On Sunday, June 15, the retired NFL star, 47, celebrated Father's Day by reflecting on how his own dad has shaped the way he parents his three kids.
The athlete shares son John "Jack" Edward Thomas, 17, with his ex Bridget Moynahan, as well as Benjamin Rein, 15, and Vivian Lake, 12, with his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.
"Happy Father's Day to my dad who taught me everything about what it means to be a father. And to all the Dads out there that who are great role models to their kids," Brady captioned a carousel of images on Instagram. "My dad has always been my biggest supporter, my best friend, and my number one teacher not just in sports but in life. The values he passed on to our family — hard work, integrity, compassion, and unconditional love, shaped me in every way."
He continued, "Each day I try to live up to the example he set: to be present and to make sure my kids know how much I love and care about them. I'm grateful for every moment and it's a pleasure watching these three beautiful angels grow up! ❤️❤️❤️"
Brady's post started with a picture of his parents sitting on an outdoors lounge chair. The pair had their arms around each other as they posed for the snap. The post continued with images of Brady with his three kids, as well as a picture of the athlete with his parents.
One snap showed Brady with his arms around his two sons as they stood on a football field, while another was of the proud dad sitting on a chair with all three kids on his lap.
Brady's latest post comes after he shared a sweet Father's Day message on Instagram last year, posting a shot of him and his dad, as well as another photo of him and both of his parents, Galynn Patricia and Tom Brady Sr.
He wrote, "Happy Father's Day to my HERO, and the best role model I could have ever asked for."
"And THANK YOU, to these kids for giving me the gift of being a father, a joy that I could have never imagined until you came into my life. I hope that I can give you all that my dad gave me… unconditional love and support ❤️❤️❤️," he added to his children, sharing pictures of them on a boat and posing on the beach.
Brady has spoken openly about parenthood through the years, previously sharing on an April 2024 episode of DeepCut with VicBlends that he was "winging it" when he first became a dad.
He said, "You get better as a parent, I think, because you know when you're a young parent, you don't really know what you're doing. You're winging it. You're trying to wing it."
The former New England Patriots quarterback shared, "So I think when you become a parent, you're trying new things for the first time, you're going through all these things for the first time so you don't exactly know always the right thing to say. As you go, you get a little bit better at it, you get a little more understanding of it and you try to just continue to kind of refresh your skills as a parent."
"'Am I listening or am I talking? Am I mentoring, or am I disciplining? Am I holding them accountable or am I letting them get away with things?' " the dad of three explained at the time.

During an appearance at the Fortune Global Forum in New York City in November, Brady admitted that "being a parent is probably the hardest job all of us have," PEOPLE previously reported.
"And we screw up a lot and I've screwed up a lot as a parent," he said, adding, "I don't want to seem like I'm some expert in parenting, because I'm certainly not that."
Brady insisted that he tried to "be dependable and consistent for them" and supportive of what "they want to do in life," while talking about his "three amazing kids."

Insider: Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty skipping Preakness Stakes damages horse racing
There will be no Triple Crown winner this year as Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty will skip the Preakness Stakes, a decision that stunned the horse-racing world. Trainer Bill Mott told reporters the team is keeping Sovereignty out of the Preakness due to 'long-term interests,' though the horse is still scheduled to run in the third leg of the Triple Crown, the Belmont Stakes, on June 7 at Saratoga Race Course in New York. Advertisement In an interview with Sportsnaut's Evan Groat, senior writer Bob Ehalt said the decision to keep Sovereignty from running in the Preakness 'doesn't help the sport.' 'They're wondering, well, why aren't you going?' said Ehalt. 'Certainly it has to hurt a race like the Preakness when you don't have the Triple Crown in play and even more so the Belmont Stakes where they have not had a Triple Crown bid since 2018 when Justify won it all.' Based on Mott's comments about the horse's long-term interests, Ehalt believes that Mott and horse racing team Godolphin — founded by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the prime minister of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai — have different priorities for Sovereignty. 'I think there is a desire amongst Godolphin and Bill Mott to win races down the road in like the Travers [which] is what Bill Mott would call a bucket list item,' noted Ehalt. 'And certainly Dubai World Cup next year, being that the owner of Sovereignty is Sheikh Mohammed, who founded the race, certainly that would be a plum for him to win that race with one of his own horses.' Advertisement Ehalt questioned, however, how running in the Preakness would have impacted Sovereignty's preparation for those future races. 'But I don't necessarily get how running in the Preakness is going to prevent you from winning the Travers or winning the Dubai World Cup,' said Ehalt. 'I mean, if he gets beat in the Preakness, well, you skip the Belmont and you point for those other races.' Journalism, the pre-Kentucky Derby favorite who finished second, will run in the Preakness. Nine horses are set to compete in the 150th running of the Preakness Stakes on Saturday, May 17 at 6:50 p.m. ET. The race will air on NBC and CNBC and stream on Peacock. Men's College World Series 2025: Louisville scores 6 in 8th inning to eliminate Arizona, Coastal Carolina wins 25th straight
Day 3 of the 2025 Men's College World Series saw two teams advance, one team eliminated and one other team sent to the loser's bracket. UCLA and LSU will meet on Monday in the winner's bracket after wins on Saturday, preceded by Murray State and Arkansas attempting to avoid elimination earlier in the day. Coastal Carolina 6, Oregon State 2 The nation's longest winning streak continued on Sunday, as No. 13 Coastal Carolina dominated No. 8 Oregon State thanks to a career night by starting pitcher Jacob Morrison. Advertisement Morrison, a mid-round 2025 MLB Draft prospect, allowed only one run and five hits in 7 2/3 innings of work against a talented Beavers lineup. After allowing his sole run on a homer by Easton Talt, Morrison retired 16 straight batters. Morrison exited in the bottom of the eighth inning after allowing runners on the corners with two outs, but right fielder Blagen Pado held off the comeback with a diving catch. Coastal Carolina got all the runs it needed in the first inning, when a bases-loaded double by Colby Thorndyke put three early runs on the board. Oregon State star Gavin Turley got a solo homer in the ninth inning and the Beavers threatened to score more, but the Chanticleers held on for a 6-2 win and their 25th straight victory. Advertisement Oregon State will now face the winner of Sunday's earlier game, Louisville on Tuesday. Coastal Carolina will get the winner of that game on Wednesday. Louisville 8, Arizona 3 After trailing since the first inning, Louisville scored six runs in the eighth to shock Arizona for an 8-3 win. The Wildcats were eliminated from the MCWS with the defeat. Zion Rose dropped an opposite-field single down the right-field line to drive in Jake Munroe and Eddie King Jr. to give Louisville a 4-3 lead in the eighth. Munroe led off the inning by reaching on an error from Arizona shortstop Mason White. King and Tague Davis followed with consecutive singles, setting up Rose's RBI hit. Davis was thrown out at home while attempting to score on Garret Pike's grounder. But Kamau Neighbors drove Rose in with a single, and Alex Alicea brought home another with a sacrifice bunt. From there, Pluta gave up two straight singles to Lucas Moore and Matt Klein to bring in one more run. Advertisement Shell-shocked after the six-run barrage, Arizona got two runners on against Louisville reliever Tucker Biven with singles from Easton Breyfogle and Aaron Walton. But Biven recovered to strike out White and got Adonys Guzman to fly out to center field to finish off what felt like an improbable victory. The Cardinals advance to play the loser of Sunday night's Coastal Carolina-Oregon State matchup and keep the possibility of moving on in the tournament alive. Louisville starting pitcher Ethan Eberle helped Arizona take a first-inning lead, hitting Walton and White with pitches. White was thrown out at third after a single from Guzman scored Walton. Guzman then came in to score on consecutive singles by Maddox Mihalakis and Garen Caulfield. Advertisement The Cardinals cut the deficit in half when Munroe and King led off the second inning with back-to-back singles. Munroe came around to score on a grounder by Rose. However, the Wildcats got that run right back in the top of the third with a home run from Guzman. Arizona starter Smith Bailey held that 3-1 lead until the seventh inning, when Louisville led off with a Garret Pike double and bunt single from Neighbors. Bailey was relieved by Garrett Hicks, who allowed a sacrifice fly by Lucas Moore. Bailey pitched six innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks with four strikeouts. Then Hicks and Pluta combined to allow six runs (only two of them earned) in a late-inning meltdown. For the Cardinals, Eberle allowed those three runs in his 3 2/3 innings. Wyatt Danilowicz and Biven kept Arizona off the board for 5 1/3 innings to enable the comeback. The Wildcats had an opportunity to add to their lead in the eighth after two straight two-out singles by Caulfield and Andrew Cain off Biven. However, the junior right-hander got Tommy Splaine to ground out to shortstop to end the threat and begin Louisville's rally.

Billy Ray Cyrus pens emotional Father's Day post as family tension lingers
Billy Ray Cyrus reminisced Sunday on his early days of fatherhood, and celebrated his own dad with a tribute shared online to commemorate Father's Day. The "Achy Breaky Heart" singer posted a number of family photos on Instagram as he marked the holiday with a song featuring his daughter, Noah Cyrus. Cyrus, 63, included a recent image with his superstar daughter, Miley Cyrus, on the heels of a recent reunion. "'My Grandfather told my Father'… and luckily he taught me ….when your [sic] lost …. 'Stand Still,'" Cyrus captioned the clip. "Happy Father's Day to everyone ! Mothers… sisters ….brothers ….friends included!" A carousel of images featured the father-of-five with his kids, although it's unclear if sons Trace or Christopher were included in the roundup. Cyrus was previously married to Tish Cyrus for 30 years and adopted her older children, Trace and Brandi, before they welcomed three of their own kids: Miley, Braison Cyrus and Noah Cyrus. The singer is also father to Christopher Cyrus with ex-girlfriend Kristin Luckey. The "Wrecking Ball" singer broke her silence last month over a rumored rift with her family. One day after sharing a birthday tribute to her brother Braison, Miley posted an Instagram story after social media users had pointed out her mother, Tish Cyrus, unfollowed her earlier in the week. "I rarely comment on rumors but my mama and I are too tight for anything to ever come between us," Miley wrote. "She's my best friend. Like a lot of moms, she doesn't know how to work her phone and somehow unfollowed me — simple, coincidental and uninteresting. "My dad and I have had our challenges over the years. Now, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else. I'm at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing. Grateful for the good health and love that flows through my family." She delved more into the state of her relationship with her father and the difficulties she faced pursuing sobriety. When the New York Times asked if she's ever talked to her father about her own experience with sobriety, she said, "I think he has a harder time enjoying being sober. I kind of enjoy it. I think my dad is somebody that's like, 'That would be real nice right now.' He calls it a good bad habit. Things that make you feel good, but you know they're bad." She added, "So I think for him, I grew up in a different generation. My dad grew up between the '60s and the '80s. It wasn't normal for you to have your psychiatrist on speed dial. So I think my dad just really didn't have the support." Miley said they don't "avoid" the subject, "but it's not really something that's our table talk." "Me and my dad like to talk about music and movies," she said. "It's not something that's ever been our focus, but it probably should be. We probably should talk about that at some point." In January, Billy Ray stumbled onstage during a performance at President Donald Trump's inauguration celebration. Afterward, fans and family members voiced concerns about the singer, questioning his health and stability. Shortly after, Trace wrote in an open letter to his father, "You're not healthy Dad & everyone is noticing it." He added, "I love you Dad. We haven't talked in a while but I'm over a year and half clean from alcohol. Guess what? I feel amazing. I don't know what you're struggling with exactly but I think I have a pretty good idea & I'd love to help you if you would open up and receive the help." Last week, Trace doubled down with a scathing critique of his adopted father. "This man is so hungry for fame, it's pathetic," Trace wrote on Instagram. "He really flew to Italy for a fashion show but wouldn't come to LA for Mammie's funeral while he was still married to my mom. Even after his daughter got him a 60k private jet like he demanded then he still didn't come after the plane was paid for. "You're the lamest man to ever walk planet earth. Honestly embarrassed to have ever considered you my idol. The best thing to come from your downfall is it made me go into beast mode. I refuse to be a washed up, delusional, evil person when I'm old like you. Christ is King. Get right with God. You need it." A representative for Billy Ray did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
