
R Kelly rushed to hospital after drug overdose
Jailed R&B star R Kelly has been admitted to hospital after an overdose in prison.
It's believed the disgraced pop star was being held in 'solitary confinement' and accidentally overdosed after being given the drugs by prison staff.

Kelly reported feeling 'faint and dizzy' and seeing 'black spots' in his vision before passing out.
He was taken to Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, which his legal team says is a result of being given a 'dangerous amount' of medication.

The Grammy-award winning R&B singer was jailed in 2021 on multiple charges including sex trafficking, and racketeering and is currently serving 30 years behind bars.
He has also recently faced allegations of a 'murder for hire' plot from behind bars and has sought a Presidential Pardon for his convictions.

Whoopi Goldberg vows stories, laughs and 'a little truth' in UK shows
Actress Whoopi Goldberg has said she cannot wait to "share some stories" when she performs in two live shows in the UK later this year. The shows, her first UK appearances in almost 10 years, will see audiences experience an "intimate" evening with the actress, comedian and writer, as she reflects on her long career. She said: "I've always loved performing for UK audiences. "I can't wait to take the stage at these two incredible venues and share some stories, some laughs, and maybe even a little truth." Goldberg, who was made an honorary patron of Trinity College's Philosophical Society in 2012, is one of a small number of people who have Egot status, meaning she has won all four of the major US art awards, the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.
