Sausages will be 'juicier' and tastier if you swap oil for this 1 staple item
Many Brits love sausages. They're just as tasty when stuffed into a sandwich, served as part of a fry, or even topped with mashed potato. Whatever way they're enjoyed, the most important thing is making sure they are cooked properly and to perfection.
You can cook sausages in various ways, depending on your preference. Most people fry their sausages with a splash of oil in a frying pan to give them a crispy taste and prevent them from sticking to the pan.
However, chefs and food experts believe there might be a better way to cook your sausages.
They said: "Butter adds a rich and creamy flavor to sausages that is hard to replicate with other cooking methods.
"The fat content in butter helps to keep the sausages moist and juicy, while the milk solids in butter caramelize and create a golden-brown crust on the surface of the sausages.
They add that cooking sausages in butter "offers a unique twist that can elevate the overall taste and texture of the dish."

The experts are not alone. Food blogger Martin King recommends frying sausages in butter for 30 minutes on a low heat.
He added: 'The higher the heat, the less the fat renders, the faster the skins burn, and the less likely you are to have a cooked centre before the outer edges start to get tough.
'This is the main victim of the poor BBQ sausage – having the coals far, far, far too hot, so everything chars on the outside and is still going to make you ill on the inside.'
Cooking expert Jules Clancy, founder of The Stone Soup, says if you want perfectly crispy and full-flavored sausages, you should poach them beforehand for 10 minutes.
Jules said: 'I was convinced last year by my Irishman that the best way to cook sausages if you're serving them whole is to gently poach them to cook them through before browning them in a pan or on the BBQ. Well worth the effort for tender, juicy bangers and mash.'
Poaching is the simple cooking technique of letting sausages simmer in a little water before cooking them properly. It ensures the inside of the sausages cooks all the way through and helps them retain moisture as they heat up.
This results in sausages that are much juicier and even more flavourful so your banger and mash or tasty fry up if more enjoyable to eat.

"There is significant smoke coming from the site, blowing in the direction of Carbrain, and those living nearby should keep doors and windows closed. St Mungo's Road is currently closed and emergency services will be in attendance for some time. "The B-listed building was constructed in 1963 and is under the ownership of the Church of Scotland. He told g1 the pilot who operated the plane the night prior to the crash reported to the maintenance team that he had experienced problems with the aircraft's de-icing system. The failure was allegedly omitted from the technical logbook and ignored by management - when it reportedly should have prevented the plane from taking off. The ex-employee said how staff were pressured by company management to avoid aircraft downtime for maintenance, adding that there was also little time to assess the condition of aircraft. He told g1: "The leader himself asked: 'Well, if he didn't report it in the log, there's no problem with the aircraft.' "That was the company's legacy: if the captain reports it, there's maintenance action; if he doesn't report it, they won't waste time with anything he says." The Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center suggested in the preliminary report that the plane's blackbox captured a conversation between the pilots in which they mentioned a failure in the de-icing system. De-icing systems are crucial in aviation as ice can negatively affect aerodynamic performance - potentially increasing the aircraft's weight and impairing its speed and lift. The former employee believes that had this problem been reported to the logbook, the tragic crash would have been avoided. The Voepass Airlines plane was previously labelled an "old wreck" and was only in service for weeks before the deadly plunge. During the flight, passengers reported that they faced extreme heat due to the malfunctioning air conditioning, with one of them saying the temperature was "unbearable". People were trying to cool down as best they could, with one man even taking off his shirt because of the sweltering heat. Get shower screen sparkling in minutes with little-known product that's better than vinegar
Achieving that perfect streak-free shine on your shower glass can be difficult, but one specific product could be just the thing you need. Cleaning the shower screen in your bathroom can be a tough task. And when you finally get it sparkling, it can be just as hard to keep it stain-free. Shampoo, soap, and even water can quickly cling to the screen, making it a grubby mess all over again. Most believe that white vinegar is the ideal product to banish the stains; however, experts say there's another, lesser-known product that works quicker and even better. The hack, which was shared by consumer experts at Which?, on TikTok, shows a dirty shower screen being cleaned. Speaking over the video, the experts said: "Spraying it with vinegar will be effective, but citric acid is even better. It's stronger than vinegar, and brilliant at fighting limescale." All you need to do is mix a couple of spoonfuls of citric acid with hot water in a spray bottle, and apply it liberally all over your dirty shower screen. Then, leave it for a couple of minutes, as this will help the mixture to really seep into the limescale marks. Once you've done that, use a non-scratch sponge to scrub the glass clean, before spritzing with the mixture again and using a squeegee to wipe it off afterwards. But if you don't have a squeegee to hand, don't worry - you can use a microfibre cloth instead for the same effect. You can buy a tub of citric acid from Asda for as little as £1.75, and this is enough to do multiple cleaning jobs. In the video's comments, several people suggested their own tried-and-tested methods for keeping the shower clean. One person said: "Try using 5% of washing up liquid and 5% of cleaning white vinegar in a spray bottle, top it up with water. This helps to maintain the shower after use." Another suggested: "Just squeegee the screen every time you shower, that way there are never water droplets to dry and form [lime]scale." Mrs Hinch fans also recently shared a 'brilliant' cleaning item you can buy from Tesco that 'removes water marks' from shower screens and is 'effortless' to use. You may already have the handy tool at home, as it can be used for a number of different household cleaning tasks. " In response, many people suggested the handy washing-up tool with an attached sponge. Lisa Harris shared a tip: "Mix equal parts of Fairy Liquid and white vinegar in a Dishmatic. Rinse and dry. Removes built-up water marks and soap scum from your shower screen. It makes cleaning effortless." Lynney Jack also said: "Viakal and then scrub side with Dishmatic. Leave on for 20 minutes then rinse off. Use a squeegee every time and no need to clean! ".
