Why us?
Someone discussed what was noted in It's Your Call about the city not taking care of the alleys or the drainage tubes at the end of the alley. You call in, they say they're going to call you back. There were four times last year I called, never received a call back. And then when I do call it in, they said, well, that'll be at your expense. Why are we having to pay to keep the alleys in good shape and the tubes have been mashed down from trash trucks? Why are we having to pay out of our pocket? Isn't that under the city to take care of the streets and alleys? We pay for that.
You people are so funny
I don't expect you to print this because you're so pro-Democratic, but the rest of you people in this town are so funny. You expect things to happen overnight. You've got your hand out constantly. You won't give this president 100 days to get his initiative passed and started, but yet you tolerated the last president who did nothing for four years, and the only thing he did was degrade this country.
Explain this to me
I don't quite understand how President Trump can blame President Biden for the stock market falling here in April of 2025, when President Trump was the one that's been in office for the last few months. Can somebody explain this to me?
