Teenagers help produce latest Big Issue magazine
Among interviewees chosen by the teenagers were X Factor winner James Arthur and influencer Simon Squibb.
Topics covered include educational support for people with cerebral palsy and other special educational needs, and mental health challenges faced by youngsters,
Hundreds of young Big Issue vendors have accessed support from the magazine for issues including health and wellbeing.
Big Issue editor Paul McNamee said: 'Big Issue begins with opportunity. We offer young people who are frequently marginalised and on society's edge an opportunity to lift themselves up, both through the Big Issue's own earning and learning opportunities, and by championing their voices and views through our journalism.
'For this very special edition, we wanted to learn of the unfiltered hopes, concerns and future plans of this special group of young people. They chose the content, conducted the interviews, guided Big Issue team on how they wanted the pages will look.'
Jamie Masraff, OnSide's chief executive, said: 'This special youth edition of the Big Issue highlights what people lucky enough to work with young people already know.
'Despite tired stereotypes, young people are not disengaged or lacking in ambition. They are brilliant, care about their communities and are deeply connected to the issues shaping society.

That's how I come to be living with my brother (32, by our dad's first marriage) and his partner, who I normally get on great with. On the night in question, I was meant to be staying with friends, but due to a mix-up there was no bed for me and I came home. Obviously, my brother thought he had the place to himself, so when I walked into the living room, I got the shock of my life. I think he and his girlfriend did too. My brother said that he and his girlfriend like watching their home movies back but they don't post on any websites for others to watch. He obviously only said that to make me feel better, and it hasn't made a huge difference. I used to really like it here, but now I feel so awkward I can hardly look at them. I can see that you have really taken this to heart, but truthfully, I'm struggling to see what the problem is. Your brother and his girlfriend thought they were alone, had wild sex and filmed it for their own entertainment. What have they done wrong? Maybe you have always looked up to him and what he's done has damaged your perfect view of him. I'm guessing that sex doesn't play a full part in your life at the moment, and that's why this has hit you so hard. He's older and more experienced, and what he's done is no different to what many other people do – and you may do too, when you reach that stage in life. You've already fallen out with your mother, so don't let this cause a rift between you and your brother too. Look on it this way – it's great that he and his partner are happy, loving and sexually adventurous, because that's what makes them the people they are and why you liked living with them. Emily Middlemas, now 26, first auditioned for Simon Cowell's ITV singing show in 2014, but didn't make it to live shows. Fast forward to 2025, though, and both are thriving in their respective music careers and now have another thing to celebrate after becoming husband and wife. Rylan Clark admits he completely transformed his Essex mansion after 'life change'
Rylan Clark has given fans a glimpse inside his luxurious Essex mansion, which he has decorated to be his 'sanctuary' - and it's quite the transformation Beloved televisoin and radio host Rylan Clark has discussed what drove him to completely transform the interior of his stunning Essex mansion. The ex-X Factor contestant revealed in October 2023 that after settling into the property where he records Celebrity Gogglebox with his mum Linda, he ultimately chose to make the décor feel less stark. Speaking to House Beautiful, he disclosed that the decision came after experiencing a significant life shift. Rylan, 36, shared: 'This is the second house I've designed. In my first house, everything was white, everything grey, with just one colour in every room. When I built this house though, I put in polished concrete floors, everything was cool white, that was seen as ultra-modern. 'But then when I went through a bit of a life change, I thought f*** this, and went from cool white to warm white, silver to gold, greens… it's all a lot warmer now.' This isn't the first time Rylan, who also presents on BBC Radio 2, has discussed the inner workings of his residence. The Eurovision host additionally shared snapshots of his home on Instagram earlier this year, offering followers a glimpse into his personal haven. The former Celebrity Big Brother presenter spoke about his diary room modelled on the reality programme, and subtle design elements that allowed him to personalise the space. He penned: 'We all know how much I'm obsessed by Big Brother and I have nothing better to do with my time so I built a diary room. 'It's quite like the diary room as well – which is exciting. Some people sell stuff on eBay from Big Brother – fair enough things are being thrown away but I think it's naughty. They should put it in a museum or something.' While Rylan is justifiably pleased with his home, he has captured the hearts of countless admirers this year through his candid conversations about welcoming someone into both his home and his heart, following the end of his marriage to former husband Dan Neal in 2021. This month, he confessed he had hit 'rock bottom' when his six-year marriage ended. On his How To Be In Love podcast, he revealed: 'I can safely say at this point that I have been to rock bottom, whatever you want to call it, and I know I'm never going to let myself go back there. But what that has equally done for me is make me cautious. 'It's made me very, very frightened to open myself up to someone. It's made me frightened to trust someone, and I'm not as confident as my work persona in my personal life.'
