MURDERED hood Ross Monaghan's Irish bar has been stripped of signage bearing his name less than two weeks after he was gunned down inside.
Workers removed foot-high gold lettering spelling out his surname just 12 days after he and fellow Scots gangster Eddie Lyons Jnr were assassinated on the Costa del Sol.

Monaghan's name has been erased from the Spanish boozer
Pictures show a specials board advertising home-made soup lying on a table inside, as well as a branded banner and parasols that previously stood on the terrace.
One eyewitness told how Monaghan's name had been erased from his boozer in Fuengirola, Spain, amid speculation it will be relaunched after a renovation.
They said: 'The signs were taken down around mid-morning on Thursday.
'It looks like the place has been cleaned up and moved around after the attack a few weeks ago.'
Another source said: 'No-one knows if they are planning to re-open, but it does look like there's been some work done to the property.'
Monaghan, 43, was chased inside the bar and blasted seconds after Lyons Jr, 46, was shot dead at point-blank range outside.
Scottish Tory leader Russell Findlay called for tighter controls to stop mobsters using supposedly respectable businesses to launder dirty cash.
He said: 'The Spanish and Scottish authorities should be asking how a known member of a major international drugs gang appeared to have the ownership of a prominent business which literally had his name above the door?
'A guy like that should never have had the ability to put his name on assets for which the only source of funding has been drugs.'
The Lyons gang kingpins had been part of a group watching the Champions League footie final on May 31 when the killer struck.

Graphic CCTV footage aired by Spanish broadcasters showed Monaghan crawling on his hands and knees in a bid to flee the hitman, before collapsing against a wall.
The horrifying film shows blood from a wound near his heart soaking through his white t-shirt.
We told of claims Monaghan had a £250,000 price on his head over a feud with a Spanish drugs cartel linked to the south of England.
We also exclusively told how Monaghan's grieving family said their Glasgow enemies the Daniels are not to blame.
The Daniels and allies of jailed Edinburgh cocaine kingpin Mark Richardson are under attack by hoods linked to Dubai-based Ross McGill, 31.

Huge compensation sum paid to seven wrongfully jailed Scots prisoners revealed
Payouts are granted when new evidence shows 'beyond reasonable doubt' inmates were wrongly convicted Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) MORE than £3million has been paid out to wrongfully jailed prisoners, we can reveal. Figures show the compensation cash was handed to seven lags released due to miscarriages of justice in the last decade. Payouts are granted when new evidence shows 'beyond reasonable doubt' inmates were wrongly convicted — or there was a 'serious default' or error by cops or authorities. Scottish Labour warned Nats ministers' 'neglect' of the system could lead to taxpayers stumping up for more payouts. Justice spokeswoman Pauline McNeill said: 'One case of wrongful imprisonment is too many and every effort must be made to prevent these miscarriages of justice occurring. 'That is why it is extremely important to closely scrutinise any changes to the criminal justice system to ensure they do not risk creating miscarriages of justice.' She added: 'There is a real risk that the pressure on our justice system caused by SNP neglect and the dwindling number of defence lawyers could contribute to this problem. 'First and foremost, we must try to prevent miscarriages of justice because of the human cost, but there are also millions being taken from frontline services to pay for these appalling mistakes.' Scotland's most famous miscarriages of justice include Patrick Meehan who received a royal pardon after being wrongfully convicted of the 1969 murder of Rachael Ross in Ayr. In 1973, Stuart Gair was wrongfully jailed for the murder of Margaret McLaughlin in Carluke. And Joe Steele spent 18 years in jail for the Ice Cream War murders after being wrongly convicted of starting a fire which killed six members of the Doyle family in 1984. First convicts leave Barlinnie after Scottish Government release 360 prisoners early due to overcrowding Ministers across the UK have also been forced to apologise for the wrongful prosecution of hundreds of Post Office subpostmasters - some of whom served jail sentences.
