Frank Warren names potential final foe for Derek Chisora
Promoter Frank Warren has intimated that heavyweight stalwart Derek Chisora may be in line for a fight against Joseph Parker.
In a video posted to the Queensberry Promotions YouTube channel, Warren said that he was looking to put together a 'big, big' fight for Chisora, 36-13 (23), who has said that whatever comes next will be his final bout.
Warren said: 'Obviously for his fiftieth, he's said it's going to be his last, and he wants it to be a big, big fight. And he's in a position where he's the mandatory challenger for the title.'
According to the IBF, Chisora is currently the mandatory challenger for its heavyweight title, which is held by Daniel Dubois.
Chisora last fought in February when he scored a twelve-round decision over Otto Wallin in an IBF eliminator and is currently on a three-fight winning streak following his tenth-round loss to Tyson Fury in 2022.
Warren said that following the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Dubois, there will be some clarity within the heavyweight division.
He said: 'There's four belts on the line. We're going to find out who's the best, who's the champion, and then all these mandatories are going to kick in. So all these guys are in the number one spot, or they're interim champions. It's going to open up for them.'
He added: 'I have no idea at this stage, but the first one in will be the WBO mandatory. That's the one that's been ordered, and it's due. And that's Joseph Parker.'
Warren said that he would love to put on a third fight between Parker and Chisora. The former, he said, was looking to fight once more in September.
The heavyweight scene, Warren said, was on fire with a potential fight in Germany involving Agit Kabayel and the possibility of Joe Joyce fighting once again.
David Adeleye was another heavyweight that Warren spoke about. Without giving any detail, Warren said that there was a 'big, big' announcement coming soon.

Tyson Fury jokingly made offer to Wayne Rooney before Oleksandr Usyk fight
The former two-time boxing world champion will link up with Rooney on Sunday as the pair are set to co-manage England against the World XI at Soccer Aid 2025 Tyson Fury once jokingly asked former Manchester United star Wayne Rooney to spar with him prior to facing Oleksandr Usyk. The 36-year-old is no stranger when it comes inviting various big names to come and spar with him in his gym in Morecambe. However, even Rooney himself may have been a little shocked by the invitation. Fury's comments came after the ex-England striker praised the boxer after his win over Derek Chisora back in December 2022. "I think he's the best we've seen in a long time, and I don't think anyone will beat him,' Rooney told talkSPORT after the fight. 'I think he's an absolute legend for what he's done for boxing. He's entertaining, his skills are incredible, his mentality is incredible. If I'm being honest, I probably think he should be knighted because he hasn't been afraid to go abroad, he's won titles abroad, defended them abroad and he epitomises everything that boxing is.' Unsurprisingly, Rooney's comments quickly made their way to Fury - who was blown away by the support. So much so that he even invited the forward to train with him after jokingly admitting that he needed someone "smaller" to help prepare for the Ukrainian. ' Wayne Rooney is a proper legend, and I grew up watching him as a youngster for England and [Manchester] United. So, that's [an] amazing, amazing speech from him,' Fury told talkSPORT. 'He's a massive boxing fan, he comes from a boxing family as well. So, hopefully, we can have a little spar in the future sometime. I do need someone smaller to prepare for Usyk. Wayne, if you're listening, get on the blower, son!" He added: 'As daft and bizarre as this might sound to people, I'm really happy with who I am,' he added. 'I'm the people's champion. I don't really need some accolade, award, or promotion to let me know who I am, what I do, or who I am inside. I know that I don't really need a claim to say, 'Oh, he's a Sir or he's a whatever.' Fury had to wait nearly two years after the Chisora fight to get his Usyk wish. In 2023, the 'Gypsy King' famously went head-to-head with former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou. Despite being dropped by the 'Predator,' Fury would go on to score a tight victory on points. The Brit first fought the Ukrainian last May. Despite having success towards the midway point, Usyk turned the tide in the second half of the contest and would go on to get the job done via split decision. The pair fought for a second time back in December - with Usyk picking up his second win against the Morecambe brawler - this time winning by unanimous decision. Just a few weeks on from the sequel, the 'Gypsy King' shocked the boxing world after announcing his retirement from the sport of boxing. On Sunday, both Fury and Rooney will team up as the pair will co-manage England at this year's Soccer Aid. Following the news that Fury would be involved in the match, he said: 'ENGLAND MANAGER! Who would ever have thought it!? I have had some big fights in my career and the prospect of leading my England team to victory this June fills me with just as much excitement as any heavyweight fight. "Everyone knows that I am a huge Manchester United fan too, so it's even more special for me that the game is at Old Trafford this year – and I get to manage one of my heroes, Wayne Rooney! How can we lose!? The work UNICEF does all around the world is so special and so important. I really hope that you can come along and support us this summer.'

I trained with Daniel Dubois wearing Brooks' new Ghost 17 trainers - here's why we think they're the ultimate running shoe
When you think of Daniel Dubois, what is the first thing that comes to mind? Power. Pure power. Dubois is the most explosive heavyweight boxer in the sport. Each punch that he lands on the pads as Mail Sport watches him in training creates a thunderous sound that echoes around the gym. After all, these are the hands that sat down Anthony Joshua four times under the Wembley arch, which can be seen in all its glory from the Farm Gym – situated in the tranquil rural bowels of Elstree - and made him the IBF world heavyweight champion. But there is more to Dubois than just power. As he trains for the biggest fight of his life – a rematch with the great Oleksandr Usyk on July 19 to unify the heavyweight belts – the 27-year-old is putting in an unfathomable amount of hours both in and outside the ring to ensure he is in peak condition under the arch once again. One of the key aspects of his training is running, lots of running, and that's why Mail Sport has been invited down to the champion's inner sanctum. We were given the opportunity by Brooks Running, who are the footwear partner of Dubois, to slide on the newly-released Brooks Ghost 17 and smash some tarmac with Dynamite DDD. It's clear to see why the heavyweight champ has turned to Brooks, and this shoe, in particular. They are the most reliable trainer on the market and are the perfect fit for his style of conditioning training. 'As a fighter, you need to do that endurance work,' Dubois tells Mail Sport from within the heart of the Farm Gym. 'I do clear your head runs, 30 to 40 minutes. 'I love running – it's easy. Once you get into it – the initial part is tough – but when you get into it, like the flow of everything, it becomes easy.' Endurance work is exactly what the Ghost 17 is made for. This shoe is a fan-favourite, and the reasons become evident within the first few strides I take alongside Dubois and other members of the press. I know heaps of runners who swear by Brooks, with many clocking up the majority of miles in previous iterations of the Ghost shoe. This was the first time I have ever laced up a pair myself, and I enjoy every step in them. Comfort and support The support they provide is unparalleled. They wrap around your foot like a malleable phone case. There is the right amount of stiffness to lock your feet in place while providing the comfort necessary when notching up a significant amount of miles. In running, the saying goes: 'Not one shoe fits all'. I don't think that's the case with the Ghost 17, bar the literal size of the shoe. It's a trainer that works for all runners, regardless of their level. 'Brooks shoes have quickly become a key part of my training gear keeping me and my team comfortable and supported while I'm in training camp,' says Dubois. Performance For elite runners, whether that be a marathoner or a 5k specialist, this is not a model I would take into combat against the best racers on the road. However, it's perfect for long and easy runs within a high-mileage training camp. The same applies to beginners, recreational runners, experienced stompers, or just anyone who wants to clear their head. This is a shoe that is made for miles upon miles of light jogging – they are incredibly durable. Material and specs There is a wedge of a sole – that follows the trend of all trainers these days – which provides more than enough cushioning below a light, airy, and breathable upper. The nitrogen-infused foam is both sturdy and energetic, allowing you to drive off the tarmac with little stress of rolling your ankle. They are a bit more heavy-duty than many trainers on the market, but that's not a bad thing. The reason it's like that is to ensure you can get as many miles out of the sole as possible. These trainers can last you years, which can't be said for many other running shoes on the market. The weight does impact your ability to peg it at pace, but as I said, that's not what these are for. Don't get me wrong, you can shift in them, but not to the pace you would want when doing tempo runs or intervals. That being said, it's still a versatile trainer. Dubois doesn't seem to be having any issues notching up the pace as it comes to the final stretch of our run - I can't get near him. The worst thing for my ego is the fact he is laughing as he stretches away. I reckon I would have had him if I had another 25 miles. Brooks Ghost 17 £135.00 Shop The Ghost 17 is fairly pricey at £135, however, don't let that dissuade you from purchasing them. The longevity and durability of the trainer make the cost worth it, you will get plenty of bang for your buck. As Dubois says himself, Brooks 'are the best in class in their sector', and I know plenty of runners feel the same way. After testing them out with the big man himself, it's certainly a shoe that I will add to my rotation. Bring on the long runs in these durable demons.

Live Le Mans 2025: Latest updates from 24 hour race
14 June 2025 1:35pm 1:35PM In the hands of the gods… The weather has decided too many previous Le Mans' to remember, with the threat and risk of rain never far away. Given the track is an enormous 13.6km long, sections of the track can be drenched while the rest of it remains dry, such is the uncertainty over when and where storms could hit. Catch the rain at the wrong time and it can wreck an entire race, but catch it at the right times and teams can gain significant ground if the gods play into their favour. So how is the forecast looking for the next 24 hours? There is a fair deal of cloud around as we head towards the start, but there hasn't been any showers so far today and the forecast suggests we should be in store for a completely dry race, with Sunday looking to be a lovely blend of sunshine and clearer skies. However, the French Meteo Office issued a severe weather warning alert this morning that there remains the risk of severe thunderstorms, and given we've had a major downpour every day this week without fail, I'll believe a fully dry race when I see it. 1:23PM Welcome to Le Mans! The 93rd edition of Le Mans 24 Hours promises to be one of the most competitive events in the race's 102-year history as Cadillac, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, Toyota, Alpine, Aston Martin and Peugeot battle it out for victory. The gruelling endurance race is made up of three categories, with the top-class Hypercars made of the world's leading supercar manufacturers. With three drivers for each car, teams must mix speed, strategy and precision to stay the course of the 24 hours' racing and reach the finish line in one piece. Behind the Hypercars comes the LMP2 category - Le Mans Prototype 2 to give it its full name - which consists of privateer teams who run similar-looking cars to the Hypercar category, albeit within the hybrid energy system that makes the top class that little bit faster. Finally, the LMGT3 class is filled with GT cars, racing versions of the supercars you'll see on the road with a mix of Ferraris, Porsches, Aston Martins, McLarens, Corvettes, BMWs, Ford's, Mercedes' and even a pair of Lexus'. The race gets under way from 3pm on Saturday - 4pm local time here in Le Mans - and concludes at the same time on Sunday with drivers running through the night in their bid to be the first to the finish line. Telegraph Sport will be with you for the entire duration, bringing you all the latest updates from the paddock as we follow the biggest challenge in motorsport.
