, and Pharrell Williams also take up space with former champions. "Shake That" was released decades ago, but has recently surged in popularity after going viral. The tune peaked at No. 8 earlier this month and is one of Eminem's 69 top 10 hits on the tally. "Lose Yourself," which has now spent 468 frames somewhere on this roster, has somehow only ever peaked at No. 2.
