R Kelly rushed to hospital after drug overdose
Jailed R&B star R Kelly has been admitted to hospital after an overdose in prison.
It's believed the disgraced pop star was being held in 'solitary confinement' and accidentally overdosed after being given the drugs by prison staff.
The attorney representing the 'I believe I can fly' singer, says he was placed into solitary confinement on June 10th, and was given anxiety medication by the jail staff on June 12th. R&B singer R. KellY. (Photo by)
Kelly reported feeling 'faint and dizzy' and seeing 'black spots' in his vision before passing out.
He was taken to Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, which his legal team says is a result of being given a 'dangerous amount' of medication.

The Grammy-award winning R&B singer was jailed in 2021 on multiple charges including sex trafficking, and racketeering and is currently serving 30 years behind bars.
He has also recently faced allegations of a 'murder for hire' plot from behind bars and has sought a Presidential Pardon for his convictions.
