Viral: Before Ahaan-Aneet's Saiyaara, Arjun-Sonakshi Aced The Romantic Bike Wrap Scene In Tevar

New Delhi: Mohit Suri's recent romantic musical Saiyaara has been the talk of the town for more reasons than one. From debutant Ahaan Panday impressing the audience to his chemistry with Aneet Padda. One of the standout scenes in Saiyaara is when Vaani Batra (Aneet Padda) sits behind Krish Kapoor (Ahaan Panday) on his bike, and he wraps his overshirt around them, tying her to himself before they zoom off. However, fans have found a similar clip featuring Sonakshi Sinha and Arjun Kapoor that has gone viral again. What's Happening Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's romantic bike scene, where he wraps his shirt around her and ties a knot, was termed as one of the most romantic scenes in the film. The Internet soon dug up an old video of the 2015 film Tevar, where Sonakshi Sinha and Arjun Kapoor are seen enacting a scene that resembles the Saiyaara viral moment. In the scene from Tevar, Arjun Kapoor is seen tying a scarf around Sonakshi Sinha as she hops onto the bike. He then takes her hand and places it around his waist for support. The comparisons were bound to happen as both scenes highlight an emotional and impactful gesture without the use of dialogues between the lead couple. Fans Reacting To The Comparisons The Internet was divided, while some were in support of Arjun Kapoor, others felt Ahaan Panday did a better job. One Internet user wrote, "That's why we call him Lord Arjun Kapoor." Another Arjun Kapoor fan added, "To be honest, Arjun Kapoor was a decent actor... his 2 States, Aurangzeb, debut movie and many more he acted well... but after Half Girlfriend, his career graph went down." On the contrary, Ahaan Panday's expanding fan club was cheering for him. One comment read, "It is all about creating an impact, which Ahaan Panday did." Another person wrote, "Ahaan made it look better... felt real." Lord #ArjunKapoor > #AhaanPanday #Saiyaara #Tevar — $@M (@SAMTHEBESTEST_) August 10, 2025 About Saiyaara Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film deals with love, loss, and heartbreak in a poignant way. The film stars debutant Ahaan Pandey as Krish Kapoor, a struggling musician, alongside Aneet Padda as Vaani Batra, a young writer diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. In A Nutshell The Internet made comparisons between Ahaan Panday's viral bike scene with Aneet Padda in Saiyaara with an old resurfaced sequence from Tevar featuring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha. While some were in favour of Arjun Kapoor, a lot believed Ahaan Panday made it look more real.

KRK Criticises ‘War 2' Advance Booking, Says It's Far Behind ‘Coolie'

Film critic and actor KRK has shared his views on the advance booking numbers of War 2 and Coolie ahead of their releases. In his tweet, he revealed that as of today at 7:30 PM, War 2 has sold 32,118 tickets at PVR INOX for Thursday, 14th August, amounting to ₹1.15 crore net. KRK expressed disappointment over the numbers, joking that the booking figures seemed more like those of an Arjun Kapoor film than a Hrithik Roshan starrer. In comparison, Coolie has sold a total of 1,07,897 tickets across all languages, nearly three times more than War 2. The total all-India net worth for Coolie stands at around ₹21 crore, while War 2 is at ₹4 crore. According to KRK, the gap shows that War 2 is 'not even near' Coolie in terms of audience interest so far. He posted this on his X account on August 11.

Not Ahaan in Saiyaara, Arjun Kapoor did romantic bike wrap with Sonakshi first

In a surprising twist, an old video of actor Arjun Kapoor from the 2015 film 'Tevar' has resurfaced for its similarity with a scene in 'Saiyaara'. The scene in question from 'Saiyaara' features Aneet Padda sitting on Ahaan Panday's bike while Ahaan wraps his overshirt around her. Social media users have pointed out that Kapoor executed a similar move years earlier in 'Tevar'.advertisementIn 'Tevar', Kapoor's character throws a scarf around his co-star Sonakshi Sinha as she sits behind him on a bike. He ties it around their waist and pulls her close. This gesture, meant to ensure Sinha's character's safety, seems to echo the scene from 'Saiyaara'. This comparison sparked curiosity amongst Bollywood enthusiasts on social media, who hailed Arjun Kapoor as 'Lord Arjun'. One of the social media users said, "Lord Arjun Kapoor did it way before than AhaanPanday." Another user said, "That's why we call him Lord Arjun Kapoor. (sic)" Some netizens also drew parallels to a scene from the 2009 film '3 Idiots'. In the scene, Aamir Khan's character drives a scooter with his friend's ill father and Kareena Kapoor's character. 'Tevar', directed by Amit Sharma, was a story of romance and action. The film was not a major hit at its time of release. However, it is now gaining renewed attention thanks to this unexpected link to 'Saiyaara'.'Saiyaara', on the other hand, is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Productions. It revolves around a singer who falls in love with a lyricist suffering from Alzheimer's. The film has been a massive commercial success and garnered positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. It earned Rs 300 crores domestically and Rs 500 crores love story featuring Ahaan and Aneet, was released on July 18, 2025.- Ends
