Wiegman calls Wubben-Moy into England squad as Bright withdraws
England head coach Sarina Wiegman has offered a late call-up to Arsenal defender Lotte Wubben-Moy ahead of the upcoming UEFA Women's Nations League double-header against Portugal and Spain.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official press release from The Football Association this afternoon.

The defender's late inclusion in the Lionesses squad comes as a result of Chelsea's Millie Bright pulling out of international duty. It has been reported that Bright requires an extended period of recovery and is therefore not in a position to represent England in the latest international window. The centre-back will remain at club where she will receive the full support of the Chelsea medical staff.
Wubben-Moy's England call-up comes less than 48 hours after she became a European champion with Arsenal. The Gunners recorded an historic 1-0 victory over Spanish giants FC Barcelona in the 2024/2025 UEFA Women's Champions League final in Lisbon on Saturday evening.
England are set to complete their 2025 UEFA Women's Nations League campaign in the current international window. The Lionesses will take on Portugal at Wembley on Friday night before flying out to Barcelona to face Spain on Tuesday 3 June 2025. Wiegman's side are likely to have to win both matches if they are to finish top of the group in League A.
