Amul celebrates Shah Rukh Khan aka 'India's Biggest Galakaar' after Met debut
Shah Rukh Khan made his Met Gala debut on May 5. The superstar, dressed in an all-black Sabyasachi outfit, captivated fans worldwide with his grand debut. Looks like Amul is also a fan of his, as the dairy brand paid debut to the superstar with their creative illustration.
They shared the tribute on Instagram. The post depicted a cartoon version of SRK in his Met Gala attire, holding a buttered slice of bread and his Bengal Tiger Cane. The caption read, "India's Biggest Galakaar!" with the tagline "Always in fashion." Check out the post here:
Shah Rukh Khan's ensemble featured a floor-length coat made from luxurious Tasmanian superfine wool and superfine wool trousers. A pleated satin kamarbandh added a classic touch to his look. The global star's accessories also drew attention, particularly a neck chain engraved with a bold "K," symbolising his "King" status. He completed his look with multi-layered jewellery, cool black shades, and chunky silver rings. He also struck his signature pose.
The actor also shared a post expressing gratitude to designer Sabyasachi and his team for making him pull this off something that was not his 'space'.
Speaking to TIME about his appearance, SRK said, "It's not just simple entertainment. I am a memory from home, though I am not a memory. The diaspora made me the star I am. It is important to represent my countrymen and people. India is taking a stand in a lot of things, and it's important to have our presence felt. I liked what it (the theme) stood for - the concept of revolution and resolution, not through anger or fighting, but by being exuberant and artistic. Dressing up in a way that made a statement."
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his upcoming film "King," where he will star alongside his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film also features Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma in significant roles.

Suniel Shetty Lauds KL Rahul On Scoring A Century Against England: 'Proud Of You Son'
Published By : Chirag Sehgal IANS Last Updated: Suniel Shetty took to Instagram, where he shared a picture of Rahul from the test match and praised his game. Actor Suniel Shetty is a 'proud" father-in-law as his cricketer son-in-law scored a century against England at the Test Match at the Headingley Stadium in Leeds. Suniel took to Instagram, where he shared a picture of Rahul from the test match and wrote: 'A knock that spoke less, but said everything Proud of you son KL Rahul." He then shared a picture of star cricketer Rishabh Pant, who turned out to be the second with 118 against England on the fourth day of the match, after scoring 134 in the first innings. Pant has become the first Indian batter to score hundreds in both innings of a Test in England. The actor wrote: 'Two innings. Two centuries. One fearless heart. Rishabh Pant." Suniel went on to share a post which mentioned that 'Rahul communicated with Sai in Tamil, with Pant in Hindi and Karun Nair in Kannada. After the stumps, he'll speak with the broadcasters in English." To which, Suniel wrote: 'Proudly Indian." Outstanding centuries from KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant have put India in command of the first Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy Test as they ensured the lead went past 300 on June 23. At tea, India's lead read as 304 runs, with their second innings scorecard reading as 298/4 in 75 overs, as 145 runs came off the second session, as Rahul and Pant pounced on the old ball and England looked very short on ideas. While Rahul was at his composed self to be unbeaten on 120, his ninth Test hundred laced with 15 boundaries, Pant was at his scintillating best to smash 118 – his eighth century in the format, aided by 15 boundaries and three sixes. Before the 195-run stand between Rahul and Pant happened in Headingley, the duo had previously hit centuries while being in a partnership at The Oval in 2018. Pant also smashed many records – becoming the first wicketkeeper and fifth batter from India to score two hundreds in the same Test match in overseas conditions. First Published:
