Hallmark Sets 2nd NFL Countdown to Christmas Movie With ‘Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story'
It looks like Hallmark and the NFL are very happy together, because they just announced a second Countdown to Christmas movie partnership — this time, called 'Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story.'
Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin shared the news in a video message with 'Today' on Thursday, months after the companies' first collaboration 'Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story' aired in late 2024.
'Hallmark Channel and the NFL have selected the Buffalo Bills in the 2025 Countdown to Christmas movie draft,' the pro athlete teased. 'We're so excited to celebrate our team, our fans — and shout out to Bills Mafia — and our shared love for football and Hallmark Christmas movies. Go Bills.'
Production is set to begin later this year and will film entirely in and around Buffalo, New York, including at the team's Highmark Stadium. The cast will be revealed at a later date. Skydance Sports also serves as an executive producer on the project.
'The incredible success of last year's partnership with the NFL and the Kansas City Chiefs far exceeded our expectations,' Hallmark's chief brand officer Darren Abbott said in a statement. 'We are thrilled to team up with the Bills this year for a new holiday movie filled with heart, family and the classic Hallmark storytelling that our fans know and love, all set against the special community the Bills franchise has nurtured throughout its storied history.'
'We were honored to be approached by Skydance Sports to participate in this amazing project that will showcase two powerful brands – Hallmark and the Buffalo Bills,' the Bills' chief operating officer Pete Guelli added. 'Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story' premiered Nov. 30 on the Hallmark Channel. It starred Hunter King, Tyler Hynes, Ed Begley Jr., Megyn Price, Diedrich Bader, Christine Ebersole and Richard Riehle and featured a cameo from Donna Kelce, as well as multiple Kansas City Chiefs players.

WATCH: Texans QB C.J. Stroud returns to practice, throwing during minicamp
Houston Texans fans can exhale a sigh of relief following the start of Tuesday's mandatory minicamp at the Methodist Training Center. Third-year Pro Bowl quarterback C.J. Stroud threw passes for the first time in almost a month during the opening of Tuesday's minicamp practice. He connected on several completions to Pro Bowl wide receiver Nico Collins and rookie Jayden Higgins that caught the eye of reporters in practice. Stroud was kept from throwing during the Texans' OTA practices over the last two weeks because he was dealing with 'general soreness' in his throwing shoulder, according to head coach DeMeco Ryans. Both Ryans and first-year offensive coordinator Nick Caley said that they weren't concerned with Stroud missing reps and he'd be ready to go ahead of training camp. Stroud is in a pivotal year for the Texans after leading the franchise to back-to-back division titles. With a pair of losses in the divisional round, Houston spent the offeseason trying to revamp the offense and put the franchise quarterback in a better position to succeed. Texans worked out former first-round CB Damon Arnette ahead of minicamp
A former first-round pick could he calling the Houston Texans home soon if all goes according to plan Monday afternoon. According to KPRC2 Sports' Aaron Wilson, the Texans worked out Houston Roughnecks cornerback and former Las Vegas Raiders first-round draft pick Damon Arnette Jr. on Monday morning. Arnette is trying to make a comeback after a short-lived career in the NFL beginning in 2020. Advertisement Cornerback depth has become a need for Houston behind All-Pro Derek Stingley Jr. and breakout rookie Kamari Lassiter. Veteran cornerback Ronald Darby retired recently, leaving the No. 3 role occupied by Jeff Okudah last season open. Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said they'd look at multiple options and apparently, Arnette is one of them. Last season, while playing for the Roughnecks in the United Football League, Arnette racked up 18 tackles, five pass breakups and an interception. Selected 19th overall by Las Vegas in 2020 out of Ohio State, Arnette was released by the Raiders less than two years later after a video surfaced of the former Buckeyes standout brandishing firearms and making death threats. Although Arnette had a brief stint with the Miami Dolphins on a practice squad that year, he never returned to an active roster on Sunday. In 13 games, Arnette recorded 29 tackles, one tackle for loss and three pass deflections. Arnette told Wilson in a one-on-one interview he's spent the last three reflecting and significantly reordered his life with different priorities. 'I'm a dawg on the field. I'm more of a professional now than I ever was before," Arnette told Wilson. "I wasn't a professional before. I was just a dawg. I found professionalism and a calm state of mind.
