Former Chelsea star, 46, handed five-year ban from all football activity following dispute with Samuel Eto'o
FORMER Chelsea star Geremi has landed a five-year ban from football - after a dispute with fellow ex-Blue Samuel Eto'o.
The Cameroon international won Premier League titles in 2005 and 2006 while at Stamford Bridge.

The 46-year-old has headed the Cameroon players' union Synafoc in recent years.
But the West African country's FA, Fecafoot, has now banned him from football until 2030, as well as fining him £13,000.

Their dispute dates back to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in the Ivory Coast, when Geremi is said to have had a dressing-room row with one of Eto'o's staff.
Fecafoot's ethics committee announced: "We declare Geremi Sorel Njitap, the president of Synafoc, guilty of breaking the behaviour rules of our code of ethics.
"We sentence him to a ban from all forms of football activity for five years, and to a fine of ten million West African francs [£13,000].
"He has ten days to submit a written appeal."

Geremi's assistant Daniel Blaise Ngos has meanwhile been banned for two years and fined £6,500 for his part in the dispute.
The midfielder won 118 caps for Cameroon, scoring 13 goals for the Indomitable Lions.

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk charged by FA over anti-doping rule violation
Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged by the Football Association with violating anti-doping rules. The 24-year-old has not played since being handed a provisional suspension in December after he returned a positive test, reportedly for the banned substance meldonium. An FA statement said: 'We can confirm that Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged with anti-doping rule violations alleging the presence and/or use of a prohibited substance, in terms of regulations three and four of the FA's anti-doping regulations. Mudryk started only once in the Premier League last season (Steven Paston/PA) 'As this is an ongoing case, we are not in a position to comment further at this time.' Chelsea have been approached for comment. Earlier this month Mudryk's number 10 shirt was given to Cole Palmer for next season, leaving the Ukraine international without a squad number at Stamford Bridge. In a statement issued at the time of his suspension, Mudryk said the positive sample had come as 'a complete shock' and he had 'not done anything wrong,' with Chelsea adding the player had 'never knowingly used any banned substances'. The result was returned shortly after he had been away on international duty with Ukraine in November, during which time the banned substance is reported to have been administered. Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca initially said the winger was unavailable through illness to explain a four-game period that he was absent from the team prior to the suspension being made public. Chelsea 's Mykhailo Mudryk could face a lengthy ban after being charged by the Football Association with doping offences. Under FA regulations the winger could be banned for as long as four years after providing a positive A sample last year. It is believed the banned performance-enhancing substance meldonium was found in Mudryk's system. The Ukraine international has not played since last November and was provisionally suspended while he and Chelsea waited for the results of a B sample. An FA spokesperson said: 'We can confirm that Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged with anti-doping rule violations alleging the presence and/or use of a prohibited substance, in terms of Regulations 3 and 4 of the FA's Anti-Doping Regulations.
