The St. Augustine Police Department posted a video on social media Tuesday morning.
It shows a black bear jumping over a white wall in an empty neighborhood.

'It's important to keep a respectful distance and never run,' the police department said on Facebook. 'Black bears prefer to avoid people and will usually move on quickly.'
The department also posted a picture on social media.
It shows the bear appearing to be lying down in a yard.

A woman has died from her injuries after a crash in Logan County last week. Osoro was following too close and hit the Tesla in the back, according to troopers. Osoro then traveled left of the centerline and crashed into a Kia Soul traveling northbound, head-on. The Kia was driven by 37-year-old Ashley Thomas, who was flown to the hospital with serious injuries. She died from those injuries on June 7, according to troopers. The driver of the Tesla was not hurt. Osoro was flown by MedFlight to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for serious injuries. Two crashes within minutes of each other on Saturday left several people hurt, some seriously. [DOWNLOAD: Free WHIO-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] As News Center 7 previously reported, a motorcyclist struck a deer around 5 p.m. on I-70 in Mad River Township. The 41-year-old motorcyclist from Suffolk, Virginia, was flown to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Four cars were involved in the crash, according to OSP. Troopers said an initial investigation revealed a vehicle was hit from behind by another vehicle following too close, causing a chain reaction crash. Multiple people were hurt in this crash, some with serious injuries, troopers said. We will continue to follow this story and update as new information is available.
