Suárez hits 2 homers for 2nd consecutive game as Diamondbacks beat Cardinals 5-3
Suárez has six multihomer games this season — including a four-homer game on April 26 — and leads the majors with 20 home runs since June 1. He launched a three-run drive off starter Miles Mikolas (5-7) in the first inning and a solo shot in the third.
The slugger leads the National League with 35 homers, one more than Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani, and his 85 RBIs are tops in the big leagues — two ahead of Seattle catcher Cal Raleigh.
Yohel Pozo, Jordan Walker and Victor Scott II drew consecutive walks to load the bases for St. Louis with no outs in the fifth. Pozo scored on Brendan Donovan's groundout to make it 5-2, but Kelly (9-5) struck out Iván Herrera before Alec Burleson grounded out to end the threat.
Walker's RBI double in the ninth capped the scoring.
Scott hit a leadoff double in the third and stole third base before an RBI single by Herrera made it 4-1.

England trailed by two goals after a rough first half-hour against Sweden in the quarterfinals in Zurich, then rallied late to level the game. England won a memorably chaotic penalty shootout. Carter is 'not the only one that gets this abuse or this racism,' Wiegman said, adding her team was ready to send a 'message to the world.' England midfielder Georgia Stanway said the collective support for Carter 'probably brought us together as a team.' England players talked about the abuse, Stanway said: 'A few people want to come off social media because they're fed up with it.' Tournament organizer UEFA, like world soccer body FIFA and the International Olympic Committee, try to protect athletes with online platforms that flag up abusive posts reported to social media operators. Hamburger SV signs Israel goalkeeper Daniel Peretz on loan from Bayern Munich
HAMBURG, Germany (AP) — Israel goalkeeper Daniel Peretz is joining promoted Hamburger SV from Bayern Munich on loan for next season. 'Daniel has continued to develop at FC Bayern over the past two years, and we are very pleased with him,' Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund said Monday. 'He has really good skills and an outstanding character. He's always reliable in our goalkeeping team led by Manuel Neuer. Now he'll gain further experience and plenty of Bundesliga minutes at Hamburger SV.' That's not a given, as established goalkeeper Daniel Heuer Fernandes is a club favorite at Hamburg after helping it to promotion last season. The 32-year-old Heuer Fernandes showed he's in fine form with several saves in a friendly game at Austrian team Sturm Graz on Saturday.
