WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has shared a fantastic and positive update on his recent health battle. In a new social media post on Tuesday, "The Nature Boy" announced that he is now cancer-free.
The news was met with a wave of relief and celebration from the wrestling community. It comes after a month of concern and sometimes conflicting reports about his condition.
"I'm Now Cancer Free!"
In a post on his X account, Flair was direct and triumphant in his announcement. He thanked the medical team that has been treating him.

A Confusing Road to Confirmation
Concerns for Flair's health first arose in June when his son-in-law, wrestling promoter and podcaster Conrad Thompson, stated that Flair had a cancerous spot removed from his skin. Flair initially denied these reports, stating he did not have cancer "of any kind."

Flair eventually confirmed to the outlet that he was indeed battling skin cancer for the second time in three years and would be undergoing treatment and surgery. The situation led him to cancel a recent appearance at the ATL Comic Convention, which heightened concern among his fans.
A Lifetime Of Defying The Odds
This is the latest in a long line of serious health battles that Ric Flair has miraculously overcome. In 1975, a plane crash broke his back in three places, and doctors told him he would never wrestle again. He returned to the ring in just a few months.
In 2017, he faced a near-death experience when he was placed in a medically induced coma due to complications from a bowel obstruction and was given a very low chance of survival. He defied the odds again. He even claimed his doctor informed him he had a heart attack during his 2022 retirement match, a fact he was unaware of at the time.
This latest victory over cancer is another chapter in the resilient life of one of wrestling's toughest and most iconic figures. The 16-time world champion has once again proven his legendary fighting spirit.

TKO delivers a 'knockout' with UFC and WWE deals as Wall Street sees more upside ahead

TKO Group Holdings (TKO) is going for the belt with a $7.7 billion media rights deal with Paramount (PARA) to stream UFC events, combined with a recent WWE agreement with Disney's (DIS) ESPN. The company's stock surged 10% on Monday following the announcement. Its stock is up 26% in 2025 and 50% in the past year. Jefferies analyst Randal Konik reinforced the firm's Buy rating after the news, with a price target of $220. "We expect the UFC deal to deliver higher-than-expected financial gains and a new partnership to propel the brand forward," Konik said. According to Jefferies, TKO's agreement with Paramount solidifies the company's position as a dominant force in sports media. The seven-year deal gives Paramount+ exclusive US streaming rights for UFC events starting in 2026, including 13 numbered events and 30 Fight Nights annually. Notably, the deal is a shift away from the traditional pay-per-view (PPV) model. TKO CEO Dana White has said the agreement aims to make it "more affordable and accessible to view the greatest fights on a massive platform." Konik wrote that removing the PPV barriers could drive higher fan engagement and broader reach. Additionally, TKO retains key international media rights and gained two minutes of additional ad inventory per hour, giving it flexibility to monetize content further. Raymond James analyst Ric Prentiss wrote in a note that the announcement signals Paramount's management may be adopting a more aggressive, growth-focused strategy toward sports rights and content spending. The deal with TKO underscores broader competition among streaming platforms to secure premium live sports content. TKO, the result of a 2023 merger between UFC and WWE, has also won big deals for the wrestling league. Last week, ESPN reached a $1.6 billion agreement with TKO's WWE for exclusive rights to high-profile events like WrestleMania. The five-year deal officially starts in 2026. Earlier this year, Netflix (NFLX) began airing WWE's Monday Night Raw as part of a 10-year, $5 billion contract. In the second quarter, TKO's total revenue rose 10% year over year to $1.3 billion, surpassing estimates of $1.2 billion. Net income climbed to $273.1 million, compared to $46.2 million in the prior year period. UFC revenue jumped 5.5% year over year to $415 million, while WWE revenue increased 22% to $556 million. Sales for TKO's third brand, International Management Group, declined 4% to $306 million. The company raised its full-year revenue guidance to a range of $4.63 billion to $4.69 billion, compared to $2.8 billion in 2024. TKO's forward price-to-earnings ratio currently stands at 88.5, more than double compared to a year ago, reflecting strong investor optimism. Of the eight analysts covering the stock, most hold a Buy rating, with Benchmark being the sole firm maintaining a Hold. CFRA Research chief investment strategist Sam Stovall said on Opening Bid that its valuation may still be reasonable. "This is a category that has some opportunities going forward," Stovall said. A Nashville resident has delighted internet viewers by revealing the adorable four-legged "tourist trap" she recently discovered. Caroline Clark was headed to her favorite wine bar in Nashville, Tennessee, when she spotted a colorful signpost reading "BEANZ" outside someone's yard. Indeed, there wasn't just one sign either, as there were multiple frames dotted along the fence. Clark told Newsweek that she initially thought they were "growing beans in their garden" as it was all so pretty and serene. But then she noticed the actual tourist attraction that all the signposts were really for, and she couldn't get enough. Indeed, it wasn't beans they were growing in their yard, but rather, an adorable golden retriever named Beanz. The colorful frames allow him to poke his head through the fence and receive all the fuss and attention from passersby. From left: Caroline Clark pets Beanz through the fence. Despite already running late for her plans at Butterlamp, a bread and wine bar, Clark said she couldn't resist staying with Beanz for several minutes. She happily stayed there chatting and petting the golden retriever, who certainly made her date night even more memorable. Clark captured a video of her "fave tourist trap" in Nashville and shared it on TikTok (@themotleycaro). Needless to say, internet users are obsessed with Beanz, and the clip has gone viral with over 272,000 views and more than 52,000 likes on TikTok at the time of writing. "He's an angel, and, since posting, so many neighbors have shared how much they love Beanz too and walk by just to say hi," Clark continued. There is no doubt that the golden retriever loves all the attention he gets as well; Clark said she could tell how much of a "social love bug" he truly is. From now on, every time she returns to Butterlamp, Clark will absolutely be on the lookout for Beanz. She said: "Everyone is obsessed. Some are locals who are hoping to find him, and others are considering finding him when they travel into town. Hopefully, his newfound fame will bring him many more joyful interactions." With over 215 comments on the viral TikTok video, internet users have praised this adorable idea, and many are desperate to visit the newest tourist hotspot in town. One comment on the post reads: "wait I'll be in Nashville next weekend, where do I find Beanz!" Another TikTok user wrote: "This is a tourist trap I can get behind!" A third person posted: "Where is this golden opportunity?" One comment added: "Now, for this, I'd wait in line for hours." Rescue Puppy Attends Daycare, Owner Can't Cope With What Happens at Pick Up

When Katie Tang, 27, arrived at the doggy daycare to collect her 6-month-old puppy Aspen, there didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary at first. But when one of the workers said she had something to talk about, Tang feared the worst. Tang, of Queens, New York, told Newsweek that her "heart immediately dropped" and she thought she was about to receive some bad news about Aspen. But after seeing the look on her face, the worker quickly reassured Tang that it was good news, because Aspen, a poodle, Maltese, and Shih Tzu mix, had won the "Dog of the Week" award. Indeed, Tang was directed to the adorable poster on the wall with Aspen's photo on it. Katie Tang, 27, and Aspen winning the award at daycare. "Aspen is my special boy, but for someone else to recognize how special he is, was an incredible feeling. "The daycare had a paw competition that day, and Aspen had the fastest and cleanest paw. He was also in general a cuddly boy and good listener, and they wanted to highlight what a good boy he always is." As this was Aspen's first time winning the award, Tang simply had to get a picture of him next to the poster. She shared an adorable video of this moment on the dog's dedicated TikTok account (@aspenfluffernut) and it has delighted internet users. In just a matter of days, the video has gone viral with over 395,600 views and more than 116,800 likes on TikTok. The caption layered over the clip jokes, "Is this what being a parent feels like?" Of course, Tang was sure to reward Aspen that evening with a delicious meal of homemade chicken bone broth and salmon skin. She also served up "his favorite" treat for dessert—some refreshing watermelon. Aspen was rescued from Bobbi and the Strays Rescue in Freeport, New York when he was just 8 weeks old. He's settled into his new home wonderfully well, and he's come an awful long way since. Now, he knows 15 tricks and Tang is even working on more with him, including a "sit pretty" command and "stretch." Tang loves sharing Aspen's new life on social media, from going to work with her, or the dreaded bath time. The online response has been incredibly positive, and it even feels like "a little community" for dog lovers to share pictures of their dogs and their accomplishments. Tang told Newsweek: "The reaction to his video has been so heartwarming and has been making me smile every day. To see the internet cheer my little puppy on has made me feel so warm and connected. Reading through the comments and seeing all those amazing pictures has made my day since the post went up, and just really shows that dogs bring out the best in people." Social media users have been quick to praise Aspen for his remarkable achievement, leading to more than 500 comments on the TikTok post so far. One comment reads: "We are SO proud." Another TikTok user wrote: "His little pose. He's proud of himself too." While another person replied: "Congratulations Aspen! Your internet aunties are so proud of you."
