The huge event will see a fleet of historic-style sailing ships arrive in the city for four days of exciting events.
It will be held in the Granite City from Saturday, July 19, until Tuesday, July 22.
Many of the vessels will be taking part in races and will be open to the public to view at certain times.
There will also be a host of legendary acts lined up to entertain crowds at the Quayside Concerts.
The open-air performances will be held at Peterson Seabase on the city's Regent Quay to a crowd of 7,000 people.
And we previously revealed that the opening night will be hosted by popular Scottish band Deacon Blue.
We can't wait to see 50 Tall Ships sailing into Aberdeen this summer. We've made sure there's something for everyone, especially families and children
Emma Wadee
They will be followed by the Ministry of Sound's 30-piece classical orchestra.
While rock icons Kaiser Chiefs have also been asked to back up the 50 boats as they sail into the Port of Aberdeen.
There will also be a free event on the Sunday where punters will get to enjoy tunes performed by Tide Lines and Calum Bowie.
And now, The Press and Journal has revealed a section of the city will be transformed into a carnival fun zone for the bonanza.
Here's how to do festival looks on a budget - and save the planet
The Castlegate and King Street areas will be at the heart of the action as rides and attractions are set up.
Around 400,000 punters and music fans are expected to descend on the city to lap up the entertainment.
A funfair will be in place on King Street, from the West North Street junction to Castle Street.
A Discovery learning zone will also be set up in the Castlegate area, which will include several rides and attractions such as the Fast and Furious.
This was a huge hit with families when it previously came to Broad Street's Christmas village.
Visitors will also be able to go for a ride on the Ferris Wheel and enjoy skyline views of the city.
This zone will be free to enter and will also feature a STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) hub.
Here, visitors will be able to explore native sea life touch pools, try their hand at boat-building challenges and enjoy Lego workshops.
'SOMETHING MAGICAL'
TICKETS for the festival first went on sale back in March after the lineup for the incredible event was announced.
Deacon Blue frontman Ricky Ross said: 'We last played the Tall Ships festival back in 2011 in Greenock and loved it.
"We're very happy to be asked back and really looking forward to another great night under the stars in Aberdeen later this year.'
Tide Line's lead singer Robert Robertson said: "We can't wait to play for the Tall Ships in Aberdeen on 20th July!
"We've had some brilliant gigs in Aberdeen over the years and loved playing for the Tall Ships up in Lerwick a couple of summers ago—so this has all the makings of a great night.
'It also falls just after the release of our new album, Glasgow Love Story, making it an especially exciting time for us!'
While Calum added: "So excited to be coming back home to play Tall Ships. Being from Banchory, it's an honour to have been asked to play my first ever festival in Aberdeen!
"Also super excited to be supporting Tide Lines, such a big inspiration. Should be a class day!"
Adrian Watson, the chief executive of Aberdeen Inspired, said: 'It is a real coup to bring these top-flight acts here to provide an epic soundtrack for the Tall Ships in the Granite City.
"Can you imagine Deacon Blue leading 7,000 people in a rendition of Dignity, with all those beautiful vessels as a backdrop? That promises to be something magical.
'These four nights of outstanding concerts will mean Aberdeen is really set to hit the high notes during the Tall Ships visit – not least with the economic boost the 400,000 expected visits will bring the city.'
The Codona's carnival will be open across all four days from 9am to 11pm, however, it will close earlier on the final day at 3.20pm.
While the Discovery Zone will be open from 9am until 6pm on all days apart from the final day when it will close at 3.30pm.
The Tall Ships festival is being organised by Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeen Inspired and Port of Aberdeen.
Emma Wadee, Aberdeen City Council's Project Manager for the event, told the Press and Journal: 'We can't wait to see 50 Tall Ships sailing into Aberdeen this summer.
'We've made sure there's something for everyone, especially families and children.'
A spokesman from Codona's added: 'With a selection of kids, family, and thrill rides, there will be something for everyone.'

‘Crass' cops slammed for playing ‘snog, marry, kill' with mugshots of local call girls and felons
Read on to find out how playing the popular game could land you in trouble COP QUIZ FURY 'Crass' cops slammed for playing 'snog, marry, kill' with mugshots of local call girls and felons Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) LAYING 'snog, marry, avoid' with colleagues at work could be sexual harassment, a tribunal has ruled. The 'crass' and 'inappropriate' game may breach the Equality Act, an Employment judge said. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up The risqué quiz involves naming three people and then asking a person to pick which one you would like to kiss, which one you would get married to and which one you would steer clear of altogether. In the BBC hit comedy Gavin and Stacey, Pam, Mick, Gavin and Smithy played a version of it featuring celebrities during a car ride from Essex to Wales. However, the tribunal found it may break workplace laws. The ruling came in the case of a police officer who sued Derbyshire Police after a female colleague involved him in the game — using mugshots of sex workers. The officer candidly admitted to the tribunal that she had 'jokingly' played the game with co-workers and included PC Shafarat Mohammed in their discussion. PC Mohammed claimed that during the discussion in May or June 2022 he was only shown images of black women and was asked what he liked about one of them. He said he was 'embarrassed' and 'offended' by the questioning and felt it was inappropriate. The tribunal judge said: 'We agree that the questions were inappropriate.' However, the tribunal found there was no racial or religious element to it as the sex workers were of varying ethnicities. PC Mohammed lost his case for racial and religious discrimination and harassment. Two top cops accused of mocking a colleague's Irish accent in 'grossly offensive' leaving video

Prince William and Princess Sophie wow crowds as they team up for rare Royal double act
Sophie has been touted as the Royal Family's 'secret weapon' SHARE TO THE THRONE Prince William and Princess Sophie wow crowds as they team up for rare Royal double act Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) PRINCE William and his aunt Sophie teamed up yesterday in a rare royal double act. They toasted each other with gin during a joint engagement at the Royal Cornwall Show — and she proved to be a tonic by helping out with the heir to the throne's duties. When he was offered a Rattler cider, Wills, 42, quipped: 'Everyone remembers their first Rattler. You don't remember your last.' He pretended to turn his nose up at the zero per cent alcohol option he was initially offered and asked for the proper stuff. At a gin stand, Wills joked he could 'see what today's going to be like' and also teased Sophie. They had been taken into a food and drinks tent, where Sophie was also seen happily chatting to a mother and baby about local produce. They went first to a chutney stand and then to the gin stall as William said: 'We've come from the chutneys straight into booze.' They were shown several gins before each were given one to try. He caught the Duchess going for another sip and joked to her: 'She said, 'You're not allowed to finish it'. You've got to watch her.' Sophie, 60, responded: 'He's learnt from the best.' Wills joked back: 'I've been caught out with whisky a few too many times. Desperate Harry & Meghan jump from idea to idea, only William & Kate have true clout "I think I can do that and then, 'Oh no I couldn't'.' The pair were also given a traditional Cornish pasty by Ann's Pasties. They then moved to the Healeys Cyder Farm stand, where William said: 'Look at the Rattler selection. Ah, definitely I'm happy about that.' Head of hospitality Laura Clerehugh, 36, said: 'I was going to say, you've had a Rattler.' William responded: 'Everyone remembers where they were when they had their first Rattler, I can tell you that.' He then laughingly agreed that you don't remember your last. Wills then asked about the 'zero' on the bottle, and when told that it meant zero alcohol he put the cup down and said: 'Oh no, no, no. I need original. Someone bring out the big guns.' Sources said the day was a huge success. Sophie has been touted as the Royal Family's 'secret weapon' thanks to her unwavering support for the monarchy and dedication to charities. She was ranked the fourth hardest working royal of last year, having carried out 257 engagements. Her welcome contribution comes at a difficult time for the Royal Family. They were rocked last year when the King and the Princess of Wales were diagnosed with cancer. Charles continues to receive treatment, while Kate announced earlier this year that she was in remission. The King had a blast yesterday as he fired an artillery piece on a visit to the Royal Regiment of Artillery at Larkhill, Wiltshire.

I took my family to the new Nickelodeon Land in Turkey with rides and character meets – here's how to get free entry
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) WHO lives in a pineapple under the sea? Not SpongeBob SquarePants any more. The yellow cartoon character has a new home on Turkey's southern coast at the impressive Land Of Legends theme park. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 5 The fab new Nickelodeon Land in Turkey 5 Have endless fun at Antalya's Nickelodeon Hotel Credit: Supplied 5 Unwind in style at the Rixos Premium Belek Credit: Supplied He's brought along all his pals to its new Nickelodeon Land — and I was one of the first there to check them out. The themed area neighbours Adventure Land and the exotic Aqua Land in the vast entertainment complex in Antalya. Nickelodeon Land consists of three areas — the underwater Bikini Bottom from SpongeBob SquarePants; intergalactic Star Trek: Wild Galaxy, based on Star Trek: Prodigy; and the open-air Adventure Bay from PAW Patrol. And just steps away is a plush new Nickelodeon hotel, featuring 238 themed bedrooms and its own waterpark-like outdoor pool where you can get 'slimed' for real, Nickelodeon style. Sounds totally retro, right? There's a definite nod to the nostalgia of 90s Nickelodeon. Think Rugrats and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as little ones' modern favourites, such as Chase from Paw Patrol, Dora The Explorer and Nickelodeon's cartoon reboot of Star Trek. I got stuck into the action at Bikini Bottom, my favourite area, which transports visitors to a neon, SpongeBob-themed underwater landscape. The standout attraction is the Fiery Fist O'Fun, a reference to a classic SpongeBob episode. The ride is like a ferris wheel on steroids, fast-paced enough to make your stomach drop — in the best way. But if that is not your style, take a spin on the Jellyfish Jam swings. New Nickelodeon land to open in Brit-loved holiday hotspot next year - with Paw Patrol rides and Spongebob attractions Or you can pootle around the land in overhead blimps, dubbed Sandy's Rockets. Plankton's Plunge is another must for thrill-seekers. As the name suggests, it drops you from a squeamishly scary height. Then there's the Crazy Carnival Ride, where you can battle against your family in a virtual shoot-out. Aside from the rides, my highlight had to be meeting the chipper yellow sponge himself. At various points in the day, each of the characters pop up for meet-and-greet sessions, so you can snap a picture with Squidward or pose with Patrick. Giant pineapple Meanwhile, Chase and the gang from Paw Patrol can be found hanging out at Adventure Bay, where rides are aimed at the littlest of adventurers. It's not just about the kids, though. There's plenty of spaces that even Mum and Dad will enjoy. The Snick Lounge, a games room and sports bar, hosts live music where you can bop away while enjoying a tasty cocktail. For a proper place to unwind, head to the luscious Anjana Spa which is worlds away from the neon orange and splat motifs that adorn the rest of the hotel floors above. Although, you may spot SpongeBob in subtle murals dotted around the space, donning his very own robe and head towel, or striking a yoga pose. There are even more character nods across the main Nickelodeon Hotel, where the rooms are as comfortable as they are vibrant. 5 Wild Galaxy is out of this world 5 Emily Downes meets SpongeBob at the new theme park Each floor is themed around a character — think jungle motifs for Dora The Explorer and industrial pipes for the adventures of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. If all the Nickelodeon colours get too much, though, hotel guests can enjoy free transfers to Rixos Premium Belek, a sister hotel down the road that has its own private beach as well as pools, restaurants and bars. Likewise, any guests staying at a Rixos property in Antalya can enjoy free and unlimited access to The Land Of Legends, including the new Nickelodeon Land, during their stay. I was staying in a SpongeBob suite where a giant pineapple housed all the drinks and snacks I could dream of. After a tiring day on the roller-coasters, I would sink into the plush bedding and unwind with the TV (which, of course, has access to all your favourite Nick shows). Even SpongeBob would be impressed with this place.
