Fans couldn't stop gushing over Shah Rukh's new avatar once the look went viral. One netizen wrote, 'What a look! 😧 King Khan just looking fantabulous in his latest look with tattoo 🎉🎉🎉 Brace yourselves for #King #shahrukhkhan #srk.' Another fan added, 'History is in the making.'
Previously, during an event in Dubai, Shah Rukh had briefly spoken about King. He said, 'My director, who is Sidharth Anand, is very strict. He made Pathaan. So he is very strict. He said, 'Don't tell people about the film, what you are doing in it.' So I can't tell you, but I can assure you it will entertain you. You will have fun.'
With his trademark wit, Shah Rukh also commented on the film's title and quipped, 'I've used many titles…Now we have run out of titles… Now Shah Rukh Khan as Shah Rukh Khan in King. Thoda show-off hogaeya (That was a bit of a show-off).'
During another live interaction with the Artistic Director of the Locarno Film Festival, the Jawan actor also revealed that he is currently undergoing physical preparation for the film. He shared, 'The next film I'm doing, King, I have to start working on it. Have to lose some weight and stretch a little so my groin doesn't get caught while I am doing action. It's very painful and hurtful. I have two bags full of icing machines. It's the worst thing to see me on set after action. I look really cool in the film, but after that I look tied up, somebody is pressing my back. It's difficult to walk and then suddenly you see people and send them flying kisses.'
