adidascontinues to iterate on its retro fusion model, theTaekwondo F50, with a new pared-back 'Silver Metallic leather variant — a versatile companion to the shoe's candy-hued colorways. Furthering the brand's push for a season defined by football aesthetics, the hybrid sneaker is a combination of the 2006-born F50 field boot and Y2k-eraTaekwondomartial arts trainer.
The Taekwondo F50 forgoes the original Taekwondo's three-strip overlays for a smooth upper reminiscent of the OG F50, featuring sporty metallic decals. With the adidas wordmark isolated to the heel tab, insole, and outsoles, the model is tastefully discreet in its logo applications. Though named 'Silver Metallic,' the colorway is grounded in a black leather upper — an ideal canvas for the lightweight metallic prints.
The wrap-style closure, signature to the Taekwondo shoe, is both futuristic and rooted in traditional inspirations. The functional simplicity lends itself to the forward-thinking considerations of modern design while also touching on Taekwondo's ancient Korean origins. A visual thread runs through the martial arts' robe-like uniforms and the silhouettes' convenient wrap closure.
While an official release date has yet to surface for the 'Silver Metallic' colorway, the shoe is expected to drop soon in Fall 2025 viaadidas.

"Nostalgia for the past"... Real Madrid announces its third jersey for next season.

New creation from Adidas for Real Madrid. "Nostalgia for the past"... Real Madrid announces its third jersey for next season. Spanish giants Real Madrid have unveiled their third kit for the upcoming season in collaboration with German sports giant Adidas, the club's official sponsor. Where did the idea come from and what is its symbolism? To celebrate the 74th anniversary of the birth of the German sports giant, Adidas wanted to launch something special for Real Madrid. As it did with Arsenal, AS Roma, and Bayern Munich, Adidas designed a dark blue kit, similar to the distinctive navy, to be Real Madrid's third kit. This time, Adidas focused on making the shirt's color somewhat similar to one of the colors of the Bernabéu's foldable seats. They also added a clover plant, Adidas' old logo, to give a sense of the 1980s and that era.

Roma to reintroduce ASR crest in 26/27 season

Starting in 2026/27, the old crest used from 1997 to 2013 will return to Roma's jerseys. This is the latest report by news portal Footy Headlines. The reason why the crest will not be used in 2025/26 is related to production. The kits for the upcoming season, made by Adidas, were already in an advanced stage of production when the club announced its decision to return to the previous crest in June. Therefore, it was not possible to modify the kits released for the season that begins in a few weeks. The Giallorossi fans have warmly welcomed the club's decision.

Liverpool ready to agree incredible buyback clause

Liverpool are ready to agree on a buyback clause as they attempt to get their latest deal over the line. The Reds continue to be busy. Liverpool have been one of the busiest clubs in Europe this summer - if not the busiest. The Reds have pushed an incredible number of deals over the line, both in and out. Florian Wirtz is the headline act, of course. He arrived for a club-record fee and immediately transforms Liverpool's squad. LFC x adidas Shop the home range today! He's a title-winner, twice voted the best player in Germany at 22, and someone who could be the star of this Liverpool team post-Mo Salah. But in signing Wirtz, Liverpool cast an awful lot of doubt over Harvey Elliott. The playmaker already had doubt over his future, admittedly, given Arne Slot barely played him last season. Now, though, it looks like Elliott is on his way out. Liverpool want buyback clause Football Transfers reports that Liverpool want a buyback clause for Elliott as talks with Tottenham Hotspur accelerate. Spurs are eager to sign the player after James Maddison was ruled out for the foreseeable future. We feel a move to Tottenham would be fantastic for Elliott but at the same time, we'd be sad to see him go. There's clearly a fantastic player in there - one who can be absolutely magic at times. But it's increasingly clear that Elliott will not fulfil his potential at Liverpool. The competition is simply too great in his best positions, especially after Wirtz joined.
